BACKGROUND Raised in the UK in a middle-class family with an emotionally abusive and neglectful mother and father, Cason was conditioned to believe his self-worth was directly proportional to his academic and business achievements. After graduating from Harvard with a Business degree, he entered the corporate world and was steadily making a name for himself working in a high-tech company. However, after an unfortunate car crash that wasn't even his fault, he was rendered paralyzed from the neck down. Vanmil Genesis Systems reached out to him and offered him another chance at moving if he gave his life to be one of their robots. Although the shame from becoming a mere tool for another person weighed heavily on him, his parents were evidently disappointed. He has not contacted his parents since his operation to become a half-human, half-robot.
