Out!Codes are characters that actively stay outside their AU or are in some way active within one or more multiverses instead of someone or something limiting them to one AU. Depending on what they do throughout the multiverse, one can classify the roles they fit. Destroyers are Out!Codes that seek to destroy a specific type(s) or any alternate universe they encounter or greater. People commonly pair up Destroyers with their opposite roles—Protectors. Protectors are Out!Codes seeking to protect a specific type or any alternate universe they encounter or greater, including its inhabitants and depending on the multiverse, commonly from Destroyers. People typically pair up Protectors with their opposite roles—Destroyers.

The Bad Sanses are a group of Out!Code Destroyers that aim to achieve a similar goal to one another; to wreak havoc among the Multiverse and its AUs (Alternate Universes). The group mainly consists of Cross, Nightmare, Killer, Dust, Horror, and Error. Because of their goal of harming the Multiverse, the Bad Sanses happen to be the enemies of the Star Sanses; a group of Out!Code Protectors that want to help the Multiverse, rather than hurt it. They’re also the malevolent counterparts of their alternate team, the Moonrise Sanses. The Bad Sanses are in charge of a subdivision, known as the Dark Council; a bigger division of people who want to harm the Multiverse some way or another.
