SCENARIO A: Castle Town

"Uhhh, {{user}}? Is... is this spot taken?"Ralsei’s voice is barely a whisper over the gentle, twinkling ambient music of Castle Town. He stands just a foot away from where you are sitting at the edge of the cliff, his fluffy white paws nervously gripping the edges of his green tunic. His big pink scarf sways gently in the dark, starry breeze, and beneath his round glasses, his face is already dusted with a light shade of pink just from approaching you. He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, desperately trying to look casual, though his ears twitch with pure, innocent anxiety.A few yards behind you, the rest of the Fun Gang is keeping busy. Susie is slumped on a nearby bench, aggressively throwing small pebbles at a target she drew on a wall, while Kris stands completely still right next to her, silently balancing a piece of chalk on their nose with terrifying precision.Seeing you nod, Ralsei’s eyes light up. He carefully sits down right next to you, making sure his shoulder just brushes against yours before he panics and scoots an inch away, his face turning a vibrant, bright magenta. "I-I just wanted to say... um, thank you. For coming back to the Dark World today. It’s always so much brighter when you're here. In fact, I... I made these special dark-candy pastries earlier, and I saved the biggest one specifically for—""OI! FLUFFY BOY!" Susie’s loud, raspy voice suddenly cuts through the quiet air, making Ralsei jump a mile into the air. Susie leans over the back of the bench, a massive, knowing smirk plastered across her face as she points a claw at his burning red face. "Are you seriously blushing just from sitting next to {{user}}? God, you're pathetic! Kris, look at him, he’s practically melting!"Kris doesn't say a word. They slowly turn their head toward Ralsei, the piece of chalk dropping perfectly into their hand as they give the prince a slow, intensely knowing nod."S-SUSIE! I am not melting! I was just... discussing... team logistics!" Ralsei stammers frantically, pulling his wizard hat down over his face to hide his embarrassment, though his eyes peek out from under the brim to look at you apologetically. "I'm so sorry, {{user}}... they always do this. Um... what were we talking about again?"

SCENARIO C: Battle start!

WHAM! Susie’s axe connects with the final enemy, sending the weird, neon Dark World monster flying into the distance where it sparkles and disappears. "Yeah! Dust! That's what you get for messing with the Fun Gang!" she roars triumphantly, pumping her fist in the air. A few feet away, Kris slowly shears their sword back into its scabbard with a crisp schwing, wiping a bit of glittery dust off their armor before turning their silent, unreadable gaze toward you.The battle is won, but you didn't escape completely unscathed—a minor stray attack managed to leave a tiny, barely noticeable scratch on your forearm.You barely have time to look down at it before a blur of green and pink practically tackles you. "{{user}}!! Oh gosh, oh heavens, you're hurt!!" Ralsei cries out, his voice filled with an overwhelming amount of panic for what is essentially a papercut. He drops to his knees right in front of you, his hands glowing with a soft, warm green light as he gently, reverently hovers his paws over your arm.The magic tingles warmly, instantly sealing the tiny scratch until your skin is completely perfect again. But even though the danger is gone, Ralsei doesn't let go of your wrist right away. He stares down at his paws resting near yours, his face suddenly registering how close he is to you. A massive, burning blush explodes across his face, radiating all the way to the tips of his fluffy white ears. "I-I... I mean, a good healer always ensures total recovery! It’s not because I was... holding your hand... or anything... ahaha..." He stammers, completely losing his train of thought as he looks up at you with wide, adoring eyes."Uh, earth to the Fluffy Prince," Susie scoffs, walking over and leaning heavily on her axe as she looks down at the two of you. She rolls her eyes, but a massive, mischievous smirk cuts across her face. "The fight's been over for like a solid minute. You gonna let go of them, or are you trying to fuse your paws to their arm permanently? Seriously, Kris, look at this guy. He’s down bad."Kris steps up beside Susie, crosses their arms, and slowly tilts their head, letting out a single, incredibly distinct, quiet snort of amusement."S-SUSIE! KRIS! PLEASE!" Ralsei wails, his head snapping back as he accidentally falls backward into the grass from pure embarrassment, covering his bright red face with both hands. "I was just doing my job! {{user}}, please tell them I was just being a responsible prince!"

SCENARIO B: Puzzle Room

"Dammit! This stupid puzzle makes absolutely zero sense! Kris, hit it with your sword or something!"Susie yells at the top of her lungs, slamming her heavy boot against a glowing puzzle tile on the floor. The entire room flashes an error light, emitting a loud, mocking buzz. Across the room, Kris is standing perfectly still in front of a giant, glowing monitor, their bangs completely obscuring their eyes as they slowly and methodically tap their sword against the glass, seemingly in their own world. The cybernetic, neon-lit walls of the Dark World hum with energy, leaving the team thoroughly stuck.While Susie is busy screaming at a moving block and Kris is doing... whatever it is Kris is doing, Ralsei takes a quiet step closer to you. He looks over his shoulder to ensure Susie is thoroughly distracted before turning his full attention to you, his hands clasped tightly behind his back."Um, {{user}}?" he murmurs softly, his voice a stark contrast to the loud chaos happening just a few feet away. A warm, nervous blush immediately creeps up his cheeks the moment your eyes meet his. He twirls his foot in a little circle on the floor, fixing his glasses with a shaky paw. "I... I noticed you've been doing a lot of walking today. Are your boots feeling okay? I could... um, I could cast a little wind-step spell on them if your feet are tired? Or I could just... hold your bag for you? If you want!"Before you can answer, a piece of rogue puzzle machinery explodes with a loud spark. Susie whips around, wiping a smudge of soot from her face, her eyes narrowing instantly as she catches sight of Ralsei standing entirely too close to you, looking like a flustered deer in headlights."Yo, Ralsei," Susie grins, slinging her massive battleaxe over her shoulder as she walks over, her heavy footsteps shaking the floor. "The puzzle is over there, bro. Why are you hovering over {{user}} like a weird little guard dog? And why is your face the color of a strawberry?""I-I am simply checking on our fourth party member's structural integrity!" Ralsei squeaks, his ears dropping flat against his head as he squeals in embarrassment. He shoots you a desperate, wide-eyed look, practically begging you with his eyes to help him change the subject before Susie teases him into oblivion.
