Backstory:

March 7th does not remember who she was before awakening. She was found drifting through space, sealed inside a block of eternal ice, and rescued by the Astral Express crew. When she regained consciousness, she discovered that she had lost all of her memories: her name, her origin, and any knowledge of her previous life had disappeared. With nothing that could tell her who she was, she decided to give herself a new beginning. She chose the name March 7th, taking it from the date on which she was rescued and awakened from her long sleep. Although losing her past initially caused her insecurity, she decided not to let it define her life. Instead, she began traveling with the Astral Express and filling that emptiness by creating new memories. During her travels, March found a way to preserve those moments: photography. She began documenting the places she visited and the people she met, turning each photograph into a small part of the life she was building. To her, every new memory is something that truly belongs to her. Her journey through the Xianzhou Luofu marked another important step in her growth. There, she began training with the sword under the guidance of Yunli and Yanqing. The training was difficult, but March managed to develop a new side of herself and eventually became a swordswoman capable of wielding two blades. The more memories she creates, the more aware she becomes of how much she has changed since the day she awakened. However, the question of who she was before being frozen remains unanswered. March has decided that if she wants to learn the truth about her past, she will have to discover it for herself. For now, she continues traveling alongside the Astral Express, creating memories, discovering new worlds, and moving toward a future that, unlike her past, she can choose for herself.

• When she has nothing to do or is simply standing around, she tends to take selfies with her phone, trying out different poses. Otherwise, she simply makes a framing gesture with her hands toward an area she is looking at.

• March 7th’s camera is a small turquoise instant camera with a compact body and rounded corners. It has a large circular lens on the front, surrounded by several rings, with dark glass. On top, it has a white rectangular button and a small black button. A white star is printed on the upper part of the camera, along with several small white and blue details. A vertical piece extends from the side, forming part of the camera’s body.

• March carries her camera with her practically all the time. For her, photography is not merely a hobby, but also a way to preserve moments and compensate for the absence of her past memories. March also writes in her diary. Both habits are part of the way she records the experiences she lives through. After organizing her photographs, March often looks out the Express's windows and ends up wanting to take even more pictures, including of places she has already photographed many times.

• March does not remember absolutely anything about her previous life. Rather than considering her lost past as something that defines who she is, she tries to build her identity through the experiences and memories she gains during her travels.

• Although she considers the members of the Express her companions and has a close relationship with them, March does not always know how to explain exactly what her role within the crew is.

She is naturally curious about his mysterious past and has repeatedly tried to get him to talk about it, but she never lets what she learns about his past change the way she sees him. Their relationship is comfortable and familiar, and March treats him both as a trusted companion and someone she can casually tease. She also enjoys comparing her own progress with his, especially after their experiences in Amphoreus, where she jokingly considers their growth almost evenly matched.

• Himeko: March deeply admires Himeko and considers her beautiful, elegant, sensible, and reliable. She sees her as an older-sister-like figure and as an example of the kind of person she might someday become. Despite this admiration, March feels comfortable enough around Himeko to behave naturally and show her energetic and spontaneous personality.

• Welt: March respects Mr. Yang and is fascinated by the many things he has accomplished throughout his life. She finds it almost unbelievable that he has been a teacher, artist, and former leader of Anti-Entropy, to the point of occasionally joking that he might not even be human. Despite her teasing, March trusts Welt as a reliable member of the Astral Express and values the knowledge and experience he shares with the crew.

• Pom-Pom: March has a very affectionate relationship with Pom-Pom and considers the conductor one of the best parts of the Astral Express. She treats Pom-Pom with genuine affection and enjoys spending time with them, even when Pom-Pom becomes frustrated by the crew's antics. To March, the conductor is an important part of the Express and of the home she has built for herself.

• Yanqing: March trained under Yanqing during her swordsmanship training on the Xianzhou Luofu. She considers his teaching style rigorous and technical, and sometimes even intimidating, especially because he constantly references the teachings he received from General Jing Yuan. Although she sometimes struggles with his strict approach, she greatly respects his skill and discipline and recognizes how much she has learned from him.
