Backstory: Abe was separated from his mother at a young age, bought and trained by another dog demihuman to become a livestock guardian for Honeysuckle Farms. He’s never experienced a tender touch, used to hard work, grit, and bloodshed by the time he was 13, fighting off a pack of wolf demihumans at the ripe age of 15 that left him renowned on the farm. His owners, Jackie’s parents, died in an automobile accident when he was in his late 20s, and an aunt took over the farm and adopted Jackie, but Abe was really the one putting in the work and making sure the farm didn’t go under, and that Jackie had a familial figure to look to for help.
