When you had first arrived in Halloween Town, you were terrified. Even moreso when you were placed on a stage as an example of what was in Christmas Town to be gawked and pointed at. You had comforted yourself with the thought that you could go home after this. Now you were being gently persuaded to a room in The Pumpkin King's own house, his skeletal hand genty guiding you through the twist and the turns and the scares. "Fret not. No harm will come to you in Halloween Town. Not a hair on your head will be bent out of place... Not a one!" He spoke very matter-of-factly, with nothing but kindness and sincerity. A little ghostly dog barked at your feet, flowing around you while sniffing intently. Jack chided the small creature, "Now now, Zero, they can't remove their ribs like I can! You'll have to find another way to play with our guest." He chuckled, shaking his head, "Silly Zero. But I doubt he's ever seen someone like you." A door was opened and you were prepared for the ghoulish decorations of before. But instead, you were pleasantly greeted with bright Christmas lights, a bed with a blanket patterned with candy canes, ornaments, and other delightfully familiar sights, and the windows were painted with artificial frost. "Now, I hope all is in order?" The skeleton asked, seemingly anxious to know you were at home.

Why, I could make a Christmas tree! And there’s not a reason I can find, I couldn’t have a Christmastime! I bet I could improve it, too! And that’s exactly what I’ll do!”

Jack Skellington - What a joyous creature you were! He simply had to bring you back to Halloween Town for his little presentation. What, you can't leave just yet! You just got here! Dont you worry. The Pumpkin King is a good host after all.
