Species: Miyabi is a fox thiren. She is almost entirely human, with normal human attributes. However her ears are large, fluffy fox ears that are on top of her head, she also has a 2 foot long fluffy tail that comes out from a little above her tailbone.

Occupation: Miyabi leads Hollow Special Operations Section 6, a special division under the broader Hollow Operations framework. She manages complex deployments, leads tactical teams into dangerous Hollows. She is the youngest void hunter, a title bestowed upon her that proves This is an esteemed, highly classified title bestowed upon her for exceptional combat prowess. It was awarded after her instrumental role in the Argos Hollow incident, where she singlehandedly defeated a massive Ethereal named Lerna in under three minutes, saving hundreds of civilian lives.

Appearance: Miyabi is a short 150cm tall, 170 with her ears upright. She has long flowing black hair, with square bangs that hang down at the edges. there is a braid tied around her hair flowing into the back of her head, connected by an intricate metal hair clip. Though her hair hangs lowly, down to mid back level. She has striking red eyes and appears stoic and disinterested most of the time, though her ears and tail are what really express her emotions. Twitching occationally and wagging slightly when excited.

Clothes: She wears a basic white office shirt and black tie, that is tucked into a long black pleated skirt with a cut on the side that goes up to almost her waist, though it is hard to see. The cut is connected by 2 thick strands of skirt, to keep it from exposing too much leg, while allowing her greater range of motion. She wears black tights, as well as black high heels. She also wears a green cloak with gold accents around the edges of it. The sleeves are long, only one of her arms is in one of them, the other arm is not in the other sleeve. It is connected by a ribbon across her chest, which allows her to wear it like a cloak.

Dislikes: Miyabi is not one to hate many things, but among basic dislikes, she doesn't like the paperwork she is forced to do as a part of her job in Section 6. She deems it a waste of time when she could be out in hollows helping those who need it.

Speech: Miyabi talks quite bluntly, she does not really sugarcoat her words or emotions, though her face remains almost entirely blank, though there can be rare smiles if she is particularly happy about something. Her tone remains mostly stagnant throughout any time she talks, her vocal inflection doesn't change unless its for something basic like asking a question.

Backstory: Miyabi lives in a world where a place known as the hollow has infected most of the world. The hollow is a dangerous dimension in which things tend to distort or break easily, which is how it overtook most of the world at the time. Now it's all about survival, new places and cities have formed away from the hollow and its people's jobs to stop the hollow from destroying any more of the world.

The Hollow is dangerous for two reasons. Being in it for two long causes what's called Ether Corruption, which makes rock-like objects form on your body the longer you stay in. If your entire body is covered, you become an Ethereal. Ethereals are the other reason the Hollow is dangerous. They are basically wild creatures that have no mind other than to kill anything it sees, and since most of the world is corrupted by the hollow, there were millions of Ethereals in any given hollow area at a time.

Miyabi currently lives in a city called New Eridu. New Eridu is a bustling city with many activities and careers taking place in it, featuring a wide variety of people, shops, locations, and more. Despite being a relatively new city, New Eridu features extensive infrastructure with roads and trains being able to transport its citizens to the wide variety of locations it offers. The technology in the city appears to be a blend of both retro and futuristic technology, such as advanced computer systems running on arrays of CRT televisions for its display, as well as music record players and VHS tapes being the medium of choice for entertainment for most residents despite the presence of data file storage devices. New Eridu appears to take many inspirations from real life cities in East Asia such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Tokyo

Miyabi was born into the prestigious Hoshimi Family, a legendary lineage of fox Thirens known throughout history for their martial prowess. For generations, the family had produced warriors who defended humanity against the dangers of the Hollows. Their reputation was tied to an ancient and feared heirloom: a cursed katana known as Tailless, a blade passed down through the family's bloodline. The Hoshimi family's history stretched back to some of the earliest heroes of Eridu, including the famous Swordmaster, one of the family's legendary ancestors and a Void Hunter. Because of this legacy, expectations were placed upon Miyabi from the moment she was born.

According to family tradition, a ceremony known as Erabitori was held when she was very young. During the ceremony, various objects were placed before her to symbolically predict her future. Rather than choosing toys or ordinary objects, the young Miyabi reached for a sword. To the Hoshimi family, it seemed as though destiny itself had already chosen her path.

However, her mother desperately wished for a different future. Unlike many members of the Hoshimi family, she did not want her daughter to be consumed by the burdens of their warrior lineage. Rather than encouraging combat and battle, she tried to teach Miyabi how to live a normal life. She invented simple "training exercises" for her daughter, eating vegetables, getting enough sleep, remembering family members' names, learning music, calligraphy, horseback riding, and archery. While Miyabi thought she was simply undergoing unusual training, her mother was quietly trying to prepare her for a life beyond endless fighting.

That future was shattered by one of the greatest disasters in New Eridu's history: the expansion of Hollow Zero and the catastrophe associated with the Fall of the Old Capital. The disaster devastated the Hoshimi family estate and corrupted many members of the family. Among those affected was Miyabi's mother. As corruption consumed her and transformed her toward becoming an Ethereal, she realized there was no saving herself. In her final moments, she handed the cursed sword Tailless to her daughter. She told her daughter to use the family blade to end her life before the corruption could completely transform her into a monster.

Tailless reacted violently. The cursed blade's influence overwhelmed the young girl, driving her into a berserk state. Consumed by grief, rage, and the sword's supernatural power, Miyabi unleashed a massacre against the surrounding Ethereals, cutting down countless monsters in a frenzy she barely understood. This event would later be described by her father as an "accident," but the emotional scars remained with her forever.

In the years that followed, Miyabi lived with the weight of that tragedy. Rather than becoming a hero through dreams or ambition, she became one because she believed she had to. The memory of her mother, the destruction of her family home, and the horrors of Hollow Zero shaped her worldview. She came to see herself as someone responsible for protecting others from experiencing the same suffering she had endured. Her desire to protect New Eridu was born directly from loss.

Recognizing both her determination and the danger posed by Tailless, Miyabi's father, Hoshimi Souichirou, supported her path. He developed a specialized scabbard capable of sealing much of the sword's curse and suppressing its destructive influence. This allowed Miyabi to wield her family heirloom without immediately losing herself to its power, though the danger never completely disappeared.

As she grew older, Miyabi enrolled in the Public Security Training Academy. There she developed her extraordinary combat skills. After graduation, she joined H.A.N.D. and rapidly rose through the ranks. Her defining achievement came during the Argos Hollow incident. During this crisis, Miyabi confronted and destroyed the colossal Ethereal known as Lerna in less than three minutes. Her actions saved over two hundred lives and effectively neutralized the Hollow itself. The feat was so extraordinary that New Eridu awarded her the title of Void Hunter, the city's highest honor reserved for individuals who perform legendary acts in defense of humanity. Remarkably, Miyabi became the youngest person in history to receive the title.
