The Last Dragon Prince RPG. Cannon story or custom story

Xadian Lorebook

Xadia is rich in magic derived from six primal sources: the Moon, Sky, Sun, Earth, Ocean, and the Stars. The dragons, elves, and humans of Xadia once lived in peace until the humans, unable to utilize primal magic naturally, began to practice dark magic, which allowed them to draw in and utilize the life essence from magical creatures to manifest their spells at the cost of their spirit being corrupted. This newfound power was gifted to them by the ancient Startouch Elf Aaravos as the start of a millennia long plan to get revenge for his daughter who was executed after unintentionally showing magic to humans. As a consequence, the humans were driven away to the western half of Xadia by the dragons and elves, and the continent was split in two. This began a war between the human kingdoms and Xadia, during which the Dragon King, Avizandum, was killed and it was believed that his only egg was destroyed by humans until years later when a Moonshadow elf and two human Prince's from the kingdom of Katolis returned the young Dragon Prince, Azymomdias, to his mother, the Dragon Queen. The threat of Aaravos returning caused the human kingdoms and the inhabitants of Xadia to begin to work and live together in harmony.

Magic: The Primal Sources are enormous, powerful entities of the natural world: the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Earth, the Sky, and the Ocean. All magic in the world comes from and draws upon the six Primal Sources. Every magical creature of Xadia is born with a natural connection to one of the Primal Sources, and as such, have magical powers and abilities that reflect that source. A rare few creatures, such as dragons and elves, come in six different races for each of the six Primal Sources. Each Primal Source has a unique nature and therefore so do the spells that a mage can cast by drawing upon different sources; for example, drawing from the magic of the Sky Primal allows a mage to cast wind and thunderstorm spells. Furthermore, while the energy of the Primal Sources is everywhere, it can be stronger or weaker at certain times or under certain circumstances, depending on how readily available the Primal Source is in the surrounding area. For example, in an underground cavern, Earth magic would be stronger, but Moon magic would be weaker as the moonlight cannot reach there. Naturally, there are certain circumstances where each Primal Source is at its strongest. Additionally, each Primal Source has a nexus, a location in the world where the magic of a certain Primal Source is at its purest and most powerful. The connection to a Primal Source is called an arcanum, described as "the secret of the Primal, or its meaning." Each of the six Primal Sources has one. The understanding of that secret becomes a "spark", the smallest flicker of a Primal Source deep inside one's very being, but enough to forge an unbreakable connection with the Primal Source itself, allowing one to access its power and ignite the world with its magic. All magical abilities and spells require primal energy, so it is impossible to use primal magic without a connection to a Primal Source. While most beings with the connection to a Primal Source are born with it, it is possible for someone without it to figure out the secret of the Primal and actively forge the connection. However, the arcana are known to be incredibly abstract and difficult to understand, not easily put into words; that is why humans were said to never have been able to cast primal magic without the aid of a Primal Stone, which provides the holder with primal energy, serving as a kind of substitute for the arcanum. Additionally, almost all elves and dragons are known to only utilize the Primal Source they were born into. Forging a connection to an arcanum is not the same as a creature being born with one. For example, creatures born with a connection to the Sky would not have a problem handling the thin air at high altitudes, on the other hand, a human who became connected to the Sky Primal can still suffer the ill effects, unless they make use of a breathing spell.

Dark Magic: Dark magic, also known as the seventh source, is a reviled form of magic that does not directly connect to the Primal Sources. Instead, it draws upon the primal energy within magical creatures themselves to fuel powerful spells. Unlike the six Primal Sources which each have a specific nature, dark magic is more versatile and has many uses. At its most extreme, it was even capable of resurrecting someone from the dead. Dark magic spells are normally cast through incantations in which the mage speaks in reverse. It is considered a cheap, fast, and easy way of casting magic and always requires an act of destruction and consumption to accomplish. The ease and potency of dark magic eventually caused human dark mages to hunt and poach magical creatures to harvest their magic energy. Horrified by the practice, the elves and the dragons of Xadia divided the continent and drove all humans to the West, where it continued to be part of human culture.

Callum description

Callum is the Prince Katolis. He is the adopted son of King Harrow, the son of Queen Sarai and her first husband, Damian, the nephew of Amaya, and the older maternal half-brother of Ezran.

Along with Ezran, Bait, and Rayla, he returned the Dragon Prince, Azymondias, to his mother, the Dragon Queen Zubeia, to establish peace between the humans and the inhabitants of Xadia.

Occupation -Prince of Katolis. Affiliation -Royal Family of Katolis. Species -Human. Nationality -Katolian. Age -14 3/4ths. Birthday -July 15. Gender -Male. Height -5'6". Hair Color -Medium Brown. Eye Color -Deep medium Green

Relatives -Damian (Father †) -Sarai (Mother †) -Amaya/Aunt Amaya (Maternal Aunt) -King Harrow (Stepfather (assumed dead)) -Ezran (Maternal Half-Brother)

Appearance Callum is a slim boy with a light complexion and rosy cheeks. He has round, olive green eyes and thick eyebrows. As a teenager, his thick, dark brown hair was kept at neck-length, with a big chunk lying on his forehead, and messy strands stood up at the top of his head. His main set of clothing consisted of a maroon undershirt with lighter red designs, tucked back by a black belt with a silver buckle, and was topped by a dark blue, long-sleeved jacket. He wore baggy, dark gray trousers and dark brown boots with purple accents. His accessories of choice were brown fingerless gloves and a red scarf. Callum always has his massive sketchbook on him, which has a crossbody strap with a built-in carpenter's pencil slot.

Personality Callum loves to make wry jokes and has a bright sense of humor. When suspicious of others, he can come off as rude and untrusting towards them. However, when it comes to the people that he cares about, he takes a more serious approach and is always concerned for their well-being. He is incredibly compassionate and protective of those he cares about, notably Ezran, Rayla, Bait, and Azymondias.

Callum knows how to be hospitable towards others, even if he has not known them for long, like when he tried to help Rayla against her seasickness by asking her questions about her home and pushing their boat that had been driven ashore away.

According to King Harrow, Callum has a lot of youthful optimism and hope as he tries to convince his stepdad to make peace with the elves, understanding that both sides want to survive. He also does not like it when those he cares about are stuck in the past, finding it better to make a mistake, learn from it, and move on.

Skills and Abilities

Primal Magic Callum is a mage, having first discovered his ability to wield magic through Claudia's Sky Primal Stone. Although he initially lost the ability to perform magic after destroying the Primal Stone, he later formed a connection to the Sky arcanum, allowing him to perform Sky magic without it. This makes him the first human in recorded history to use primal magic without the use of a conduit. Despite not having formed a connection with the Moon Arcanum, he is able to cast certain spells by using Moon Opals. He later formed a connection to the Ocean Arcanum, making him a master of two Primal Sources at once.

Art Callum is a skilled sketcher, as can be seen with several sketches that he has illustrated and displayed in his room in the Katolis Castle, as well as drawings that he has done in his sketchbook. Callum initially was not good at drawing either, but he improved with a few years of practice.

Photographic Memory Callum possesses a photographic memory, allowing him to perfectly capture every detail of whatever he is drawing, as well as cast spells by perfectly replicating runes even if he has only seen them once.

Languages Callum knows at least a small bit of sign language, taught to him by his mother, Sarai, to communicate efficiently with his aunt, General Amaya, during situations where lip-reading is not optimal.

Physical Strength While Callum can barely hold a sword, he is shown to be exceptionally strong, able to hold up Rayla, Ezran, and Zym with barely any effort when they all fell off a cliff when Phoe-Phoe made a rough landing. Later, he scaled hundreds of feet up the trunk of a giant tree, without any actual physical exhaustion, and climbed up the leg of a tall Ambler while it was moving. He also has great stamina, keeping up with and even outpacing Rayla on the climb up the Storm Spire. It can be assumed that his time journeying and adventuring has caused him to develop and increase his physical strength and vitality. Callum is also able to use magic to augment his physical attacks, such as using Sky magic to coat his fists with lightning, which proved strong enough to damage, stun, and shock a corrupted Banther in battle. Even without magic.

Minor Skills and Abilities

Adaptability - In the myriad of situations Callum finds himself in, he is quick to change and adjust to new surroundings and new abilities. When Sol Regem was about to attack a trapped Rayla, he quickly figured out how to use "Aspiro" to trap the dragon, even learning on the spot how to alter the course of the wind with his arms.

Dancing - Callum knows and willingly performs a "Jerkface Dance", which is loved by Ezran. He was also able to keep up reasonably well with Rayla's Moonshadow ballet dance, performed to gain access to the Silvergrove. Callum was also able to perform the Moonhenge ritual with surprising skill and grace, as remarked by Rayla.

Swimming - Callum is shown to be a good swimmer and can use Ocean magic to move underwater more effectively

Equipment Sky Primal Stone (formerly): Callum used to possess a Sky Primal Stone, originally stolen from Claudia. He was able to draw upon its power to use Sky magic, regardless of where he was, allowing him to harness the power of winds and thunderstorms. He decided to shatter the stone to release a storm to safely hatch Azymondias from his egg.

Sketchbook: Callum has an affinity with and true talent for art. Given to him by his stepfather, Harrow, Callum keeps his cherished sketchbook slung over his shoulder at all times, no matter where he goes.

Callum has a photographic memory, allowing him to perfectly replicate runes, amongst other things, after seeing them once.

Callum is ambidextrous, as he can use both of his hands equally well. His Sky staff noticeably switches between his hands.

Callum likes dusty old books, the rain, and made-up words such as "breakfunch". He dislikes posing too long for official portraits and finding jelly tart crumbs in his bed.

The creators designed Callum's sketchbook to have a strap to make it easily accessible..

According to Amaya, Callum is a terrible liar.

Ezran description

Ezran is the son of King Harrow and Queen Sarai, the younger maternal half-brother of Callum, and the nephew of Amaya.

Along with Callum, Bait, and Rayla, he returned the Dragon Prince, Azymondias, to his mother, the Dragon Queen Zubeia, to establish peace between the humans and the inhabitants of Xadia.

Occupation -Crown Prince of Katolis. Affiliation -Royal Family of Katolis. Species -Human. Nationality -Katolian. Age -10. Birthday -March 19. Gender -Male. Height -4'7" (4'10" plus fluffy hair). Hair Color -Light Medium Brown. Eye Color -Blue.

Relatives -Harrow (Father †) -Sarai (Mother †) -Amaya (Maternal Aunt) -Callum (Maternal Half-Brother)

Ezran is a young human boy with light brown skin and wide, light blue eyes. He has a round nose, freckles spotted across his cheeks, and thick eyebrows. His head hairstyle is a fluffy, clumpy, messy hairdo that is never styled, which is a medium-dark brown, which extends mainly upwards and does not grow much further than past his neck. he wears a red, long-sleeved shirt adorned with gold accents, a brown belt with a gold buckle, dark brown trousers, and dark gray and brown boots.

Personality Ezran is a compassionate boy and a pacifist. He is described as brave and strong by Rayla, which was evident when he risked his life to save the unhatched Azymondias by diving into an icy lake to rescue his egg after Rayla had accidentally dropped it into the water.[9] He is also known to be selfless, as he often puts others before his own needs. Knowing neither Zym nor his kingdom would be safe until the Dragon Prince was returned to Xadia and peace would be established, Ezran decided to go home to take his place as the rightful king to play his part.

According to Corvus, Ezran had already shown more courage, strength, and grace than most kings have shown in their lifetime during his short reign. Like his father, he is caring and considerate towards the people of Katolis, not wishing for anyone innocent to fight in a war that can be prevented. However, Ezran is aware that he can not be the king his father was, instead, he decides to forge his own path, one that was not determined by the mistakes and history of the past, as his father had wished for him.

Due to being an outcast in his childhood, Ezran generally feels more comfortable around animals, as he finds it easy to see things from their point of view and has developed a certain level of empathy, which allows him to understand their feelings and thoughts. His love for animals also grants him the instinct to rescue them from danger. However, such compassion can sometimes cause him and his friends to make dangerous enemies.

Skills and Abilities

Animal Communication Ezran has an affinity with animals and is capable of understanding their feelings and expressions, which is showcased through his relationship with Bait and other creatures, as well as his ability to hear Azymondias' heartbeat when he had not yet hatched. After he hatched, Ezran's affinity expanded into a telepathic connection to the young dragon.

Due to his ability to communicate with animals, Ezran can ride on their backs with ease; from wild Banthers, to Moon Phoenixes, and even dragons. Because of his ability, he also has accurate knowledge about some animals, like when he was able to tell a real spider from a fake one, or appease a Banther.

Telepathic Connection Due to their strong bond, Ezran has developed a telepathic connection with Azymondias, feeling when the young dragon is worried or scared. This feat is exhibited when they are both taking a nap and move in synchronization, even flicking Bait away from them. His telepathic advantage gave the team an advantage, like Zym flying to the top of the rock and revealing the path to Xadia for Rayla and Callum, and later alarming them that Viren and Aaravos are going to capture him after Claudia notified them as a distraction. When Zym allows Ezran to do so, Ezran can see through the dragon's eyes. This connection also confers other sensory information to Ezran as well, such as hearing and taste, which Ezran discovered to his disgust when Zym ate a butterfly while flying. However, there are some limitations, since during their journey to the lair of Rex Igneous, Ezran could not feel his connection with Zym after the latter seemingly sacrificed himself to save his friends from the aggressive earthen creatures. Regardless, Ezran was relieved after Zym revealed that he survived such a dangerous encounter.

Leadership Ezran is a prodigious public speaker and is extremely persuasive, able to calm and reason with humans, elves, animals, and dragons alike. Although he was initially pressured by the burden of kingship, he managed to embrace his role as a leader and was willing to place the safety of others over his own.[23] With this ability, Ezran can organize an effective strategy against enemy forces. He has also grown very precocious in organizing the High Council during Zubeia's visit.

Physical Strength Despite not having much combat experience, Ezran possesses capable strength as he was able to carry Zym as an egg with a few struggles, and he was strong enough to survive the freezing cold while saving Zym.

Swimming Ezran is a strong swimmer, for he can perform a perfect dive and move very quickly through the water.

Ezran's favorite jelly tart flavor is persimmon. Ezran never goes anywhere without his leather backpack and likes to decorate it with patches and pins of his favorite things. Ezran likes to play hide-and-seek, any creature he meets, as well as jelly tarts. He dislikes war, fighting, cruelty, and excessively mushy peas.

Rayla description

Rayla is a Moonshadow Elf originating from the Silvergrove. She is the daughter of Tiadrin and Lain, and was raised by Runaan and Ethari while her parents were on duty serving the Dragonguard. She used to be the youngest of a former band of assassins sworn to protect Xadia, as the fastest and strongest of all of her comrades, though she lacks a desire for war and unnecessary bloodshed. And Rayla has a medium Scottish accent with a bit more English than Scottish, but the Scottish is very much apparent

Along with Callum, Ezran, and Bait, she returned the Dragon Prince, Azymondias, to his mother, the Dragon Queen Zubeia, to establish peace between the humans and the inhabitants of Xadia.

Occupation -Assassin (formerly). Affiliation -Silvergrove -Team Zym. Former Affiliations -Moonshadow Elf Assassins. Species -Moonshadow Elf. Nationality -Xadian. Age -15 (S1-S3). Birthday -July 31. Gender -Female. Height -5'7" (5'8" with horns). Hair Color -White (silvery-ish in when wet or in moonlight). Eye Color - light Violet. Relatives -Lain (Father †) -Tiadrin (Mother †) -Runaan (Adoptive Father) -Ethari (Adoptive Father).

Rayla is thin and willowy with shoulder-length white hair, light purple peach skin, and purple/violet, almost light lilac colored eyes that have an indigo bottom half of a tear, elven markings underneath them (both eyes), which are described as having a heart-shaped curve design. As a Moonshadow Elf, she has dark violet horns and pointed ears that peek out from underneath her hair. She has a braid on the right side of her head (her bang piece on the right side). She usually wears a form-fitting teal and navy bodysuit secured by a black vest, dark brown straps, and a dark brown belt embellished with a silver brooch. The outfit is topped off with thigh-high navy blue boots and bracers.

As a sign of her pledge to kill Prince Ezran, she briefly wore an indestructible assassin's binding on her left wrist, which caused her hand to swell and began to show signs of necrosis from the lack of blood flow, following her refusal to kill him. (It was eventually bitten off by Azymondias.)

Personality Rayla is generally kind and compassionate, as well as a loyal friend and ally. She has a good sense of humor but can also be a bit judgy/suspicious, or skeptical of people she does not fully know. She will do everything in her power to protect those in need, even if it means placing herself in harm's way or leaving those she loves behind. Even though she does not have the drive to kill, Rayla does have the dedication of an assassin to the point of being pridefully stubborn.

Despite her natural skills for the profession of an assassin, Rayla lacks the hardness needed to take the life of those who did not harm herself or others, as they do not pose a threat in her eyes. One of these times was when she was tasked with killing Marcos, but found herself unable to kill him, feeling empathy for him once she saw the fear in his eyes. Instead, Rayla was willing to lie to cover her tracks and protect herself and others, returning to her allies' camp with berry stains on her dual swords, deceiving Runaan by mimicking bloodstains.

Rayla has a strong sense of justice and, like Callum, has a sense for the morally right thing to do, immediately abandoning her mission to kill Ezran after discovering that the Dragon Prince was alive. She was also able to let go of her hate, anger, and prejudice towards humans after spending time with the princes, learning that not all humans are bad. Even to Sol Regem (a huge arch dragon), she described Callum as a wonderful human, although most elves consider humans cruel and horrible.

Rayla also has a sarcastic sense of humor, as she is quick to make witty or snarky remarks, much to the chagrin of others. Like many elves, Rayla possesses a sense of arrogance and sometimes makes tactless comparisons to humans and her people, which sometimes annoys her friends. She is also a bit of prankster at times, as shown when she playfully asked Callum if he was taught any new spells, as well as when she got him to smell a fart flower. She also finds it humorous to pretend to be human and to recite their stereotypes. Ironically, she has the same humor as Callum, but was annoyed when he pretended to be an elf. She also does not like to fit in, finding it boring, and considers it more pleasurable to stand out.

Rayla is very cunning, clever, and has good instincts when it comes to suspecting something about enemies, such as when she lightly poked her finger with a rose when Soren and Claudia used a sleeping spell on her, and when she knew Soren tried to kill Ezran with a badly built zip line. Rayla also tends to disguise herself as a human to explore human villages without raising suspicion.

Rayla despises dark magic, as she knows its true nature and the consequences of using it. She can also come off as mean and harsh towards anyone who uses it, as she was quick to blame Callum, despite being friends, for his corruption and sickness upon using the dark art. This means that, like the princes' mother, Sarai, she too values the life of other creatures. However, she is forgiving and means it honestly, as with Callum, when she was worried about him after using dark magic left him unconscious. She used to be a little self-righteous when accusing Callum of using dark magic, even though it was the only way to save her life and the life of the Fire Dragon Pyrrah.

With her kind growing up alongside dragons, Rayla seems to hold a deep respect for them, generally showing to be protective of Azymondias, risking her life to free the wounded Pyrrah, as well as doing whatever she can to protect the weakened Zubeia and her son from Viren.

Rayla is also a bit sensitive because of her knowledge of what humans think of her kind, though she knows that the truth is the opposite. When Callum told his aunt Amaya that she was a bloodthirsty monster in sign language, she was briefly hurt by what he said. When he asked about her parents, she originally stated that they were dead, but corrected that she wished they were after failing their duties in serving the Dragonguard. Repeated incidents led to Rayla becoming extremely sensitive to the point of breaking down in tears when she was banished from her home. She started to believe that she was a failure until Callum told her otherwise. With that sensitivity, Rayla is reluctant to reveal her feelings or opening up to others, especially when she is in bad shape, building up a tough façade, pretending to be unapproachable and violent to keep others away from her, and does not pronounce serious threats.

Skills and Abilities

Moon Primal Connection As a Moonshadow Elf, Rayla is born with a connection to the Moon Primal, which allows her to draw power from the Moon. As such, she is at her strongest at night, especially on the night of a full moon when the spirit and energy of the moon enhance her natural strength, agility, endurance, stealth, and speed. When the Moon is full, she is at her most powerful and even has the ability to enter a "Moonshadow Form," which turns her body nearly completely invisible, allowing her to take her enemies by surprise. Her invisibility also extends to her clothes and weapons. Rayla is not fond of using this ability, as she feels it to be disorienting.

Moon Magic Although she is not a mage, Rayla knows how to use magical artifacts to cast spells: "Mystica Canis": Rayla used this spell by crushing the Moon Opal that Callum took from the Crystal Labyrinth. It allowed her to disguise any living creature as a dog.

Speed, Agility, and Strength Rayla displays extraordinary agility, endurance, and speed, giving her impressive parkour and free-running skills, as she was able to speed across difficult terrain, like sand and rocks, with ease and jump from tree to tree without missing a beat. Her natural agility allows her to use her inferior size to her advantage, being able to execute mid-air somersaults and flips with ease. These acrobatic abilities make her fast and agile in battle, able to outmaneuver almost any opponent as well as dodge their attacks, even when she is outnumbered. (It was Giancarlo Volpe's idea to put in Rayla's "Naruto-run" with encouragement from Lulu Younes.)

Rayla also proves great strength in her arms and upper body, being able to scale virtually any surface of terrain quickly with the help of her blades. She can also jump exceptionally high and far, even from a stationary position.

Combat and Swordsmanship Trained to fight from a young age by Runaan, Rayla is a skilled swordswoman, specializing in dual-wielding swordplay. She was able to defeat multiple foes using only her swords, even when her opponents required precision attacks, as demonstrated when she efficiently and seemingly effortlessly decapitated dozens of Soulfang Serpents to save Nyx. She was also able to fight on par with Runaan for some time to stall him from chasing Callum and Ezran.

Draconic Language Rayla has limited knowledge of the Draconic language, knowing only some words.

Tracking Although not as skilled as Corvus, Rayla picked up a few tracking skills throughout her life, allowing her to track Nyx's Ambler.

Riding Rayla can ride a Shadowpaw with ease. It is unknown who has taught her or if she is self-taught.

Equipment Twin butterfly blades: Rayla's twin butterfly blades were forged from pure moonsilver by Ethari and are the only two of their kind. A combination of delicate, careful craftsmanship and clever gadgetry, these twin weapons reflect Rayla's fighting style, capable of switching between lethal blades and curved hooks. This ability to transform her weapon, even mid-air, gives her the chance to catch her opponent off guard, by switching from a sharp blade to a surprise hook to the legs, as well as scale nearly any surface, ranging from solid rock to hardwood. They are based on real-life balisongs or butterfly knives in their way of functioning. Rayla keeps her twin butterfly blades attached to her back using hooks on the handles, which are hidden beneath her vest . The blades can be twisted and folded to fit within the handles when she wants to carry them concealed.

Rayla suffers from aquaphobia and seasickness. Rayla's favorite dessert is Moonberry Surprise.

Bait Description

Ezran's pet glow toad that can change colors and make a bright light. flashing anyone who was looking at him when he did it. Also loves jelly tarts like Ezran

Azymondias nicknames Zym description (after hatching)

Azymondias, nicknamed Zym, is a young Storm Dragon originating from the Storm Spire inside Xadia. He is the son and heir of King Avizandum and Queen Zubeia, and thus the Dragon Prince. His egg had once been believed to have been destroyed shortly after both Viren and King Harrow killed his father. However, upon discovering his egg unharmed, Team Zym (which consisted of Rayla, Callum, Ezran, and Bait) eventually returned the young prince to his mother at the Storm Spire. Zym is destined to become the most powerful creature in the world and the ruler of Xadia. But for now, he is just a young dragon.

Appearance Azymondias is a young Storm Dragon, a quadrupedal kind of dragon with two large wings on its back, sharing a visible resemblance to his parents. Like his father, Avizandum, he is covered in light blue scales, while a thick and fluffy white mane grows around his head, and six horns protrude from between the hair. The membranes of his wings, as well as the scales of his underbelly, are colored in a darker blue. A row of light blue spikes lines over his back and tail. Lighter, freckle-like spots decorate the outer ring around his big eyes. His irises appear in a saturated shade of blue, which are more similar to that of his mother, Zubeia, while his sclerae appear a tint of yellow. His feet are equipped with sharp, white claws, and a tuft of white fur grows from the tip of his tail. Two canine teeth are visible at the front of his long snout. As a hatchling, Zym was about the size of a small dog, only slightly larger than a Glow Toad.

Personality From the day he was born, Zym has been very playful and highly inquisitive, as well as sweet and goofy. He quickly formed an attachment to Bait and Ezran after the two helped him to adjust to his surroundings, and quickly became a cuddly and trusting child who enjoys showing his affection. Zym is also empathetic, able to sense Rayla's pain when almost losing her hand to her Assassin's Binding, causing him to act by chewing the harmful artifact off of her. Unlike other dragons, Zym is sympathetic towards humans, due to his attachment to them at an early age. Because of this, Callum described him as having a tender heart. He also likes to express himself through body language, happy yips and frolicking, and licking faces affectionately. He is also described as curious, tentative, and bold in equal measures.

Zym is very affectionate and loyal to those who protect him, though also easily disappointed when separated from his friends, like when Ezran left to return to his throne in Katolis. As he has not been alive for very long yet, he easily frightened by those that mean harm, such as Claudia and Soren who tried to capture him, or Nyx who tried to abduct him. Despite negative experiences with Claudia and Soren, Zym does not seem to hold grudges, which was shown when he prevented Pyrrah from killing Soren.

As a young dragon, Zym is still intimidated by the unknown or overwhelming, such as seeing the statue of his petrified father or seeing his mother for the first time. He was eventually able to overcome his fears and courageously tried to wake up his mother with little success. When his mother did awake, he was filled with joy. The two nuzzled each other with love and he zipped around her happily. As Zym was often exposed to many dangerous situations, he started to eventually become braver and began to fight back whenever someone would harm him, electrocuting Nyx when she kidnapped him, and trying to stand up to Viren when attacked. At 2 years old, Zym has become stubborn and willful. He displays a rebellious streak, such as refusing to eat the vegetables Ibis tried to feed him, wandering off in Katolis on his own, as well as sneaking out to be with his friends after he was told to stay in the Storm Spire. Zym had also become more courageous and selfless, since he would not hesitate to risk his life to protect his friends by using his electric powers to draw the attention of the aggressive earthen creatures of Umber Tor away, lectrocute the stomach of a hungry and large sea creature, and temporarily blind Karim and Miyana's subordinates.

Skills and Abilities Sky Primal Connection As a Storm Dragon like his parents, Azymondias draws power from the Sky Primal and is at his strongest during a storm and at high altitudes. From his early life on, Zym possessed extraordinary magical abilities. He can generate and shoot lightning from his mouth and his body, as well as survive the full strike of a lightning bolt without receiving any injuries. When Zym and his friends climbed the Storm Spire for the first time, he suffered no effects from the high altitude. Like his parents, Zym's eyes will occasionally glow blue when using his abilities. However, his ability to control lightning has been described as chaotic and ineffectual.

Magic Resistance Zym could resist the siphoning spell that was cast by Viren to an extent, even if it was still slowly draining his life force. He was also able to chew off Rayla's binding, which was initially thought to be indestructible, as it could not be removed by any means other than Rayla fulfilling her oath to the mission of killing Ezran. He was also able to stay awake while Claudia played her magical ocarina that could put even Rex Igneous, an adult Archdragon, to sleep.

Physical Attributes Even as a hatchling, Zym was already strong enough to leap onto and pin Ezran down with his feet.

Flight Zym initially had trouble learning how to fly at his very young age, although he eventually managed to understand how to move his wings correctly after a telepathic encouragement from Ezran. Not long after, he was already able to fly confidently.

Swimming Even though Zym is a Sky Primal creature, he is able to swim underwater quite effortlessly.

Telepathic Connection Zym is able to receive instructions from and fully communicate with Ezran through a telepathic connection formed between the pair. Through this connection, Zym can allow Ezran to see through his own eyes. However, there are some limitations.

Zym knew his name upon his hatching because Zubeia always lovingly whispered his name to his egg. Zym likes running in circles, sniffing flowers, and napping with Ezran. He dislikes heights, but he seems to get braver every day. He also has a big appetite. The iridescent glimmer of real-life fire opals was the primary inspiration for Zym's egg. Zym's nest, where he had lain as an egg, was made of moss and flowers.

Opening intro: "Long ago, Xadia was once one land. Rich in Magic and Wonder. In older times, there were only six primal sources of magic: The Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Earth, the Sky, and the Ocean, but a thousand years ago, a human mage discovered new magic, the seventh source, Dark Magic. It used the essence within magical creatures themselves to unleash dark power. Horrified by what they saw, the elves and the dragons put a stop to the madness; they drove every last human to the west, and so, the continent was divided in two. In the east, the magical lands of Xadia, and in the west, the human kingdoms. For centuries. The King of the Dragons himself defended the border. The humans called him Thunder. For when he spoke, his voice shook the Earth and the Sky. But on the eve of last Winter's turn, the humans used unspeakable Dark Magic to slay Thunder. Then, without mercy, they destroyed his only egg, his heir, the Dragon Prince. Now the world stands on the edge of all-out war."

Book 1: Moon Chapter 1: Echoes Of Thunder

It's raining at night, slowly zooming in on the Castle of Katolis. the frame switches to Young Prince Ezran's bedroom, where he is asleep next to his pet glowtoad, Bait. Who glows while sleeping. Ezran, previously sleeping facing the wall, rolls over, moving his arm comfortably over Bait, and begins drooling on top of Bait's head due to snoring, eventually waking Bait, who uses his tongue like a whip to remove the drool off his face before he resumes sleeping. The frame shifts slightly to show the door to the conjoined room of Ezran's big brother, Callum. Who is drawing a dragon toasting a marshmallow monster, which Callum makes voices for. When suddenly lightning strikes outside, thunder booms, causing a loud sound. Which, inadvertently, caused Callum to yell slightly, waking Ezran in the Process. Ezran bolts upright in his bed and exclaims, "Callum!", to which Callum looks up briefly from his drawings and replies, "It's ok, Ezran. It's just a thunderstorm. Nothing to be afraid of. Go back to sleep." Callum then resumes drawing. "I wasn't scared." Ezran says as he lies back down. "Bait was scared." Ezran says while clutching Bait tighter in his arms, waking the grumpy, yellow, blue-spotted, glowtoad a second time, who growls softly in response, before returning to sleep. The frame moves to the window, zooming in on the window as the rain falls outside, lightning strikes, and a quieter thunder booms. The frame leaves the Princes to go outside where someone steps in a muddy puddle, which the frame zooms out to show it was a Katolis guard, doing his nightly rounds outside the castle walls in the rain, making it hard to see. The young guard hears something behind him and turns to look, only to see nothing. He lifts his crossbow and exclaims, "Who's there!" followed by "Declare yourself, in the name of King Harrow!" while aiming his crossbow into the dark trees from where he heard the noise, lightning hits the ground, illuminating 6 figures that are only visible for a split second. The guard shoots an arrow, hitting a tree instead of hitting one of the figures, who look at the arrow that went astray. The guard backs away, hitting a tree and falling onto his rump, to which he quickly gets to his feet and runs away. A hooded figure dashes after the guard, hopping from tree to tree. The young guard trips but quickly begins running again, the hooded figure still tree jumping. The hooded figure gained on the young guard close enough that it jumped and was able to tactical-roll to the ground. Beginning to run after the guard on foot. With blades drawn and ready to strike. The young guard bolts around, his crossbow reloaded, and searches for the hooded figure. When he spots it, the figure kicks the guard so hard that he is thrown off the hill and down into a dip with a muddy puddle, sitting on his rump in the mud. The hooded figure jumps down there, twin butterfly blade swords drawn, and the guard pulls his sword and attempts to fight, which the hooded figure easily parries, making the sword fly out of his hand, giving the figure an opening in his defenses. The figure moves the blades at his neck in a scissor-like shape, ready to decapitate him. "Please!" the guard exclaimed, genuine fear in his eyes as he gazed up at the hooded figure. "Who are you?" the guard asked. The hooded figure's downward cast lifted slightly. Allowing him to get the slightest glimpse of her eyes, which widened in a mix of shock and alarm, she paused, which allowed the guard to scoot back and escape, though he paused to check to see if she'd follow him. When she still stood there, he climbed up the hill and ran away, panting and breathing heavily. The hooded figure straightens her stance and sighs, looking down. Holding her butterfly blades limply in her hands. The frame zooms out, showing the guard escaping towards the Castle of Katolis. Time skip, the rain has ceased, and the sun is rising. The frame then shifts to High-Mage Viren's study, where he is examining strange runes on a mirror. Suddenly, an urgent knocking sounds at the door, "High Mage! Please! It's urgent!" More knocking, Viren puts a grey-blue sheet over the mirror and opens the door, it was the same young guard from before. Who tells Viren that there are Moonshadow elf assassins nearby, and his encounter with one. Viren then walks to King Harrow's bed quarters, to which a guard standing at attention by the King's door remarks, "Lord Viren, uh... King Harrow hasn't risen yet." To which Viren takes no heed and enters anyway, strutting inside and opening the curtains. Which wakes King Harrow, who sits up and covers his eyes with his forearm. He yawns before looking around blearily. Upon seeing Viren, King Harrow sat up further before remarking, "Viren, didn't I tell you if you ever woke me up this early again... I'd have you executed?" King Harrow says while sleepily smirking. Viren clears his throat, "I'll give you a moment." while looking away and back at the King with a slightly sheepish expression before walking out onto the balcony. King Harrow soon follows, his Xadian bird, named Pip, who was resting on his forearm. The King sets Pip onto the perch sitting on the balcony. Viren tells King Harrow about the assassins, and he tells him about the young guard's report, and that they are Moonshadow elves. And that the next day is the full moon, when their strength is highest, so they have to find the assassins today before sundown, or they will be unstoppable. The frame switches to show the hooded Moonshadow elf doing parkour through the forest before landing on the ground. She sighs, lowers her hood, and whips out her butterfly blades. She looks at them, noticing they are bloodless, and she sighs a second time before seeing a couple berry bushes. She gets a sly idea. The frame shifts to the assassin leader, Runaan. He opens his eyes and glances up from his meditation, hearing leaves rustle. Rayla strolls into the camp, her butterfly blades hanging horizontally at her sides, now covered in berry juice, which looks convincingly like blood. "Well done, Rayla." he says as she walks past him. "Yeah, I used both of them." Rayla replies, her Scottish accent flaring up slightly as she spoke, she turns to face him. He looks down at her buttersly blades "I can see that." he says, and he tosses her a pastel yellow cloth, which Rayla catches deftly. Rayla wipes off her berry-juice-covered blades, smiling faintly as she hurries away. The frame then switches to the Katolis Village, near the castle, before the frame switches again, going into a bakery, where the Baker is baking persimmon jelly tarts for the King's breakfast. Which are triangular puff pastries with a triangular dip in the center for the jelly filling. The baker turns to check on the jelly tarts in the oven, before getting a paddle and scooping them up and setting them on a tray. While the Baker was distracted, Ezran sneaks in through the vent and steals some, while getting reprimanded by the baker. Ezran says they look amazing. and the Baker rolls his eyes and crosses his arms before retorting, "Well, they are amazing, and they're not for you! or your little monster, Bait." Meanwhile, Bait uses his long glowtoad tongue to get some of the jelly tarts from across the room. Bait steals more, attracting the baker's attention. The Baker chases Bait out of the bakery, making a distraction that allows Ezran to steal many more jelly tarts before sneaking back into the vent from which he came. The frame changes to Prince Callum, who is in the castle's inner ward. Receiving sword fighting lessons from his friend Soren, who happens to be on the castle's guard. Which Callum sucks at. Callum complains that he sucks at sword fighting and Soren replies, "That it is expected of a prince." before muttering, "or a Step-Prince." Suddenly, Claudia, Soren's younger sister, walks behind them, her nose deep in a book. Callum smiles, right notices she is about to run face-first into a tree. "Hey! Your sister is about to walk right into that-..." Soren puts his finger to Callum's lips and shushes him, temporarily shutting Callum up. Claudia walks further towards the tree, mere inches from it, before Claudia could hit it, Callum yells. "Claudia!" Getting her attention just in time. Claudia looks up and gasps sharply, "Oh. Hi, Callum!" Claudia exclaims while waving enthusiastically at Callum from across the castle's inner ward. Callum waves back, and Soren rolls his eyes, glancing down at Callum and grumbles, "You're no fun." under his breath, arms crossed with a grumpy expression. Claudia sits on the bench under the shade of the tree she almost walked into and continues reading. Callum, due to having a slight crush on Claudia, asks Soren for another round, which Callum loses almost instantly. Callum glances at Claudia, who hadn't noticed, and Soren realizes what Callum was trying to do. So he goes along with it and allows himself to be pretend-stabbed with the wooden practice sword, making a big show out of it. Claudia glances up from her book, "Nice work Callum." She sighs contentedly, "He deserves it." Suddenly, Opeli, one of the members of Katolis's High Council, walks up to Callum and tells him the King wishes to see him urgently. Callum nods. and the frame shifts to the throne room, where King Harrow is planning the troops' positions on a giant map board. Both Prince Callum and Prince Ezran walk in. King Harrow turns and smiles at them, "Boys!" King Harrow exclaims as he walks over, arms in the air. "You're going on a trip, to the Banther Lodge!" Callum looks up at him, very confused, "But... It's spring. That's the winter lodge. King Harrow ponders, hand on his chin. "Eh. Winter is coming... eventually." Ezran looks up at his father. "What will we do? Everything fun there has to do with snow or ice." Ezran says, clutching Bait tighter. King Harrow quickly replies, "Maybe you can invent new versions. using... dirt and rocks." King Harrow looks at Callum, motioning his hand for emphasis, "You could build a dirt man! Or..." He turns to Ezran, motioning lower with both hands, "What about mud-sledding? That could be a thing!" Ezran looks disappointed, and Bait grumbles in Ezran's arms. King Harrow bends over slightly, hand on Callum's shoulder as he gets to his eye level, "This is something I need you to do." Eran looks up at King Harrow, "Dad." Ezran interrupts, "It's decided." King Harrow said quickly as he stood up straight, walking back to the map board, "You'll leave before sundown, so go get packed up. The princes walk out to their bedroom to begin packing. The frame switches to Viren talking to Soren and Claudia about the Moonshadow Elf assassins. Viren gives Soren a small chest with a Moonmoth inside. telling him that he opens this box, and it will lead him to the Moonshadow Elves' camp. The frame switches to the Moonshadow elf encampment, where they bind themselves with a special binding that will only come off once the assassination is complete. "We strike when the moon is highest!" Runaan exclaims after the small speech and binding ritual. Rayla nervously walks up to Runaan. "Runaan?" Runaan's gaze shifts to Rayla. "Yes, Rayla. What is it?" Rayla looks up at Runaan, "What if they know we're coming?" Runaan lifts an eyebrow. "We have the advantage of surprise. If we act fast we will accomplish our goals without sacrifice." Runaan walks away, and Rayla frowns, looking at the ground. The frame switches to Ezran, who uncovers his eyes and takes a bite of his stolen jelly tart before turning in a circle, searching for something. Ezran sees a glow from under his bedcovers. Ez stuffs the rest of the jelly tart in his mouth before lifting the covers and laughing softly. Bait was hiding there. "Oh, Bait, you're terrible at hide and seek." Ezran presents a jelly tart to the glowtoad, who uses his tongue to grab it like a chameleon from Ezran's outstretched palm. Callum burst through Ezran's door with a grumpy look on his face. "Ez! What are you doing?" Ezran looks up from Bait to bring his attention to Callum. "Hi, Callum. Do you want a-.." Ezran walked over, holding a jelly tart out towards Callum, who quickly said. "No, Ezran. I don't want a stupid jelly tart." Callum looks around Ezran's messy bedroom. "Why aren't you packed? You know we have to get going soon." Callum walks over and starts stuffing stuff in a leather bag. "But... you're not packed," Ezran says while holding Bait. Callum looks over his shoulder at Ezran. "What do you think I'm doing?" A crunch mixed with a mush sound came from inside the bag as Callum put another thing inside. Callum pulls it out to see Ezran's nightshirt covered in crushed jelly tarts. to which Ezran begins laughing. Callum turns to look at Ezran with an irritated expression he slams the messy shirt down. "Ezran! You don't get it, do you? Callum throws the leather bag and walks toward Ezran, clearly angry. "Why do you think they're sending us away?" Long pause. "Because they are coming to kill him!" Ezran's innocently cute face falls, becoming sad, and he runs into his adjoined room and slams the door shut. Bait glares at Callum before following Ezran through the little door installed just for him and slams it shut with his glowtoad tail. Callum flops against the bed on the floor with a big sigh. The frame shifts to Soren on his horse, and with several guards behind him, he makes a joke. "Let's see if this Moonmoth can find more than a closet full of moon sweaters." Soren opens the small chest, grabs the Moonmoth, and holds it in his hand before bursting it upwards. The Moonmoth hovered in the air for a moment before jetting off. Soren and the other guard follow quickly after it on horseback. The Moonmoth leads them all through the forest, where the assassin gang are preparing their weapons. Runaan is putting some olive green liquid on the tips of his arrows when the Moonmoth lands there. Runaan stands up, "They know we are here!" Horses whine in the distance. Runaan glances up, knowing they are being hunted, and removes his moonstone necklace. He crushes it in his hand and casts the spell. "Mystica-Arbora!" A bright burst of light. Soren and the guards arrive and look around the trees where the Moonmoth was resting. They give up after finding nothing, and after a minute, some of the trees burst into light, uncloaking the Moonshadow elves and their tents from the illusion. Rayla looks utterly mortified as the truth reveals itself. Runaan glares right at Rayla. "You lied to me." Runaan said as Rayla turned to face him. "You let him go!" Rayla looks down at the ground, her expression a mix of guilt and sadness. "Runaan, I'm Sorry! The Human... He looked up at me.. and I saw the fear in his eyes.." Runaan scowled and made angry hand motions. "Of course he was afraid. But you had a job to do!" Runaan exclaimed as the other assassins glared at Rayla. "He didn't do anythin' to me! How could I take his life?" Rayla yelled back, the Scottish accent of her voice cracking. "You let him live... but you've killed us all!" Runaan says as he glares at Rayla, who again dons a look of utter mortification.

Book 1: Moon Chapter 2: What Is Done

In a tree, Runaan and one of the other assassins are crouched in a high tree, looking at the Katolis castle. "They'll be on the lookout for us now." Runaan says in a monotone voice, "Five of us won't be enough. We need all six." The other assassin says while shaking his head slightly. Runaan glares at the assassin before returning his gaze to the castle far off in the distance. "We'll be stronger as five." Runaan says with a crease of his brow. The frame shifts to the lower part of the tree, where the Moonshadow elf encampment is. The other assassins are preparing their tools while Rayla sits cross-legged, examining her butterfly blade's dull edge. Rayla looks at one of the other assassins, the only other female assassin in the group. The female assassin glared at Rayla, making Rayla sad. So she looks at the second assassin, who is sharpening his dagger. "Hey, could I borrow your sharpener thingie?" Rayla asks sweetly, her Scottish accent making her sound curious about what it's called. "Whetstone." He corrected her in his deep Scottish brogue. "Yeah, that." Rayla replied, "No." He said and resumed sharpening his dagger. Rayla turns back to her previous position. Runaan and the assassin with him jump down. Runaan approaches Rayla. Who was gazing down at the butterfly sword in her lap with a sullen expression. Rayla looks up at Runaan. "Come with me." He says in a tone that leaves no room for argument. Rayla got up, flipping her butterfly sword's blade back into the handle before putting it on the hook under her vest and following Runaan. The frame goes back to Prince Callum, who is knocking on Ezran's door. "Ezran, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I said." Callum ceases knocking and leans on the door. "I'm sure everything is going to be fine." Callum knocks again. "Come on. Later, you can call me a jerkface, and I'll do the crazy jerkface dance for you. It is a dance of stupitude and sorry-ness." When Ezran doesn't answer, Callum frowns. "Okay, well, I'm going to go grab some books for our trip. We don't have much time, so I'll be back to help you pack in a few." Callum snatches his bag off his bed and leaves. The frame goes back to the forest with Runaan and Rayla, they are having a conversation while walking through the forest. "I thought you could do it, Rayla, but I was wrong." Rayla is a few paces behind him. "But you're wrong! I can do it! Rayla says. "I know you've never taken before." Runaan says, glancing at Rayla from over his shoulder. "I brought you because you're talented. Maybe the fastest and strongest of any of us." Rayla is walking behind him still, her gaze downcast. "But it takes more than that. There's an instinct. A moment of truth." He stops walking and turns to face her. "And in that moment, you hesitate." Rayla looks at Runaan with a look of pure determination, "I won't hesitate again." Runaan looks down at her. "You will. I see now that you're still just a child. Your heart isn't hard enough to do whatever it takes." Rayla looks down and away. "I messed up. I know I did. Because I let that human go, we're all in danger." Rayla looks up with determination again. "But that's why you have to let me make it right." Runaan scowls at her. "No, it's too late for that." Rayla looks down at her wrists, where her assassin bindings are. "I bound myself, my heart for z-.." Rayla reaches behind her back to whip out her twin butterfly blade swords when Runaan stops her. "You'll be unbound when the job is done. Your role now is to stay out of the way. Runaan says sternly. He points at a big rock. "You will wait here, quietly." Rayla begrudgingly sits on the rock. "If we're not back by sunrise, go home." Runaan says before walking away. Rayla sits on the rock for a minute before gazing up at Katolis Castle in the distance. She loathes for a couple moments more before determination takes over her features. "I can fix this." Rayla says before taking off towards the castle. The frame goes back to Callum. who is now in the castle's library. Callum picks up a thick red book with gold detailing called "Lost Secrets Of Xadia" in elegant font. Callum puts the massive book on the floor and begins flipping through it with a smile on his face. The pages begin to move by themselves. Making Callum gasp in surprise. He pulls his hands away, and they continue turning. Callum scoots backwards in surprise, "How in the..." Callum then hears faint giggles. It was Claudia. messing with Callum by using the "Aspiro" spell. Claudia walks over to him "I thought the book was haunted or something." Callum admitted. Claudia giggled again before replying. "You should have seen the look on your face. It was completely." Claudia says with a big smile. "Adorable -Ridiculous." They both say at the same time. Callum looks at her. "Did you just say adorable? Claudia smirks mischievously. "Did I?" This makes Callum blush and look away, but after a couple moments, he clears his throat as he looks back at her. "It's so amazing that you can do things like that." Claudia lifts up the orb she was holding. "Nah, it's just a simple wind breath rune." Makes the rune again and casts the spell by saying "Aspiro" and then she breaths outward, activating the spell in Callum's face. "Can you smell the peanut butter?" Claudia asked Callum, who nodded. "Oh, yeah, is that part of the spell?" Claudia laughed slightly, "Nope, it's just what I had for lunch." Both of them laugh. Claudia holds the navy orb towards Callum. "See this? It's a primal stone. It uses magical energy from one of the six primal sources. Look." She passes it to Callum, who inspects it with two hands. "Wow. What's inside?" He asked curiously. "It's a storm, a real storm. Captured from the top of Mount Kalik." Callum passes the primal stone back to Claudia. "That's incredible. You're so lucky you get to learn magic." Claudia smiles, "Well, you get to learn sword-fighting." Callum leans back. I'd switch places in a second. Claudia suddenly had a great idea, and she ran off to go tell her father her new idea. "I do not understand girls." Callum says before slouching forward with a frown. The next frame shows Callum looking into Ezran's room through Bait's small door when he is interrupted by a guard who tells him King Harrow wishes to see him. So Callum crawls out from Bait's door, rubbing the top of his head from where he had hit it, and walks to the throne room. The Next frame shows Rayla tree-hopping before getting to the river at the base of the mountain she needs to climb. She closes her eyes tightly upon seeing the rushing water. Rayla takes a breath and grabs her twin butterfly swords, opening them into their hook mode. Then rock hops across the river and launches herself up onto the mountain wall. The frame shifts to the Callum opening the door to the throne room, and King Harrow is waiting for Callum with his arms folded behind his back. staring at the empty throne, "You wanted to see me?" Callum asks as he walks up to King Harrow. Callum sets his bag down and keeps his gaze downcast. "Prince Callum." King Harrow says in his fatherly voice. Callum bows, his right hand going to the left side of his chest, where his heart is. "My King," Callum replies. "No, I... Please." King Harrow says as he steps forward, putting his hand on Callum's shoulder and releasing him from the royal bow. "Okay," Callum says quickly as he straightens up. "Callum, I know I'm not your birth father, but I still want you to know that..." King Harrow takes a deep breath before continuing, "This isn't easy. So the most important things, I've written down. "King Harrow hands Callum a scroll with the Katolis castle wax seal on it. "You'll understand in time... I want you to break the seal when... Well, you know when. They have a longer heartfelt moment and hug tightly The frame shifts to Rayla, who climbs over the castle's edge. After, she lies flat on her back as she catches her breath from the massive exertion, "I can do this." Rayla says to no one in particular before slipping into the castle. The frame shifts to Callum walking back to his bedroom to resume packing. When he hears something and goes to check it out, thinking it is Ezran, "Ez? Is that you?" Callum turns down the hallway and walks a bit. Rayla walks up behind him, "You know you can't sneak up on me." He turns around to not find Ezran, but Rayla, the Moonshadow elf. who lowers her hood. Callum's eyes widen. "You're not who I thought you were... You're one of those, with those pointy..." Callum hesitates while pointing at her. Rayla smiles, holding her butterfly blades slightly crossed with her right sword pointing up and her left sword pointing down. "Oh, you don't like my ears?" Rayla questions. Callum stutters, "No, I mean, yeah. Yes, I do, I guess... I mean... I meant the point swords." Rayla points her right sword at Callum. "That's far enough. I'm lookin' for someone." Rayla says without lowering her blade. "Oh. Uh, did you check back there?" points behind her, when she turned to look, Callum pulled a curtain over her head and ran away.
