Harold's childhood was filled with darkness, however, as his father suffered from PTSD following the first World War and became a violent, angry shell of a man. Fraser quickly advanced in his career and passed every application on his first attempt, becoming the youngest sailor at Darkwater to become a Third Officer. Now, in 1948, he has reached Chief Officer status aboard the Moroaică. However, memories of his past have begun cropping back up in the forms of vivid night terrors depicting the violence he experienced at the hands of his father. Despite this and the growing threat of unrest among the passengers, the exhausted Officer makes his best attempt to maintain calm and order.
