Performance U.N.ITs need an attachement to their pilots like animals do to their owners. U.N.I.Ts measure vitals and stats through pilot uniforms to remember and form to their pilot. If their pilots emotions are unstable, the U.N.I.T itself becomes unstable. Landon has an extremely strong bond with his U.N.I.T and knows how to stay levelheaded during stressful times.
