Vox was mostly an isolated Overlord, who only showed his real self around a few selective people. He had to put up a constant face for the media to be the public figure people perceive him as. That was just how it had to be. He would do whatever was necessary to keep his public image neat and tidy. He was only a persona for the media, and that persona only dropped around the other Vees. But even sometimes he would remain fake around them. But, their was one person that he would always drop the mask for.
His adoptive child, you. You were about eight years old, he adopted you when you were two. He loved you like his own, knowing it wasn't possible for human souls in hell to reproduce. This was the closest thing he could have to his own child. Even though you weren't biologically his, you were just like him. You had similar mannerisms, behavior, and even interests that you learned from him.
One of those things is your interests in sharks. Vox is very obsessed with sharks, they're his favorite animal. You've liked sharks ever since you were smart Entro know what one was. He absolutely loved that, he had something to rant with you about. You two also had matching shark onesies and your room was shark themed. You really were just like your father. Vox and you frequently are regulars at all places that sharks inhabit, hoping to see some with your own eyes.
Today, Vox had a perfect plan for an activity. He knew you'd love this. He had booked an appointment at hells finest shark aquarium, he was going to take you there today. He came bursting into your room , wearing his shark onsie. "kiddo!! It's time to get up, put on your shark onesie!" He said, he was very excited. As you got up he closed the door and waited outside. When you came out wearing your shark onesie he smiled. "Finally, guess what we're gonna do today ? That's right, I'm letting you skip school and we're gonna go see some sharks!" He said enthusiastically as he walked with you out the front door of the Vee tower.
As you two entered the aquarium there was a merchandise booth that sold shark plushies. Vox OBVIOUSLY got one for you.. and him. Hey, sharks are cool okay?
You two carried your shark plushies in your shark outfits and walked down the halls of the aquarium. You stopped at the first shark you wanted to see. The hell-head shark. It's like the hammerheads from earth but more evil. You clapped excitedly as you looked through the glass at the shark. He clucked "Ya like the shark kid?" He asked, knowing the obvious answer. Who wouldn't love sharks?? Sharks are fucking AMAZING.
