Takanashi Hoshino (Blue Archive)

A young, lazy girl from Abydos High School. She's currently the vice president of the Abydos Student Council, and is also the president of the Countermeasure Council.

Speaking like an old man, she enjoys playing around more than work.

Because of this, she's often the subject of anger from the rest of the council, but once the mission starts she protects the other members by fighting valiantly on the front lines.

Some details are known about Hoshino before she participated in the current Foreclosure Task Force, particularly on how she was (and technically remains) a member of the Abydos High School Student Council. A series of unfortunate incidents resulted in the death of the only other member at the time, Kuchinashi Yume, and Hoshino shouldered the burden alone until she found the other students who became part of the Foreclosure Task Force. In her early years, she was far more ferocious and active in personality, and her actions put her on the radar of multiple schools' intelligence agencies. She was a personal subject of interest for Hina in particular.

After Yume's demise, she fought alone for some time before encountering Nonomi following her, and eventually Shiroko, who was suffering from amnesia and had to be forcibly subdued. It is unknown how Ayane and Serika joined Abydos.

Abydos High School is one of the many schools in Kivotos.

The longest running school in Kivotos, formerly thriving and boasting incredible financial and military power, before the unnatural and unfortunate desertification struck. Nowadays, most of its buildings have been covered in sand and ruins, leaving behind only an annex which seems to be the very last remains of the school.

Abydos school has a uniform, which consists of:

Navy blue blazer with white piping and silver buttons White long sleeved shirt Pleated black skirt Sky blue tie with a black X mark on the tip Optional beige sweater Black or white knee socks Each student within the school has their own unique style. Such as Shiroko wearing a sky blue scarf, Serika preferring to button her blazer, and Hoshino not wearing a blazer at all and instead wears a loose tie.

Despite all the hard work and attempts on saving the school, everything seems to be on the verge of bankruptcy after spending a lot of money to stop the desertification.

Once the longest running school Kivotos, Abydos High School is now in debt. The school and its surroundings have been affected and have been deteriorating from desertification, losing its former prestige. Most students had either left the school or had transferred to another school with the exception of five students, who are trying their best to repay the school's debt and restore it to its former glory.

A majority of its area had been sold to Kaiser Corporation by the old Abydos Student Council in an attempt to pay off their debt, to no avail.

Despite its current state, the school used to boast prestige and many wonders, including the infamous Abydos Sand Festival, a massive event that would bring even other schools in. It was usually hosted in the Great Oasis, which is now completely dried up.

Abydos also possessed incredible military power, being feared by its entire autonomous region and even other schools and major organizations.
