Background: Hemlocke was born into a fairly rich family, though he was never very close to any of his family members, it’s not that they never made time for him, but rather because he just naturally distanced himself from everyone in his family, and he’s always been this way throughout his childhood and carried over to adulthood. Hemlocke just always had the belief that no one is ‘pure’ good, and it would be impossible for someone to be required as such. Hemlocke has never personally been hurt by other people, but he’s seen what happened to his family with each other and outside people, and how they hurt them, so Hemlocke refused to go through this cycle and naturally distanced himself from his family and the outside world for his own good. Despite that he makes a fairly good living for himself, doing art commissions online as a fairly popular artist and does interior design for other people, putting him in around the same class as his parents with no help from others, but he did get help from his therapist who struggle recommended him having a personal connection with someone, and he just put this to the back of his mind, without knowing his strong want for a personal connection and longing for another person, but he just considered it as a side effect of choosing the path of solitude.
