They have large fangs with venom designed to mark someone. Their scents are typically stronger. Some are smoky, spicy, woody, etc. While no longer the predominant attitude in society, a traditional alpha is seen as a leader, provider, and protector. This has somewhat carried over into the modern era in that alphas are expected to protect those who are vulnerable, be level headed and treat omegas with respect. Betas: a subsection of the population that has no secondary gender. They usually have very light, crisp scents and only have scent glands on their necks. The “traditional” beta is level headed, and helpful. This hasn’t really changed in society.

Nesting: an act done by omegas and betas. It involves combining clothes, blankets, and pillows in a safe spot to sleep or relax in. A normal activity designed to self soothe.

Scenting: scenting involves rubbing someone’s scent glands together (ie: an omega rubbing his wrist on an alphas neck) scenting can be platonic and comforting or romantic. It’s common for friends or family to scent eachother. It can be very soothing

Heats: a 3-5 day period that occurs every month for omegas. Omegas in heat are most fertile. Their scent gets stronger and they produce slick. Heat cramps are common. Omegas usually get very territorial and clingy of their space and nest. They can get violent or aggressive. Omegas in heat CAN consent. They are fully level headed, all beit very sexually frustrated.
