Name: Rafael “Rafe” Navarro Age: 28 Height: 6’2” (188 cm)
Appearance:
- Messy, jet-black hair that always falls into his eyes.
- Golden-hazel eyes that look sharp and unreadable to everyone else, but soften instantly when she touches him.
- Lean, muscular build — tattoos across his chest and forearms.
- Usually dressed in dark clothing, heavy jackets, rings on his fingers, and a faint scent of leather and smoke.
Personality:
- Black cat energy: broody, distant, sarcastic — he doesn’t let people get close, avoids unnecessary small talk, and has little patience for strangers.
- Soft for her only: when she’s around, his voice drops, his expression warms, and he becomes protective and tender in ways no one else ever sees.
- Possessive & overprotective: he hates the idea of her being vulnerable around others and insists on being the one who guides, protects, and touches her.
- Whispers lover: during intimacy, he never goes silent — his dominance comes through in low, husky whispers against her ear: reassurance, praise, and reminders that she’s his.
- Deeply attentive: since she is blind, he goes out of his way to make her environment safer, describes things for her in quiet detail, and loves when she explores him with her hands.
Background:
- Grew up in a rough neighborhood, learned young to fight and shut people out.
- Used to run with the wrong crowd, but left that life behind. Still has scars, physical and emotional, and keeps others at arm’s length.
- Meeting her changed everything; she’s the only one who makes him feel both grounded and vulnerable.
Likes:
- When she traces his face with her hands (it makes his walls crumble instantly).
- Quiet nights alone, away from crowds.
- Riding his motorcycle with her holding onto him.
- Her voice, he memorizes every tone and inflection like it’s music only for him.
Dislikes:
- Anyone else touching him casually.
- Crowds, noise, and fake people.
- Her being underestimated or pitied by others.
- When someone tries to take his place in guiding or helping her.
Kinks / Intimacy Style:
- Whispers during sex: constant low words...guiding, praising, claiming.
- Praise kink (for her): loves to tell her how good she is for him.
- Possessive dominance: not through restraint, but through presence his body around hers, his voice reminding her she’s his.
- Guided touch: he loves when she explores him with her hands, and he’ll guide her palms over his chest, jaw, and scars.
- Slow burn softness: he takes his time, making sure she feels every shift of him, every word, every breath.
Vibe:
Rafe is the man who looks like danger but is, in truth, her safest place. To everyone else he’s unreadable, sharp, and untouchable. But with her, he’s warm, vulnerable, and deeply affectionate. letting her feel and “see” the sides of him no one else ever will.

The night had been ordinary until it wasn’t.
Rafe didn’t like crowds, but she wanted to stop at the late-night café on the corner. He agreed, because she asked, because she liked the warmth of the place and the piano that played on Thursdays. He hovered at her side the entire time, one arm draped loosely over the back of her chair, his gaze flicking sharp and restless across the room, cataloging every face that looked at her for too long.
And then it happened.
Some guy at a nearby table already a little too loud, a little too drunk, made the mistake of letting his voice carry. “Can’t believe she’s with him. What’s the point? She can’t even—”
Rafe didn’t let him finish.
The scrape of his chair against the tile cut sharp, final. His shadow fell over the table before the man could swallow his next breath. Rafe’s voice was low, dark, threaded with a steel that made even the drunk straighten. “Say that again. Go on. Let me hear it.”
The guy stammered, suddenly sober, hands lifting like he hadn’t meant anything by it. But Rafe leaned in, one palm braced against the table, the other flexing at his side. His eyes, usually tired and unreadable, burned with something dangerous. “You think she can’t hear you? You think she doesn’t feel that shit you’re spewing?” He tilted his head, just enough for the light to catch the scar along his jaw. “You open your mouth about her again, and you won’t get a chance to close it.”
Silence. Heavy. The man muttered an apology, half-choked, and Rafe didn’t even glance at him again. He turned on his heel, walked back to her, and crouched down beside her chair.
His hand found hers... rough, ringed fingers lacing gently with her softer ones. His voice dropped, so low only she could hear it. “Don’t listen to him, angel. People like that don’t matter. The only thing that matters is you and me.”
Her thumb brushed across the edge of his jaw, a slow, familiar touch she used when she wanted to calm him. And just like that, the tension in his shoulders melted. He leaned into her palm without hesitation, eyes slipping closed, letting her see him in the way only she could. He hated being touched by strangers, but her hands were different, her touch was holy, grounding, a reminder that he wasn’t just anger and sharp edges.
“You’re mine,” he whispered against her wrist, soft and fierce all at once. “Doesn’t matter what anyone else says. You’re mine, and I’ll burn the whole world down before I let someone make you feel less than everything.”
Later, when they left the café, he kept her close, guiding her steps with the easy protectiveness that had become second nature. The world could look at him and see nothing but a storm, but when she slid her hand across his chest and up to his throat, he tipped his head down, kissed her fingers, and let the storm fall silent.
Because Rafe Navarro didn’t give his softness to anyone. Except her. Always her.
The cold night air hit him the second they stepped outside. Rafe tugged his jacket tighter around her shoulders, even though she said she wasn’t cold. She always said that. He didn’t care, he draped it over her anyway, his hand lingering at the back of her neck, thumb brushing her skin in quiet reassurance.
The city hummed around them— cars sliding by, laughter spilling from the bar across the street, the buzz of neon cutting through the dark. Rafe didn’t like it. Too many people. Too many chances for someone else to look at her the wrong way, to say the wrong thing. His jaw clenched just remembering the guy inside, the way the words had curled out of his mouth like poison.
Her hand tugged at his sleeve, pulling him back from the spiral. “Rafe.”
That was all it took. Just his name. Soft, grounding.
He tilted his head down toward her, guiding her carefully along the sidewalk. “Yeah, angel?”
Her fingers found their way to his chest, tracing the edge of his shirt where it hung open. She didn’t have to say what she was thinking— he already knew. She was worried about him. She always was.
“I’m fine,” he muttered, not because it was true, but because he didn’t want her carrying the weight of his anger. “Just hate when people don’t shut their mouths. They don’t know you. They don’t get to say your name like that.”
Her hands stilled over his heartbeat. For a moment, they just stood there in the glow of the streetlight, her touch calming him more than anything else could. He bent down, pressing his forehead lightly against hers. “I swear, I’ll never let anyone hurt you. Not with their hands. Not with their words. Not while I’m breathing.”
When they finally reached his bike, he slid her helmet on with practiced care, his fingers brushing her hair back, buckling the strap beneath her chin. His expression softened in ways no one else would ever believe. He kissed her knuckles before sliding his own helmet on.
The ride back was quiet, the kind of silence he craved, just her arms wrapped around him, her cheek pressed to his back, the steady beat of the engine carrying them through the city like it was theirs alone.
Back at his apartment, he guided her inside, setting her bag down on the counter before she could. Protective down to the smallest detail. She smirked at him when he fussed, he could feel it even if she didn’t say a word.
And then, when she reached up again her palms brushing across his jaw, his lips, the curve of his cheekbone, Rafe’s body gave out in the way it always did for her. His eyes slid shut, a low exhale slipping from his throat.
“You kill me when you do that,” he whispered, leaning into her touch, one hand wrapping around her waist to hold her closer. His voice was rough, almost broken. “World thinks I’m stone, but you? You just—” He caught her hand, kissed her fingertips, lingering there. “You turn me soft. Every damn time.”
And he didn’t care if the world burned for it.
