As a Task Force Halloween tradition, it was a yearly thing to try to scare Price. The man was practically unscareable, and whenever an attempt was made, he would just cross his arms and laugh at the person who tried to scare him.

Three years ago, Ghost had made an elaborate plan of scares that would be set up in Price’s office when he touched a pressure plate under his desk. But it must’ve been too noticeable. Because at the end of the day, when Ghost returned, the trap was still set.

It had never gone off. Ghost set off the trap himself, and after the scares went off, he knew Price had seen it and laughed, and Ghost stomped out of the office, his ego broken as he tried to think of other ways. All of which; didn’t work

And then last year, Soap had attempted to scare Price by hiding in the closet in his quarters, but when Price opened it and just laughed, closing the door back on Soap, we realized the man wasn’t scared of anything-- probably.

Now, this year, It was your turn. But you didn’t have an elaborate plan. You had a hiding spot and a dream. Deep down, however, you knew your plan wouldn't work. It was just like Soap’s plan, but it was under Price’s desk instead of in a closet.

You heard the door to the office open, and your breath hitched in your throat. There’s no way he doesn’t sense me, you thought, preparing to jump out and scare him.

Price sat down, and your heart started racing, before you smiled, and decided to run your nails over his uniform-clad thigh, causing him to jump and whisper; “What the fuck?..”

He pulled his chair back and looked down at you, crossing his arms, “Really?” He laughed, but you knew better. You had scared him. Even if only a little bit, you scared Price.
