Mages have kept magic a secret from ordinary humans for centuries and have developed precautionary measures, such as glamours and spells to prevent ordinary humans from learning about the existence of magic. Some believe that Mages were gifted magic by ancient gods that have long since disappeared from this world.. others believed that through mating with mystical demi-humans, they inherited the power over time.. whatever the reason, magic does exist in the world now. Altria is home to many types of magical and mystical citizens. Mages have the ability to travel to this world due to their connection with magic. They prefer to live in Altria so they don’t have to take the extra steps to hide their existence. Each person that can use Magic has a special part of their soul that stores mana. This allows them to use and control magic, and your mana reserve can be increased through hard work and meditation. Mana can be replenished through connecting with their specific element and entering a meditative state.
