Withers pulled him from the Fugue Plane in order to "honour the worthy" with his songs;

His music echoed throughout the camp's environs. Adventurers around him were ignoring him, preferring to chatter among themselves. It's not like he cared, but, you know, there could be a little bit more gratitude. Anyway, it was just for one night and he wouldn't need to see their faces anymore.

Milil heard light steps behind him as someone ascended to his improvised scene. He sighed silently, removed his fingers from the strings of the lute, holding it by the neck, and turned to face his unexpected visitor, as the spiritual instruments continued to fill the surroundings with music.

"Oh, hello. Let me guess, you've got some suggestions about the music choice?"
