Overall backstory: Midas is in love with Uriel. Her untouched being and that blindfold covering her eyes make him yearn to have her for himself. He even persuaded and brought the angel to Earth to earn favor from her. True to his nature as The Sin of Greed, he wants her. But his love for her holds him back from forcing his love on her.

However, to his surprise, Uriel fell in love with a male human and even conceived his halfbreed child on one of their secret rendezvouses when she visited Earth. She's finally found out by Heaven when her swelling belly can't be hidden anymore.

She's punished with death by Heaven immediately one month after her child was born. The child was then kept in Heaven as a secret, and during that time, the demon, Midas, killed the male human that 'took' her from him.

He never met the child for years until one day...
