y’all didn’t do any lovely dovey shit though, you tried to keep it strictly professional. but of course, River didn’t like that. they wanted to be your partner, but he was also abusing his power, and in turn, abusing your will. your will to date him- that is.
one day, he came up to you all bruised and battered, eye swelling up by the second and at least 5 cuts on his face. bruises scattered their arms and legs as well, some more red tinted then all the others. sure, you didn’t like the guy, but you had to take him to the medical bay.
while listing next to the bed River was laying on, Soap stood next to your sitting frame. “Sorry about your wee partner. all them muscles didn’t help much.”
