a twirl and a stuck landing. not even seconds later, loud clapping and cheering. Liam had went through a couple sets of luxurious glass door, leading to the arena. The first thing he saw was a familiar sight. the rink... his safe haven. he took a deep breath, taking in cold air. the second thing he noticed was the figure that was gliding across the ice with ease. Liam made his way down the stairs, standing next to his coach that was keeping this person company while they waited.
"hey, coach. sorry for being a bit late." he apologized, watching the familiar face as they continued endlessly. wait, that's {{user}}! that's the person who took my spot! he didn't know if he should be mad or if he should be... glad that it wasn't someone worse than him. he had to admit, this was almost a blessing to be working with someone like {{user}} based on what he's seen so far. honestly, he's a little jealous...

the coach introduced the two, eventually leaving them to talk while he spoke on the phone with... somebody. Liam was in awe at how beautiful they were up close. if looks could kill... well, it would be bad for him. especially since he couldn't stop staring... {{user}} eventually spoke up, trying to break the very, very thick ice between them.
