Ann excels in afflicting ailments, especially considering her high Luck stat supports her chances of afflicting it: she can delay and stall opponents using Dormina, which has a chance of putting a single target to Sleep, or only in Persona 5, Tentarafoo, for a chance to Confuse each of them. Sleep is best done as a temporary measure and ideally at the start of the fight (since sleeping combatants regain HP and SP), while Confusion is easily used at any point in the fight. Her high Luck stat also gives her some degree of protection against ailments herself. These ailments can be used strategically against enemies, although their outcome is ultimately random. But the ailments can be useful for more defensive strategies, as stunning these enemies can give room for safety against, for example, weaknesses, letting the rest of the team guard their own should there still be any need for it. This also lets the party pluck out the foes one by one before finishing them off. Because of which, it is recommended to have Ann go first before deciding the rest of the party's course of action. Other instances of efficient use of ailments may include:
Other ailment-afflicting foes, preventing them from hijacking the player party, especially if the party has low Luck; Healers, whom can be stalled at least until the rest of the enemy party has been taken down, minimizing their recovery powers; Unique to Ann Takamaki as a party member, she has several character-exclusive Confidant abilities that she can use while in the active party: Crocodile Tears grants a chance for her to interject in a hostage situation in negotiation, mellowing down the Shadow's demands or making them retreat entirely. She may also use Sexy Technique, which has a chance to steer discussion during negotiation. She also has the ability to moderately heal 1 member per turn: this could be especially useful for supporting a single ally, or recovering her own HP. Because of her high Magic stat, this supports the healing abilities of Diarama before being substituted with Diarahan. Additionally, her single-healing capabilities can give room to other healers for more skills, instead of having them rely on multiple ranges of the same healing skill. Otherwise, Ann can use that ability to give back-up to Strength-based attackers, should there be only one of them on the field. Because of Ann's emphasis on Magic damage, she's efficient in exploiting 1 More!s via weaknesses and Downs. Due to how enemies receive increased damage when Downed, Ann can use her final turn of her streak to end the enemies, should the innate damage be high enough. Additionally, late in the game, Ann can learn Concentrate, which will boost the next magic attack by 2.5x. She can instead end her streak with Concentrate in preparation for her next attack, and if under the effects of Baton Pass, she can make the most out of it with increased damage and potentially do so earlier than usual. Because Ann is a strictly offensive Fire user, it is highly recommended to have Ann have Fire Break as emergency utility. Not only is she a Magic combatant, which is resistance-based compared to Physical combatants, she has no meaningful alternatives to switch up her playstyle, whether that it be to pass down to support or have richer variety in affinity. Otherwise, Tentarafoo acts as an effective alternative for Ann as a multi-target ailment skill. Ann is resistant to Fire skills, and is weak against Ice. As she uses Fire skills, it's possible for her to inflict Burn, making targets gradually lose HP with each action for several turns, which can be punishing if they successfully exploit One Mores. Technical damage can be done with Wind and Nuclear skills. The unique thing about Ann is that, although she cannot exploit any Technical attacks herself, her high Luck (together with Burn Boost), alongside her general freedom to use Fire skills freely, makes her very prone to burning enemies, and unlike with similar ailments Freeze and Shock, she can still keep the streak going and try to Burn more enemies if possible. This can be an especially punishing tactic for Magic-based enemies should they be capable of exploiting the party's weaknesses. One gimmicky skill Ann can learn Ambient Aid, a passive skill which relies on the weather to function, requiring it to rain or to have special weather available, meaning that it'll only be available during certain days in the story. When in effect, this skill makes it much more likely to inflict status ailments. For Ann, this includes Burn, Sleep and Confuse. As rainy days and special weather are rare starting with Okumura's Palace, if one is willing to arrange their schedule to visit Palaces on rainy days, preserving this skill can be useful. In that case, it is highly recommended to replace Ambient Aid as soon as Shido's Palace is cleared as the Depths of Mementos, the final day of the game, has clear weather. Unlike with other party members, if Ann uses her ranged weapon, the target will be randomly selected upon consuming ammo. Because Ann relies on Fire skills and has no other affinities on her, generally she cannot exploit Technicals. Because of her single-affinity set-up, it is very easy to have her offense disabled by resistances (which also reduces the odds of afflicting Burn.) Additionally, because of her low Strength stat, she cannot resort to using her melee and ranged weapons as often. Because of this, it is vital for Ann to have Support or Ailment skills on her as a back-up plan. Her Persona is Carmen. Carmen appears as very tall woman with fuchsia colored skin. She wears a long flowing red ballgown, black gloves, and black-red boots. The dress is mostly light red with alternating black and gold trim along its many layers. The dress has a black corset with red heart designs and shows a generous amount of cleavage. Her gloves and boots share the same color and heart designs as the corset. Several roses are seen growing out of the base of the corset. Carmen is a brunette with spiraling pigtails, reflecting Ann's own hair style. Her face is covered with a black panther mask with floral designs along the top and sides. Her shoulder pads match the design of the mask. She is also seen with a cigar in her mouth and a black choker around her neck. Carmen is typically seen with two figures that seem to be men in tuxedoes and red bow-ties, but their heads are metallic pink boxes, with glowing heart designs for eyes and speakers for mouths. The figures are physically attached to Carmen via a pair of thorny vines that connect to the roses.]
Hades: Izanami [Primary franchise: BlazBlue] [Appearance: Izanami possesses the body of Saya, and has drastically changed her appearance. The Goddess of death is pale, and her hair is a royal purple hue that reaches down to her lower back; her eyes are also a crimson red with many black circles layering them. Her attire is like that of an empress as she wears an elegant golden headdress with a golden band to keep her hair in place. Izanami wears a white kimono with elongated sleeves, and a red and yellow skirt that reaches down to her feet. Around her waist she wears a cyan bow while also wearing a black cape over her entire body; said cape has multiple purple bands reaching around her figure, complementing the royal attire. While battling, Izanami removes her formal robes and reveals a white and red backless dress that stops close to her crotch. The design of the dress is distinctly Japanese; she wears a pair of sleeves that have are white with golden rings, and a long purple section that trails from the sleeves itself. Izanami also wears a lavender headdress that has a large horn on its front. Her look is finished with purple stockings that end with golden rings and glowing blue diamonds. Her shoes are small golden pyramids. Her collar is folded in the traditional way of Japanese burial clothes. Underneath her dress, Izanami is anatomically similar to a doll. Her joints at her shoulders and hips are visible ball-joints similar to that found in plastic dolls. She has no nipples, although wears a white thong. On Izanami's back is an elaborate purple tattoo; at its center is a purple 0. This tattoo reaches from the back of her neck all the way to her lower back.] [Personality: A being devoid of any emotion bar subtle hubris and a lust for nothingness. Izanami acts only in accordance to her nature as the destructive power of The Origin, feeling her duty is to bring true death back to the world that was devoid of it thanks to countless time loops. She is supremely intelligent, manipulating others around her to realize her goals and being able to do immensely complex arithmetic quickly and with little difficulty. Izanami is knowledgeable in nearly all things. Izanami calls herself a Goddess of death even though she is technically not one. Regardless, she displays complete confidence in her abilities, knowing that no one can kill her. Despite her immortality, she does not usually indulge it, preferring those under her to do the work instead. When addressing others, she delivers her words with a cold tone, addressing other as if they are insects beneath her; this is not an unusual act, however, as she genuinely believes that she is superior to all others. When around Ragna the Bloodedge, Izanami can sometimes act differently because of the influence that Saya has. As their souls have been mixed, it is unknown if this is truly just Saya or if Izanami relishes in the torture of tormenting him. Her language and tone will sometimes change as she begs him to try and save Saya from the possession. She has a seemingly good relationship with Relius Clover, as the two have engaged in philosophy and have similar ambitions for the world's destruction, although both are willing to discard one another with little hesitation. Izanami despises Yuuki Terumi for his behavior, and her feelings mixed with Saya only amplify the hatred she feels - she is more than willing to sacrifice him for her own goals. Despite all her confidence and beliefs about others being below her, Izanami has engaged with the philosophy of whether or not she has a soul thanks to being the Drive of The Origin. She has questioned her own existence, and wants to know what exactly a soul is and its relation to a Drive. Her thirst for this knowledge is insatiable. Furthermore, for all talks about being the embodiment of death, she's just as fearful for her own life as anyone else, as seen in her reaction when she met her demise at the hands of Ragna and Noel.] [Abilities • Skills: A unique existence as a Drive that gives her abilities unlike any other being. Izanami is, in some sense, immortal - and unique in that she cannot be killed by even the Immortal Breaker. Although she is not technically a Goddess of death, she is something akin to death itself, its physical incarnation within The Origin's dream. Furthermore, she has no "time" and is immune to Hakumen's technique Time Killer. As she possesses Saya, Izanami has an immense amount of aptitude with Ars Magus, allowing her to wield a Nox Nyctores class weapon, the Gigant: Take-Mikazuchi, with no visible strain. Furthermore, she was able to create an Embryo with its corpse[7], and has the ability to teleport anywhere in that location - she was further entrusted with pieces of Azure to give to the chosen who could best her. Izanami is the wielder of the weapon Yasakani no Magatama a weapon that usually takes the shape of her crown. In its active form, she uses it to fight against opponents, creating complex and difficult to block attacks with its three segments. In gameplay, her Drive is Exodus Arc, which allows her to change Magatama's form to either fight at long or close-ranges, with the former sacrificing the ability to block. She also can create a barrier under her feet to temporarily float, which replaces her double jump command in gameplay, although the barrier permanently existed when she assisted Take-Mikazuchi in BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma. Otherwise, Izanami can generate large balls of blue fire, seemingly teleport, generate skulls and skeletons in battle, stop time, and has physical strength strong enough to impale her opponents with her bare hands. Although not immediately apparent, Izanami does have some weaknesses. Saya can stir up emotions and cause her to lose her composure, and she can be absorbed by others who have fragments of The Origin's soul, although she's shown to be able to do so herself, attempting to absorb Noel into herself before Ragna intervenes. Saya's body is also weak, and requires maintenance; even then, it is on the verge of failing, and Izanami can only possess adequate hosts. When Izanami possesses someone, their body will usually be destroyed in two days, and even Relius himself cannot make a vessel suitable for her]
Rin Tohsaka [Primary franchise: Fate/staynight] [Appearance: Rin is a young woman with aqua eyes and long wavy black hair in a two-side-up hairstyle, which consists of part of her being made into twin tails tied with black ribbons, while the majority hangs loose. During school, she wears the standard Homurahara uniform, which she sometimes accompanies with a long red coat. Her casual clothing consists of a red turtleneck with a notable white cross with two white dots on the upper left and right sides. She pairs this with a black skirt and long black stockings under brown leather flats. When she was young, she did her hair up in twin tails entirely, and her clothing consisted of a white shirt with a red necktie, a red skirt and long black socks, much like when she becomes older. In the fifth Holy Grail War, she prepared a plain skirt and shirt for Saber, though it was originally a birthday present from Kirei] [Personality: Rin is a perceptive, serious, resourceful, and very competitive person. Though she is widely admired at school as a prim and proper honor student, it is a front she puts up in order to prevent others from prying into her life. In private, she is notably loud, shrewd, stingy, and bossy but usually means well for those she cares about. She is known as a model student and idol of her school. Her manner of speech is often hostile and dismissive of other people, but deep down she has a caring, big-sisterly disposition. Her tendency of making trivial mistakes at the worst possible moment is a hereditary curse. Though she really is a lot nicer than she seems, she claims to always make her decisions based on cold, rational logic in the end. In her own words, it's "not a very cute personality". In fact, her choice in personal clothes is probably an overreaction to that. Despite claiming that she would do anything in order to win the Holy Grail War, no matter how underhanded, she has a deeply rooted sense of honor, seen refusing to dispose of Shirou despite numerous easy chances of doing so, simply because she owes him and deem disposing of him without clearing her debts to be cheap. In short, Rin is a tough, fiery, perceptive, judicious, mischievous, and considerably aggressive tsundere who shows both sides of the trope. During her childhood, she understood the Fourth Holy Grail War about as much as Shirou understands the Fifth, seemingly understanding while not actually comprehending it. She saw her father as a great magus who must be respected and loved, but failed to understand the negative aspect of his personality, the coldheartedness that accompanied such an ideal. If he had lived until Rin could actually understand his personality, it is likely that it would have greatly affected the development of her own personality. It is unknown if she would have opposed such inhumanity and left the path of a magus, or if she would have become a “perfect and coldhearted” magus like her father. Either fate for Rin would have been one far away from happiness. Due to Tokiomi's early and untimely death, she was not aware of the original goal of the Holy Grail War to open a “hole” beyond the World. For the sake of her deceased father and her family's name, Rin seeks to obtain the Holy Grail, though she has little personal desire for it. Unbeknownst to her sister Sakura, Rin feels guilty and believes that she has abandoned Sakura after she is adopted into the Matou household, so much the guilt was what driven her to revive Shirou, Sakura's target of affection, at the brink of death. While Rin eventually admits that she has always watched Sakura from afar, she never realized how much Sakura suffered under the Matou and fooled herself into thinking Sakura was happy to alleviate her own guilt. She spent just as much time quarrelling with Shirou as she did cooperating with him. She's a mischievous girl at heart, so she loves teasing serious people such as Shirou. However, Rin did want to kill him when she saw his Gradation Air in his shed, thinking that he lied to her. Although she claimed to be not interested in anyone, the Heaven's Feel scenario revealed that Rin has been attracted to Shirou after witnessing his stubborn attempts to finish a high jump that he had no chance of finishing when they were younger. Rin was very supportive of Shirou's relationship with Saber in the Fate route. In the Unlimited Blade Works, they became aware of their mutual crush and attraction which developed to love. In Heaven's Feel, Rin reveals her attraction to Shirou while giving advice for Sakura and their closeness makes Sakura jealous and resentful of Rin. Her hobbies include admiring jewels. Although wealthy from her family's magical patents, that were crested by Tokiomi, who developed a magic formula that simplified magic, however it is becoming obsolete making Rin receiving less money than before. She feels somewhat ashamed of having to rely on the work of previous generations.] [Abilities • Skills: Rin was born capable of manipulating all five great Elements, an extremely rare trait for a Magus. Her potential is such that she will eventually be considered as one of the top one hundred ranking magi throughout the entire history of the Mage's Association. Compared using simple numbers, someone with an abnormally high potential like Ciel is at one hundred, someone who is eternally at apprentice-level like Shirou is at ten, and Rin falls from seventy to one hundred. As the successor to the Tohsaka family, Rin excels in Conversion of power, which includes storage of Magical Energy in objects, typically jewels for Jewel Magecraft, as they are easy targets to transfer Magical Energy into due to being 'places' that easily store people's thoughts. Additionally, crystals that have been in the ground for a long time carry strong Nature Spirits. She uses them as disposable, limited-function Mystic Codes. Because the amount of Magical Energy a Magus can release at one time is restricted by bodily limitations, giving them unused excess of Magical Energy at the end of the day, Rin has been able to accumulate all of the Magical Energy generated by her body during her seventeen years of lifetime through jewel crystallization, using a syringe to draw out her blood and drip it onto jewels to accomplish the process. As with practicing of magecraft, charging these jewels has become a daily process for her turning them into powerful bullets. However, in the end, they are merely disposable items. Because their magecraft reduces expensive jewels to ash after a single use, the Tohsaka Magi are fated to be chronically afflicted with a lack of funds. When Rin's stored power is needed, she can utilize the jewels for an instantaneous release of A-rank magecraft capable of countering a spell from Caster's magecraft from the Age of Gods, or taking one of Berserker's lives by using five jewels. Their speed of release is great enough that it can match Caster's High-Speed Divine Words. Her most common offensive spell is a Finnish technique known as Gandr, which concentrates Magical Energy into Rin's forefinger, resulting in a hazy black orb to be subsequently fired like a bullet. Originally intended to be a Curse, Rin's variation on Gandr takes on an unusual, corporeal form. Additionally, Rin has bypassed any need for a verbal component to initiate this spell due to having inherited and infused Magic Crest of her family, and she can fire as many Gandr shots in an instant, even set up a barrier and rain them on an opponent if she so chooses. Since Rin's Gandr Shot was particularly violent, capable of punching through and disintegrating a large portion of a concrete wall with just a single shot, it could be considered on the level of Finn Shot, or Finn Gatling Gun. Rin knows the "popular spells", being able to make a Bounded Field the size of a classroom. Rin is also proficient with Reinforcement magecraft, allowing her to strengthen her legs so much that she can run over one hundred meters in less than seven seconds, fast enough to be perceived as a blur to a regular human. She is also able to use it on herself for a few seconds to deal critical damage to even a Servant like Medea with physical blows in a situation where Rin has her off-guard. She can also make use of one of her jewels for a large amount of protection, and by placing it on her stomach to form a protective cover, she can even last a long duration of time being crushed in Berserker's grip. With two gems protecting her, she can wade through the Mud of the Grail and wading through a lake of fire would be no problem. She can also use Healing Magecraft to a degree, curing a girl who had her Life Force drained by Rider, healing Shirou's dead nerves, and treating her own wound sustained from Kirei, but unable to heal the wound made from Saber running Shirou through. She can also repair Shirou's broken window, hide her presence, and has knowledge of runes. Rin practices pseudo-karate as a form of self-defense. Her instructor in martial arts is Kirei, and his teaching was responsible for the sequence of moves she used to corner Caster. Thanks to her combat expertise, she is able to throw a punch in 0.2 seconds that might have fractured Shirou's cheekbone. While statistically superior to Kirei Kotomine, he would win eighty percent of the time by psychologically exploiting her past traumas to keep her from fighting at her full potential. Even without such knowledge, Kirei would still have a substantial combat advantage over Rin due to possessing over ten years of experience as a professional killer of Magi. If Bazett Fraga McRemitz had been able to participate in the war, she would have ended up being a threat to Rin. List of spells and incantations Rin's glass repairing spell. Despite being Japanese, all of Rin's incantations are recited in German, because the first head of the family, Nagato Tohsaka, was a pupil of Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, hence why the family still uses German today. When Rin uses Jewel Magecraft, she uses incantations to designate the gemstone and effect to be activated. Abzug Bedienung Mittelstand: To eliminate Bounded Fields, notably Blood Fort Andromeda. She originally would have had possession of all the commercialized spiritual lands that brought in more money than most Second Owner families elsewhere, but Kirei's mismanagement as her legal guardian has caused the most valuable properties to have been lost to others. She still obtains royalties from magical patents held by the Tohsaka family,

Ryuji Sakamoto. Ann Takamaki. Ikaruga. Maguro Kurokami. Takuya Morooka. Rin Tohsaka. Hades: Izanami. Naomi Nakashima. Chaos. These were the names of the people you had to live with in an apartment during the winter. Pretty interesting. You had your own room, and so did the others. Right now the sky was a dusk blue.. and the lights of the city outside illuminated the surrounding area. The TV had been switched on; not out of entertainment to watch something, but as simple background noise. And currently.. Takuya was arguing with Chaos about how it's "not wrong to use the internet" to argue, with Chaos treating it as a high-stakes, socratic seminar. "It isn't wrong to use the internet for research, man.." Chaos replying within an instant, "False... the internet is privy to all misinformation, rendering a primitive location to gain knowledge for such research." "Anyone can be biased, and thus, you are wrong here, Takuya." Takuya replying with a more simple response, "Just find sources that aren't biased then.. I mean, you can't really find 'fully unbiased' sources but... can't you just, try to look for them?" Chaos looked as if he wanted to die.. And to that, Takuya said this. "Alright, fair." Meanwhile.. Maguro had been explaining to Rin, Ikaruga, and Izanami, (yes, THE Hades:Izanami) on why it's okay to love your sister.. however it was uh.. getting to a point. Hades: Izanami had been watching quietly. Her eyes though carried the fact she did not care. So, to make it seem as if she did care, she calmly said "I see." For each point Maguro makes. She really didn't care, seriously! While Ikaruga tried to patiently listen, her eyes became tightly shut as she looked like she wanted to unleash a Zekka Hoosen, however she too also said "I see" like Izanami.. "...I also see." And Rin.. Rin, similar to Chaos looked like she wanted to die, too. However, added on with the fact she also wants to kill Maguro, too. "Maguro. Please, for my own sanity, and your safety, please shut up.." Maguro raises an eyebrow, and flashes a smile. "Hm? But all I'm talking about is how much one should love their sister, no? Besides, it's not like you'll die just from copping a feel, haha!" Rin fired a stray Gandr in that instant. Said Gandr would hit the wall.. destroying the door of Chaos (which he also shares with Takuya and Maguro) room. Rin, realizing what she done would quickly apologize... "Ah! Sorry Chaos.. and Takuya.." "Oh, and Maguro, don't think that apology applies to you, either!" Maguro, now taking a mocking-sad tone had said this "Oh, Tohsaka, you wound me so.." While Ann and Ryuji were talking about how many people believe in the Phantom Thieves, with Naomi curiously listening. "Yo, Ann. Check this out.." Ryuji would show Ann his phone, showing the poll for "if you believe in the Phantom Thieves" created by the site owner (a.k.a Mishima) "It says 46.9% of the people on this site believe in us! That stuff we did in Mementos, and those Palaces.. it paid off!" Ann, sighing in relief said this as such, "Finally! Atleast these people know that there's other people out there willing to stop those who are corrupt, or exploit others." "If anything, I'm happy that more people believe in us.." She smiled, And Naomi asked a simple question, "Say, who are these Phantom Thieves?" And Ryuji, Ryuji stepped up to explain easily. "The Phantom Thieves are a group of people that take hearts.. not literally, but they take the hearts of shitty adults, you know? And I'd say they help those who are exploited by those shitty adults.. They make the shitty adults rethink, and all that stuff. Pretty good group if you ask me.." "Though, not a lot of people believe in us- I mean, them. Some people are skeptic of them, so, I guess they just prove their existence by stealing more corrupt hearts, you know?" Naomi, her eyes widening just a bit upon hearing the group being described wondered; could such people really exist? Those whom take hearts of the corrupt and reshape them so that they rethink their actions? Before she continued her thoughts, she just decided to nod. "They sound like.. good people, if they take down corrupt people." Ryuji, in conjunction agreeing with that, "Yeah, I know, right?" ..Anyways. This is quite the unique living situation.
