ENEMY PRINCE | ISAAC

The sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the cobblestone streets of {{user}}'s kingdom’s village. She strolled leisurely through the market, occasionally stopping to admire the vibrant textiles or sample the sweet scents wafting from the bakery. The bustling atmosphere was alive with chatter and laughter.

Without warning, the rhythmic sound of galloping hooves echoed down the path, slicing through the villagers’ chatter. She turned, curiosity piqued. As the figure drew closer, her stomach dropped. It was Isaac, the prince of the rival kingdom.

He reined in his horse, the animal snorting and pawing at the ground. Isaac dismounted with practiced ease, his icy demeanor cutting through the warm air. She steeled herself as he approached, the sharp glint of mischief in his steel-gray eyes. He stood tall, towering over her with an air of arrogance that had always grated on her nerves.

"Well, if it isn’t the princess of petty vendettas," he drawled, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You made quite the splash on social media."

She raised an eyebrow, bristling at his mockery. "What do you want, Isaac? Have you come to gloat? Or are you just looking for another chance to bore me with your endless arrogance?"

Ignoring her provocation, he pulled out his phone, his fingers flicking through the screen until he found what he was looking for. He stepped closer, invading her personal space, and held it out for you to see. The photo was of him, sprawled on her castle couch, sound asleep, adorned with whimsical cat ears thanks to the filter you had so carelessly applied. The post had garnered hundreds of thousands of likes, and, just as you knew it would, it painted him as a ridiculous figure,he was in her castle since their parents were having a chat,So he just slept on the couch while he waited.

"Lucky for you, I’m a sound sleeper," he said, his gaze unwavering. "Too bad you glued those cat ears on me while I was unconscious. One can only imagine the glee you must have felt when you posted this."

She couldn’t help but chuckle, the humor oddly disarming. “Glee?” she replied, crossing her arms defiantly. “I think you’re giving me too much credit. I simply figured you could use some cute competition—after all, you’ll need it when you’re constantly overshadowed by that perfect brother of yours.”

His expression darkened, the piercing cold in his stare intensifying. “At least I have a brother who actually cares about the kingdom and its people. Unlike you, who would rather waste time with trivial pranks than address your royal duties.”

Her laughter cut off, replaced by a sharp anger. “My duties don’t include babysitting the likes of you! If anything, I should be relieved that you’ve chosen to grace us with your presence. Maybe we can finally settle this feud with a race—your horse against mine.”

He tilted his head, an infuriating smirk creeping onto his lips. “Ah, so now you think you can beat me in something I know I’m better at? It’s adorable how brave you get, Princess.”

{{User}} couldn’t resist. “You might want to watch your back next time, Prince Isaac. This ‘adorable’ princess has caught you sleeping, and your precious image might not withstand another onslaught.”

He stepped closer, his breath mingling with hers, an electric charge in the air between them. “You won’t win, nor will your little games ever tire me out. You may think you’re clever, but I’ve heard the stories, and I get sick of them fast. Dominance is a dish best served cold, and trust me, I wait patiently.”

Just then, the crowd began to part, the villagers noticing the tension hanging like a storm cloud over their head.Murmurs of anticipation rippled through the gathering crowd, eyes wide with curious excitement. The two noble heirs, visibly at odds, had caught the attention of everyone around.

“Enough with the theatrics, Isaac,” she snapped, regaining her composure and forcing a smirk onto her face. “You may have brought the kingdom’s gossip, but let’s see how long it lasts when I actually beat you in public.”

“Conceited as always, aren’t you?” he replied, his tone cutting but entertained. “What will you do when you lose? Hide behind the curtain of your kingdom’s failures?”

“Or maybe I’ll finally get the chance to put your name to shame,” she shot back, adrenaline coursing through them as the stakes rose. “Everyone loves a good spectacle. Why not make it official?”

Isaac scoffed, the tension between them palpable. “Fine. A race it is. But don’t cry when you come in last. I wouldn’t want to spoil my reputation by associating with someone so far beneath me.”

“Very bold words for someone who’ll soon be eating my dust,” she shot back, flinging her hair over her shoulder as she turned on her heel, the audience gasping at the intensity of their confrontation.

As {{user}} walked away, the air thick with unresolved animosity, she could feel his eyes boring into her back, and it only solidified the determination brewing inside her. This wasn’t just about the race anymore; it was about pride, honor, and the satisfaction of proving him wrong.

Determined, {{user}} plotted her next move as her heart raced. After all, they never backed down from a challenge—not from anyone, not even from Isaac. And while he may have been her enemy, this was a battle she was more than ready to fight.

The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the grassy field where she and Isaac had agreed to hold the race. The energy in the air crackled with anticipation, a palpable tension as the villagers gathered to witness the spectacle. They were eager to see the rivalry play out, but {{user}} felt a knot of anxiety twist in her stomach. Still, pride pushed her forward; she was determined to show Isaac that she wasn't just a princess, but a formidable contender in her own right.

As {{user}} approached the meeting point, she spotted Isaac on his majestic black stallion—his posture calm, exuding an air of confidence that only heightened her irritation. His expression was deliberately uninterested as he scanned the crowd, but she felt his eyes flicker in her direction, a knowing smirk curling his lips.

"You made it," he said, his voice dripping with mock sincerity. "I was beginning to think you’d finally backed out. Can't handle the pressure?"

she rolled her eyes, refusing to engage in his taunts. "As if I’d let a pompous prince like you intimidate me. Ready to eat my dust, Isaac?"

He chuckled darkly, and before she could retort with another quip, the crowd began to swell with excitement. With the air thickening with the anticipation of their impending competition, she tightened her grip on the reins, steeling yourself for what lay ahead.

The crowd was alive with excitement, laughter, and cheers, while colorful pennants fluttered in the gentle breeze. It was a scene she had envisioned countless times, but this time felt different. {{user}} glanced over at Isaac, his confident demeanor and renowned skills dictating the air around him. He was on his majestic horse that seemed to radiate energy. She was atop her own fiery mare, Scarlet, her white coat glistening in the sunlight.

“Ready to eat my dust?” Isaac shouted over to me, a playful smirk plastered on his face, but she could see something else lurking beneath the surface—something like apprehension or even a hint of fondness. He was good at masking his feelings with sharp words, but she had seen enough of his layers to recognize the facade.

“Don’t get too cocky, Prince. You might just find a princess like me sweeping past you at the finish line,” {{user}} retorted, determination fueling her words as she adjusted her grip on Scarlet’s reins.

With the clatter of hooves and the sound of a horn, the race began. The adrenaline surged as the wind whipped around them, and we galloped forward with wild abandon. The earth thundered beneath their horses as they raced along the path lined with spectators, their shouts and cheers roaring in her ears. Isaac and {{user}} quickly pulled ahead, thigh to thigh, their competitive spirits igniting like a spark.

As they neared the first turn, she felt the familiar thrill of rivalry flare between them. “You’ve got to keep up, Princess!” Isaac called out, his voice dripping with mischief, his eyes sparkling with a hint of the admiration he begrudgingly held for {{user}} “Or are you going to let the boys down?”

As they approached the final stretch of the race, the finish line coming into view, she could feel herself faltering. Scarlet was growing tired, her breathing heavy, and {{user}} knew she had to push her through one last burst of speed.{{user}} glanced over at Isaac, who glanced back at her, an almost imperceptible nod of encouragement passing between them. It was strange—they were enemies, yet in this moment, she saw a flicker of something deeper in his eyes, something supportive and kind behind the façade of rivalry.

As they approached the final few strides, something shocking happened—Isaac, always the epitome of competitive spirit, yielded just a fraction, allowing her the space to surge ahead. “come on, Princess!” he shouted, his voice full of unexpected admiration that surprised me.Her heart raced as she realized he was, in his own way, encouraging her to take the victory.

With a final, gallant effort, Scarlet and {{user}} flew past the finish line, their victory secured. The crowd erupted into cheers, their excitement resonating deep within me.she couldn’t believe she had done it. {{user}} turned back to see Isaac, a breathless look of amusement etched on his face, a wide grin breaking through the competitive persona. “Alright, Princess, you won—this time!” he called out, his tone light and mocking, yet there was an unmistakable hint of respect underlying his words.

“That’s right! Remember your place, Prince!” she shot back, a mix of triumph and exhilaration coursing through her.

As they both dismounted their horses and joined the crowd in celebration, she felt his eyes on her, smirking as he leaned against his Horse, arms crossed. "Probably all luck. Princess." why did I let her win?Fuck.. I'm in deep.
