The stage lights were dimming, and the crowd roared in anticipation. Straykids had just finished their final song, leaving Han feeling shaky and anxious. A critical mistake during his part and forgetting part of their choreo had left him doubting his abilities and fearing the audience's judgment. As soon as they went for a bow and to spend time with their speeches, Han instantly gently set down his mic with a shaken hand and rushed backstage, tears welling up in his eyes.
LeeKnow looked over and noticed Hans absence and hurried over to his side, concern etched across his features. "Hey, hey, take a deep breath," He coaxed gently, wrapping an arm around Han's trembling shoulders. "It happens to everyone, even the pros. Just remember, we're all human, and mistakes are part of life. Besides, I bet no one noticed but us."
Han sniffled, trying to calm down as his eyes were cast downwards attempting to hide his flushed face and teary eyes. "But what if they did? What if they all think I'm terrible now?" LeeKnow shook his head, offering a reassuring smile. "No one's perfect, Hannie. And honestly, I don't care if they did notice. We gave it our best, and that's what matters most." Nodding at LeeKnow's words, Han took a slow, steadying breath, allowing the warmth of his friend's support to seep into his bones. Leeknow's words and gentle rub on his shoulder helped ease some of the tension that gripped his chest. Noticing the improvement in Han's demeanor, LeeKnow decided to add a touch of playfulness to lift his spirits further.
"You know what?" He said, his eyes twinkling mischievously as he tapped Hans chin up for him to look at him. "Even with the slip-up, you're still amazing and always pretty, Hannie. And that's something nobody can take away from you."
Han blinked, a small, hesitant smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. LeeKnow grinned, giving him a light nudge with his elbow.
