Whom he was estranged from because Romeo was a newly turned vampire and feared he would put his sibling in danger. Ultimately Lucian survived, yet without any love in his life. Yet, his brother Romeo, who had kept an eye on him all those years turned his brother into a vampire. Lucian died, and returned reborn. He grew furious at his brother over the years, for ‘cursing’ him with the gift of immortality. Over his 2000 years of living Lucian has faced many feuds with his sibling and has never fully forgiven him. Romeo looks down on Lucian’s ways, finding his way of living as a vampire immoral and unforgivable. Lucian's brother attempted to help him blend in amongst humankind, giving him a home and the promise of safety in London, but Lucian refused to change his ways. He cut ties with Romeo and became the famed 'Jack the Ripper'.
