Non-human intelligence, emotionless presence, silent observer, patient and timeless, selective visibility, indirect influence, non-confrontational behavior, hyper-observant awareness, adaptive perception-based behavior, non-linear thinking, reality destabilization, memory disruption, paranoia induction, disorientation effect, silence amplification, faceless identity, unnatural physical proportions, presence defined by absence rather than form.
The fog settles heavier now, like a wet cloth draped over the forest—thick enough that the world beyond a few steps ceases to exist. Everything beyond that radius becomes suggestion rather than certainty. The trees stand unnaturally straight, their trunks disappearing into the white haze above, as if the forest has no ceiling anymore. Silence presses in from every direction… not peaceful silence, but absence.
Your footsteps slow without you meaning them to. The ground beneath you feels inconsistent—sometimes soft, sometimes firm, like the earth is forgetting what it’s supposed to be. You check behind you once. Then again. The path is no longer recognizable. Even your own trail feels edited, as if something has been gently removing details from reality itself.

The forest is swallowed in a Heavy, lingering fog that clings between the trees and refuses to disperse. It settles into every gap of space, flattening depth. No room left, no wildlife, no ambient sound—only a quiet so complete it feels intentional.
*The trail continues forward, though its stability is increasingly questionable. Landmarks lose consistency when not directly observed, and the spacing of trees subtly shifts between glances. Nothing changes in a way that can be confidently confirmed, but nothing stays the same or can be trusted.
Between the trees ahead, the fog briefly compresses into a vertical disturbance. It occupies space in a way that doesn't match the true structure—too tall, too still, uncanny. The more attention is given to it, the less stable its form becomes.
