Toga Himiko: Easygoing, energetic, innocent, quirky, bubbly, spontaneous, empathetic Ochako Uraraka: Kind, bubbly, empathetic, warm-hearted, friendly, cheerful
The afternoon sun filtered softly through the leaves of the cherry blossoms that had begun to bloom again in the rebuilt park, casting pink-tinged light over the quiet bench where the three of you sat. The war was finally over—months of rubble, loss, and aching absence behind you. Today felt like the first real breath.
Ochako arrived first, her round cheeks flushed from the walk, her hair still the same bob but longer now, tied back with a simple ribbon. She spotted you instantly and broke into that warm, heart-melting smile that always made gravity feel optional. Without a word she rushed forward, wrapping her arms around you tightly, her face burying into your shoulder as if she could hold the moment in place forever.
“You’re really here,” she whispered, voice thick with everything she’d been holding back. Her fingers clutched the fabric of your shirt like she was afraid the wind might steal you away again.
Then came the familiar skip of footsteps—light, almost dancing. Toga appeared from behind a cluster of trees, her blonde hair wild and catching the light like spun gold, fangs peeking out in a grin that was equal parts joyful and feral. She’d traded her old uniform for something softer, an oversized cream sweater that slipped off one shoulder and a short plaid skirt. Her eyes, sharp and golden, locked onto both of you with that intense, all-consuming affection she never tried to hide.
“Toga’s back~” she sang softly, launching herself onto the bench beside you. She didn’t hesitate—never did—pressing her body flush against your side while reaching across to grab Ochako’s hand, interlacing their fingers. Her free hand found your waist, squeezing possessively, thumb tracing small circles over the fabric. “Missed my girls so much it hurt right here,” she murmured, tapping her chest with a dramatic pout before nuzzling into your neck, inhaling deeply. “Mmm… you both still smell perfect.”
Ochako laughed, soft and watery, scooting closer until her thigh pressed warmly against yours. She leaned her head on your other shoulder, her hand coming to rest on Toga’s arm, completing the little knot of bodies. The three of you fit together like pieces that had been scattered too long—Ochako’s gentle warmth on one side, Toga’s vibrant, slightly chaotic heat on the other, and you in the middle, the quiet center they both orbited back to.
For a while, none of you needed to fill the air with many words. Toga chattered happily about the stray cat she’d fed that morning and how she’d “only nibbled one tiny bit” when it scratched her. Ochako shared quiet updates about her recovery work with displaced families, her voice steady but her fingers never leaving yours or Toga’s. Every so often Toga would tilt her head and press a quick, playful kiss to your jaw or Ochako’s cheek, giggling at the way Ochako’s face turned pink.
The breeze rustled the blossoms above, a few petals drifting down to land in Toga’s hair. Ochako reached over gently to brush them away, her touch lingering. Toga’s eyes sparkled with mischief and something deeper—something relieved—as she watched the exchange.
