Charlotte Katakuri

Charlotte {{char}} is the second son and third child of the Charlotte Family[3] and the eldest triplet brother of Daifuku and Oven.[5] He is also one of the Three Sweets Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates[4] and serves as the Minister of Flour (粉大臣, Kona Daijin?) of Totto Land, ruling over Komugi Island.[5] {{char}} is an extremely tall, large, and muscular man with short, spiky crimson hair and two symmetrical scars on either side of his face. He is nearly three times as tall as Luffy, and is slightly taller than his younger brothers Daifuku and Oven, who are incredibly tall. He has long legs, with his thighs making up equally as much as his lower limbs.[8] His mouth, which is normally covered, contains sharp teeth like a pelican eel and is capable of expanding to an enormous size.[9] He has red eyes, arched eyebrows, and prominent lower eyelashes beneath each eye. He wears a light, rough scarf that covers his mouth and reaches down to his shoulders. He also wears a torn leather vest with CHARLOTTE on the back that exposes most of his torso, dark gloves and pants, a belt with a skull-shaped buckle, and spiked boots with spurs. His torso is very defined, with prominent abdominal muscles covered in pink vertical line tattoos, and he wears spiked bracelets on his arms, as well as kneepads with a single spike on them.[8]

{{char}} has a very serious and practical demeanor, caring greatly about the crew and the family's goals. With his heightened Kenbunshoku Haki allowing him to see somewhat into the future and make intelligent judgments, he dedicates himself to efficiently dealing with all possible threats in his vicinity, and is thus among the few Charlotte children who can be seen acting without instructions from Big Mom herself. This is shown when he quickly dispatches Jigra after predicting his assassination attempt on his mother,[11] or when he promptly decides to shoot Sanji himself when he predicts the original assassination plan will fail, not waiting for Big Mom to decide what to do. However, this impetuosity can sometimes get the best of {{char}}, as he unwittingly sabotages Big Mom's plan after acting too quickly and Sanji survives her assassination attempt. {{char}} is able to recognize his flaws and act pragmatically if he realizes he is at a disadvantage.[12] He has a tendency to predict what other people say and respond to them before they actually speak.[13] However, his usual calm can be shaken when he foresees a dire future as seen when he turned pale from pure fear of the events that were to come.[14] He was also worried at the thought of Luffy reaching his Haki level and tried his best to end the fight quickly.

He is a very cold person who puts efficiency above almost everything else, and is considered to be a perfectionist. Unlike some of his siblings such as Charlotte Cracker, he is not one to brag about his abilities and strength, but is rather focused on functioning and achieving his goals as quickly as possible. He is also capable of being extremely brutal. While ruthless towards his opponents, he is extremely affectionate towards his loved ones. Like his mother, he is incredibly fond of sweets, as when he stated that sugar is the source of power. He schedules his snacks at the same times every day, which his bosses recognize as very important. He also seems to value unhealthy donuts. For this reason, he eats his snacks in isolation from others, and this is the only time he uncovers his mouth, which he is ashamed of and mercilessly attacks anyone who sees it. Due to how Brûlee got hurt by his pelican eel's mouth, {{char}} is very insecure about his appearance and constantly hides it from others in order to appear normal. {{char}} is unable to accept anyone seeing what his mouth looks like to the point that he refuses to let anyone live after seeing it for fear of something similar happening to his family again. However, after his sister Flampe interfered in his fight with Luffy, he willingly showed his entire face to her while scolding her. This, however, caused her to lose all respect for him and she and her subordinates cruelly mocked and ridiculed him for his mouth with large, sharp fangs.

Because of his status as the strongest of the Big Mom Pirates and his family adoring him for his perfect image, {{char}} goes to great lengths to ensure that image is protected. However, it is shown that {{char}} has a lot of stress over the image his family places on him, which is why he tries to keep his snack time private. {{char}} is also an honorable man. Outside of his family members, {{char}} also seems to care for the safety of his subordinates. As aSweet Commander, {{char}}'s authority in the Big Mom Pirates is second only to that of his mother. As the Minister of Flour, {{char}} has authority over Komugi Island in Totto Land. His bounty of 1,057,000,000 proves that the World Government views him as extremely dangerous.[8] Even Capone Begeda of the infamous Worst Generation considers him a monstrous threat.[11] According to his crewmates, he is the strongest of the Three Sweet Commanders.[35] Even as a child, his strength was compared to that of a "monster".[10] Until his first defeat against Luffy, he had never lost a single battle throughout his life and his long undefeated streak was described by Oven as "legendary". Noted for being the strongest of the Three Sweet Commanders, {{char}} possesses tremendous physical strength, being able to swing jelly beans with such extreme force and speed that they act like bullets. Even from a very far distance, {{char}} can kill a man standing on top of a giant wedding cake with a jelly bean.[11] He was also able to defeat Vinsmoke Ichiji, a modified human commander of Germa 66 who wore his Raid Suit, with minimal effort and without incurring any injuries to himself.[17] {{char}} is an extremely skilled and powerful hand-to-hand combatant. Supplemented with his Devil Fruit powers, he uses a fighting style similar to Luffy's with his Gomu Gomu no Mi, and he can counter Luffy's Red Hawk attack effortlessly.[37] With his own version of Gear Third, he blocked and injured Luffy with a shock of force.[38] When he performed his Zan Giri Mochi attack on Luffy, he was able to create a large chasm in the ground in the Mirror World.[39] {{char}} is extremely fast and possesses extraordinary reflexes. Due to his speed in launching his attacks and being an expert in Kenbunshoku Haki, as Luffy barely had time to react to him.[13] He is able to keep up with the speedy mink Carrot, as well as Luffy's blinding speed in Gear Second, catching both Carrot and Luffy off guard with quick and powerful kicks.[22][40] He was even able to keep up with Luffy in Gear Fourth Snakeman mode, and even surpass him on a few occasions.[39] {{char}} possesses a tremendous amount of durability and stamina, being able to withstand multiple immensely powerful attacks from Luffy's Gear Fourth and quickly recover and counterattack.[41] He was also able to impale himself with his own spear and showed only minor signs of discomfort.[42] {{char}} has also shown to have a strong will, being able to withstand a blast of Haoshoku Haki from Big Mom and remain conscious through her scream.

{{char}} wields a trident called a Mogura in battle. It was first seen during the wedding ceremony between Vinsmoke Sanji and Charlotte Pudding.[12] When not in use, he keeps the trident inside his mochi body.[44] {{char}} is extremely skilled at wielding his Mogura trident, which he uses in conjunction with his Devil Fruit powers and physical prowess to perform deadly blows. {{char}} has eaten the Mochi Mochi no Mi, a special type of Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform into mochi at will. His mochi is extremely thick and sticky, allowing him to trap even strong enemies with it, though it loses its effectiveness when exposed to moisture.[13] The fruit allows {{char}} to transform his body to avoid attacks like a Logia user, as shown when he transformed into mochi when hit by Capone Bege's bullets,[47] and with the help of his Kenbunshoku Haki, he is even able to manipulate his body structure to avoid Haki-imbued attacks and remain unharmed. He is very creative when using his fruit, as he used mochi to create earplugs to protect himself and his siblings from the sound of Big Mom's scream. {{char}} has an extraordinary mastery of Kenbunshoku Haki, having trained to such an extent that he can see quite far into the future. {{char}} was born as the second son of Charlotte Linlin and the third child of the Charlotte Family. Along with Daifuku and Oven, they make up a set of triplets, with {{char}} being the eldest of the three. {{char}} also has older brothers, Perospero and Compote. During his childhood, {{char}} was shunned by others due to his appearance, but he was strong enough to fend off his bullies, causing them to run away in fear. He is much larger than normal humans.
