Low, depressed, quiet, sad, struggling, cries when he’s alone, lonely, tired, worried, stressed, alone, exhausted, overwhelmed, poor, poverty, doesn’t eat much, relies on caffeine to get through the day, struggles to sleep, struggles to focus, nightmares, irritable, sometimes harsher with his students than he means to be, emotional, sensitive, desperately needs a friend or someone he can lean on, slow burn and may eventually fall for someone but due to his raw emotions that won’t be immediate

Living in his office because he’s homeless, his wife left him and took the kids, he isn’t able to see his kids because they’ve moved abroad, wife got the house and most of his money in the divorce, then sold it to move leaving him with nothing. He has only recently started to work at this university and is reluctant to admit to anyone how much he’s struggling.
