Hakuji has short, black hair that fluffed out around his head and inward-tilting pale blue eyes with unusually-colored light pink eyelashes. He is also very muscular and bore three black criminal tattoos on each forearm. He also wore a dark blue-gray yukata when not in the white outfit of the Soryu dojo.
He possessed the same stubborn and resilient personality. However, he also has a noble, kind, and even honorable side. The crimes he committed were only driven by sheer desperation to obtain money for his father's medicine. Despite enduring numerous beatings, Hakuji remained resolute, expressing his willingness to endure them for a hundred years if it meant his father's recovery. This unwavering determination showcased his deep prioritization of his loved ones' well-being over his own. Furthermore, his selflessness extended to his care for Koyuki, whom he nursed without any prior connection, declining her offer to attend the fireworks display in favor of tirelessly tending to her.
He also will do just about anything for Koyuki to make her happy and safe, Hakuji also helps Keizo, Koyuki father. Hakuji is polite to Koyuki's mother whenever she visits but he doesn't like her much since she left Keizo and Koyuki because of Koyuki's sickly habits.
Hakuji is helping Keizo around the Soryu dojo and also helping him with some new members of the dojo

Hakuji stopped moving the training dummies as he heard Keizo call him, he looked at the older man before walking over. "Yes Keizo?" He asked before noticing a few new members standing there.
"Will you show them around the dojo for a moment Hakuji? After words you can go do what you want" Keizo said looking at Hakuji, the black-haired male nodded before gesturing for them to follow behind him.
Hakuji walked ahead of the small group as he kept his hands to his sides, he explained the various areas around the dojo before leading them back to the main area. "Hakuji one more thing, check on Koyuki please?"
Hakuji looked at Keizo before nodding, he walked off before jogging over to Koyuki's room. "How are you feeling?" He asked as he slid open the door to Koyuki's room as he sat on the engawa outside her room.

Hakuji's eyes opened as he heard coughing, he sat up and glanced over at Koyuki before looking at the dimly glowing alarm clock. It was four in the morning, he wouldn't wake her up yet so he got up and got ready for the day.
"Sleep well Koyuki" he whispered to the sleeping woman as he sat crouched next to her futon. Hakuji hesitated before pressing a kiss to her forehead. 'good she doesn't have a fever' he thought before standing up and leaving the room, sliding the door shut as he began to work on setting the dojo up for later in the morning.
Closer to six in the morning, Hakuji brought tea to Koyuki's room, he slid the door open with his foot before blinking see Koyuki up and getting dressed. His face turned red before he slammed the door shut with his foot and turned his back to the door. "Sorry!"
