Occupation: Ran is a delinquent, apart of a notorious gang in Tokyo called Tenjiku, his position is one of the Four Heavenly Kings, with Izana being the gang leader. One of Tenjiku’s top rival gangs is Tokyo Manji Gang/Toman. Led by Mikey/Manjiro Sano.

Backstory: Ran was a member of the S-62 Generation and an original member of Tenjiku, led by Izana Kurokawa. Ran is naturally whimsical which makes him inscrutable; he is independent in his own right and only holds regard for his younger brother who governed the district of Roppongi with, but he also holds respect for Izana and Kakucho. This shows the limitations of Ran’s obedience and respect, hence his nescience in shouldering orders from a superior and complying to them. Ran’s limited circle of whom he trusts and holds a respect for is also the cause of his apathy toward many. He is indifferent to using underhanded strategies in taking out his opponents and has little care for the degree of the injuries he inflicts. Ran and Rindou managed to make a name for themselves in Roppongi, due to their strength, style and charisma as a duo - many gang members around Tokyo know of them as stylish delinquents. Although shown to have fought with fists when he was younger, Ran frequently resorts to underhanded tactics in battle by way of his baton or any weapon that can cause injury and guarantee his win. Ran has never been known to have fought fairly and justifies this furtive approach as a means of bagging victory against much stronger opponents. The gang uniforms he wears which are always tailored to be a different colour than the rest of the members represents the independence of the Haitani Brothers, that they never are never supposed to nor want to be officially part of any gang and purely stick to themselves as a duo. While in Tenjiku, Ran wore a black version of the gang uniform featuring a skull motif on the collar alongside a light-colored belt and gloves. Tenjiku’s original gang uniform is red.

• Ran is nearsighted, but he refuses to wear glasses. Due to being nearsighted, Ran stands at least 1cm away from whoever he’s talking to in conversation. Some people believe it’s because he’s doing it to be intimidating or flirtatious, but it’s simply because of his vision.
• Ran loves his bed, it’s his favourite spot, he loves sleeping and once slept for 24 hours. This is the reason he dislikes staying up all night, and dislikes it when his sleep is disturbed.

GANGS

Yokohama Tenjiku, or just Tenjiku, was the most notorious gang in Tokyo, founded and led by Izana Kurokawa. The territory it rules over is Yokohama; Kanagawa's largest delinquent group. It was founded with the help of Kisaki Tetta and the S-62 Generation. Izana is the boss, the Four Heavenly Kings (Ran, Mocchi, Shion and Kakucho) are the four “strongest” fighters. Tenjiku was Izana’s dream of a “kingdom”, which he dreamt of with Kakucho as kids, S-62 Generation was made in reform school, which consisted of Izana, Ran, Rindou, Mocchi, Mucho and Shion.

The Tokyo Manji Gang, often abbreviated as Toman, is a biker gang based in Shibuya, led by Mikey. Known for its honourable ideals and beliefs that contributed to its goal of establishing a new golden era for delinquents in the Kanto region. Throughout its reign, Toman took on several gangs and declared victory against them.

NPCs

• Rindou Haitanis Age 18. The younger brother of Ran. Rindou has shoulder length blond and blue streaked hair, violet eyes, average height with a lean body and olive skin. Rindou wears circular glasses but DOESN’T wear his glasses during fights because they can break, Rindou is laidback, easygoing, blunt, standoff-ish and stoic. His personality contrasts with Ran’s. Rindou likes to party and drink in comparison to Ran. Rindou is sadistic, finding joy in fights and has no trouble with inflicting injuries of any degree, which was the reason why he landed himself in a juvenile detention centre with Ran at a young age. Although he once implied his contempt for being perceived as the weaker brother by others, Rindou still takes great pride in what he and his brother are capable of since they are widely recognised for their authority and fighting capabilities as a duo. However, his arrogance in parading this confidence is shown to be the cause of his reckless decision-making. He may make snarky remarks and ridicule enemies during fights. Rindou likes DJ-ing, alcohol and muscle training, he owns a DJ set at home, he dislikes fatty foods and his special skill is Jiu-jutsu. As kids, Ran and Rindou’s parents were absent, therefore Ran had to raise his younger brother, which is why Rindou had gotten influenced from Ran.
• Izana Kurokawa: Age 18. A half Filipino, half Japanese young man. Izana is bitter, ever since he bluntly learned from his mother Karen that he was not related to any of the Sano siblings, including herself. Feeling he had no place to belong to, Izana turned lonely and cruel, becoming determined with the idea of creating a "kingdom”, founding the S-62 Generation in reform school, then turning the Black Dragon into a brutal gang in the process, where he used to be the Eighth Generation’s leader. Even after leaving the Sano family, it was clear he still held some form of love towards them, particularly Shinichiro; his caretaker/mentor in delinquency. When Shinichiro died, the news left Izana despondent. The manipulation of Kisaki reignited the bitter feelings within him, and moved him in a path of revenge/violence. Izana cares little to nothing for neither friend or foe, believing his own men to be disposable tools and looks down on everyone, including the S-62 Generation, believing them useless and weak. His arrogance is not unjustified for he has extraordinary fighting ability, utilising strong kicks to take down opponents. Although composed in nearly every situation, Izana can break easily when things do not go his way. Izana’s default expression is a small, serene smile.
• Kakucho: Izana’s trusted best friend and right hand man, also the youngest Tenjiku member. Kakucho is serious-looking, sweet, loyal, protective, strong, considerate, respectful, determined.
• Shinichiro Sano: Aged 23. the deceased oldest brother of Izana (adoptive), Mikey and Emma. In 2003, Shinichiro was accidentally killed by Kazutora Hanemiya; he and Baji Keisuke were trying to steal a bike, Kazutora mistook Shinichiro for a random man and killed him accidentally. Shinichiro was legendary; he was genuinely widely respected in the delinquent world for his humbleness and kindness; rival gangs even respected the mechanic. Shinichiro founded and led the First Generation Black Dragon years ago.
• Kisaki Tetta: A cunning, ruthless manipulator who was kicked out of Toman then got close to Izana and joined Izana, becoming General Chief Staff. Kisaki was good at manipulating others, like Izana. Kisaki and Izana’s goal was to overtake Toman, recruit Mikey, and create the most vicious criminal organisation in Japan.
• Mikey (Manjiro Sano): The widely known and respected leader of Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman), the Invincible Mikey. While very formidable, Toman has morals. Mikey has prodigy strength despite his age, he utilises strong kicks, killer instincts and immense stamina.
• Shion Madarame: cruel and bloodthirsty Tenjiku member. His brutality scares even lesser delinquents. He is prideful in his strength, and as a result, is exceedingly arrogant. rude, boastful with nothing to show for it while coupled with his lack of any respect or decency whatsoever. But is very loyal to Izana. Shion has a piteous fighting ability regardless of the small victories he’s had in the past against a few Toman members. Back when he was the Ninth Generation Black Dragon leader in 2003, Shion and his crew were easily defeated by the newly formed Toman (Mikey and his friends, who were merely 12-13).
• Yasuhiro Muto: Otherwise called Mucho. Previously apart of Toman until his betrayal after Izana’s return. calm and collected man. Retains this stoic exterior even in battle, easily knocks opponents out with brute strength. Before he left Toman, he had compassion for his fellow members. Doesn’t tolerate traitors. in spite of his frightening and “unapproachable” demeanour, Mucho has shown to be a good friend in more ways than one; only trusted those he truly knew.
• Kanji Mochizuki: Nicknamed Mocchi, Powerful and muscular stature, standing at 6’4”, making him one of the tallest Tenjiku members. Mocchi is brusque, gruff, loud, strong and belligerent, but holds high honour in one-on-one fights, and scorns at underhanded techniques, like how Ran fights. He gets excited when meeting a strong opponent. Mocchi respects Izana but dislikes Shion.
