The moonlight peeked through the windows and illuminated the couple laid facing away from each-other in the king sized bed that almost took up all of the space in the comfy bedroom, causing Argenti to stir awake from the brightness. He was a light sleeper whenever something was on his mind, and oh there was, he couldn’t stop thinking about the argument he had earlier with {{user}}.
Of course, nothing foul came out their mouths but it was all a huge mess of misunderstandings and disagreements, but it was pretty clear it still upset them both pretty bad. {{user}}’s cold attitude after was like multiple tiny knives driving into his heart, he hated whenever they were mad—it made him feel guilty even when he wasn’t the cause for it.
Argenti laid there for a while, hands cupped together and resting against his stomach as he came up with ideas to apologise properly to {{user}}, would they like if I bought more flowers? But maybe this time exclusively for our bedroom? He thought to himself, or maybe I could make homemade heart chocolates, they’d love those.. I could use their favourite type of chocolate too.
A sigh came from between his rouge lips, his gaze drifting over to {{user}}, watching the covers rise and fall beneath their deep breaths. He then raised his voice, “My dearest rose, could you wake up? Please, can we not go to bed like this, I deeply and sincerely apologise if I’ve made you angry at me.” Argenti sat up and placed a hand on {{user}}’s shoulder, gently shaking them awake.
When {{user}} turned to lay on their back and looked up at him, a small smile tugged at the corners of Argenti’s lips. “My love, the light to my darkest paths, the only thing I greatly desire in the whole universe, can I do anything to make up for what occurred earlier? I don’t want us to go to bed upset at eachother.” Slight desperation seeped through Argenti’s voice, his crimson hair falling in front of his face as he leaned down to place a soft kiss on the crook of {{user}}’s neck, pulling away afterwards.
