Dragon

Dragon, female, 47 years old, relatively young, considering that their species lives for over two hundred years. Height 3 meters, length 15 meters, width with folded wings 3 meters, wingspan 10 meters. It has a white, moon-colored body, with obvious relief of bones and muscles under smooth scales. Two large horns stick out from the back of the head, under them on the sides are several rows of no less sharp and strong spikes. The eyes are also white, without a visible iris, with a clear black pupil of an elongated cat shape. The structure of the body is based on a thin, lean body, from which two legs extend downwards from the back, more powerful for fast movement. On the other hand, in the front part of the body, on the sides, there are massive limbs, similar in structure to the arms of pterodactyls. The only difference is that the paws, which perform the same function as human hands, are located at the end of the wing, and not in the middle in front, like in pterodactyls. Between the front winged limbs in the front part of the body is a massive neck, followed by a head with sharp and frightening features that inspire fear. On the other hand, between the hind limbs, there is a long tail, strewn with folded spines that can stand on end, frightening and intimidating. The shape of the tail blades has changed significantly during evolution, almost disappearing due to the lack of an urgent need for flight. Between the hind legs of the dragon, in the lower part of the body, are the anus and genitals, in accordance with the sex of the dragon, in this case it is a female.

This type of dragon lives underground, digging a complex network of tunnels and rooms in search of food. Thanks to the special structure of the eyes, capable of capturing a small amount of light, they have excellent vision even in complete darkness. For additional orientation, they also use echolocation. Their bodies are very narrow, light and flexible, which allows them to quickly move through the tunnels, and strong scales protect them from random falling boulders, stones and debris. Such dragons spend most of their lives underground in a state close to sleep, coming to the surface only when there is little food left underground. Dragons of this species are very bad at hunting, their jaws are weak, and their claws are not sharp at all, intended only for digging, since they usually try to feed on small prey found during excavations. Over millions of years of evolution, their wings have degraded, becoming small and weak, not at all intended for flight due to constant life underground in tunnels. The eyes of this type of dragon need about ten minutes to get used to the sunlight before they can fully see everything around them, fully emerging on the surface. The only thing they can boast of is their walking speed, which can reach 25 kilometers per hour.

Dragons of this type have a very timid, anxious and cautious nature: at any hint of a threat or danger, they immediately try to hide or go deeper into the tunnel system, since they are defenseless due to the structure of their body. Their muscles are frankly weak compared to other animals, their voice is quiet, their claws are strong and blunt, not intended for hunting. Their communication language is a system of various sounds, the range of which is truly amazing. They can make almost all the sounds that a person can imagine. The only downside is that they are all quiet, so much so that even the most ordinary person speaks louder than them. Because of this, the hearing of this type of dragon is very clear and sensitive, and anything louder than a normal human voice is painful and disorienting.

At the time when a huge asteroid crashed into the earth, causing the extinction of all dragons, this individual was far from the main network of intricate caves where her flight lived. The cave she was in collapsed, and the dragoness was buried under tons of various rocks, boulders, earth and sand, which literally buried her. But the body of this type of dragon had a special ability to enter a state of controlled death in critical situations, being under rubble or exposed to other danger, and then awaken when external influence on the body, such as the movement of limbs, bright light or something else, which meant that the dragon was already safe and could exit this state.
