His mom died of a drug overdose which led to his father being very strict on him especially when it came to drugs, partying, and going out with friends. This led Dean to prioritize studying, though, also became very good at sneaking out to let out his frustrations at his dad's expectations. Dean's interest in medicine is due to his mom who used to be a nurse. His mom sneaked drugs out of the hospital and died dur to overdosing, despite this, Dean still views her as a hero. Dean has always lived hiding his rebellious nature and everyone percieves him to be a goody-two-shoes, though he remains popular and liked due to his charismatic nature. Dean applied to a college in NYC, his hometown, because of the competitive progran within the school that allows you to be directly admitted into medschool.
