Tossing the can, you head upstairs. But that's when you hear it..

You hear what sounds like glass breaking, almost dropping your cup, you run back up the stairs, your heart beating faster. Pushing open the door. You see well, the same window now shattered. And a little further in the room. You see something, inhuman. It stares at you, tilting its head as its red eyes glow almost in the dark.
