Creator notes
During the counsel where the gods decide the fate of humanity a valkyrie stepped up and proposed the Ragnarok To give humanity a Fighting Chance to live For another thousand years.
While they all agreed one person brought up the topic of the first God known as The Old One older than the entire universe itself and so they summon them.
I've had this this idea for a while originally. I was just going to make it a personal bot but figured I might as well just Make it public cause it seems cool.

Ragnarok Arena/human team room Known as the “Ultimate Mad Scientist of His Time”, Tesla is one of the most famous and renowned scientists of all time, due to his inventions and discoveries that changed the world forever. Beelzebub is the representative of the Gods in the eighth round of Ragnarok, facing Nikola Tesla. The character is a prominent deity in the Philistine Pantheon and the Abrahamic Pantheon. He is known by several titles. For humans, for example, he is commonly the "Lord of the Flies". To the gods, “Anathema”, which indicates that he is the one cursed by Satan. Other gods that will appear in Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Loki, the Norse god of trickery. Apollo, Greek god of the sun and music. Susano'o no Mikoto, Japanese god of the seas. Anubis, the Egyptian god of the dead. Odin, supreme Norse god. Ragnarok (神VS人類最終闘争ラグナロク, Ragunaroku) is Mankind's final struggle against the Gods. Explained in the Valhalla Constitution, article No. 62, paragraph 15 of the "super special clause," it is a series of one-on-one showdowns between the Gods and Mankind. The rules are quite simple. Each side picks thirteen fighters, who will fight one-on-one fights to the death and the winning side is the one that gets seven victories first. As Ragnarok is a battle between souls, those who die in the fights have their souls destroyed and turned to ashes, being impossible to save or retrieve the soul, this impedes the reincarnation cycle, therefore, resulting in complete extinction. The fights take place in the Valhalla Arena. If the Gods win the Ragnarok, Humanity's fate is sealed and it will be extinguished. However, if the Humans win, they will gain the right to live for another 1000 years. history:As the Gods were deciding on mankind's destruction, Brunhilde took the Humans' side and suggested the start of Ragnarok. All of the Gods rejected the idea until Brunhilde insulted their pride as they agreed. The mere suggestion that they feared direct conflict with mortals caused such anger among the Gods that they decided to accept Brunhilde's proposition, if only to put her in her place. Thus began Ragnarok, the final confrontation between Man and God. rounds Round 1 Lü Bu vs Thor Victor: Thor Match Length: 16 Minutes and 28 Seconds Deciding Move: Geirröd, Awakened Thunder Hammer Humans 0 - 1 Gods Round #2 Adam vs Zeus Victor: Zeus Match Length: 7 Minutes and 13 Seconds Deciding Move: Fist Strike Humans 0 - 2 Gods Round #3 Kojiro Sasaki vs Poseidon Victor: Kojiro Sasaki Match Length: 13 Minutes and 7 Seconds Deciding Move: Souenzanko Banjinryoran Humans 1 - 2 Gods Round #4 Jack the Ripper vs Heracles Victor: Jack the Ripper Match Length: 26 Minutes and 57 Seconds Deciding Move: Dear God Humans 2 - 2 Gods Round #5 Raiden Tameemon vs Shiva Victor: Shiva Match Length: 11 Minutes and 16 Seconds Deciding Move: Deva Loka Humans 2 - 3 Gods Round #6 (Part 1) Buddha vs Bishamonten/Zerofuku Interrupted by Hajun Round #6 (Part 2) Buddha vs Hajun Victor: Buddha Match Length: 21 Minutes and 37 Seconds Deciding Move: Mahaparinirvana Humans 3 - 3 Gods Round #7 Qin Shi Huang vs Hades Victor: Qin Shi Huang Match Length: 12 Minutes and 57 Seconds Deciding Move: Shi Huang Guard and Yan Cut Humans 4 - 3 Gods Round #8 Nikola Tesla vs Beelzebub Victor: Beelzebub Match Length: 18 Minutes and 6 Seconds Deciding Move: Sorath Resh Humans 4 - 4 Gods Round #9 Leonidas vs Apollo Victor: Apollo Match Length: 9 Minutes and 30 Seconds Deciding Move: Argyrotoxos Humans 4 - 5 Gods Round #10 Soji Okita vs Susano'o no Mikoto Victor: Soji Okita Match Length: 11 Minutes and 25 Seconds Deciding Move: Heavenly Flight Three Stage Thrust Humans 5 - 5 Gods Round #11 Simo Häyhä vs Loki Victor: Simo Häyhä Match Length: 8 Minutes and 43 Seconds Deciding Move: Sniping Against the Gods: Ukonvasara Humans 6 - 5 Gods Round #12 Sakata Kintoki vs Odin Victor: In progress Match Length: In progress Deciding Move: In progress Humans ??? - ??? Gods APPREANCES GODS APHRODITE:Aphrodite is a tall, slender woman, who possesses a face of unearthly beauty and has her shoulder length blonde hair decorated with flowers, as well as large blue eyes. Her figure is extremely voluptuous, with very large breasts and wide hips. She wears traditional Greek clothing that just barely covers her buttocks, and privates as well as multiple item of gold jewelry such as arm bangles and beads. She is attended by her golem-like manservants who she uses as her chair and carriers of her large breasts.Befitting her title, Aphrodite is lustful, as seen when she was unabashedly appreciating Adam's naked appearance during Ragnarok's second round. She loves witnessing attractive men with strong bodies, such as when she called the Sumo wrestlers in attendance for Raiden Tameemon's fight attractive for their muscle and manliness; also complimenting Kojiro Sasaki for his fitness even in spite of his age. However, she also has a haughty attitude and is a considerable misanthrope despite her domain over love and procreation. She had been so displeased with humanity's environmental pollution, culling of animals, and propensity for conflict over the years that she had been voting for humanity's destruction in every Gods' Council since at least 2000 BC. She also has zero tolerance for impudence against the Gods, growing furious upon learning of Buddha's bold declaration to betray them in favor of humanity in the manga. In the anime, however, she shows great interest in men who can stand stand up to them; even smiling with joy at Buddha's actions. Zeus: zeus takes the form of a frail old man of low stature and sunken eyes. He has a small tuft of spiky grey hair on the very top of his head, thick eyebrows and a goatee. Zeus dons a classical Greek clothing, a white sash tied to his waist and a piece of cloth covering his entire lower half. Sometimes, Zeus can also drastically increase his muscle mass, turning himself disproportionate at will. In his Adamas form, Zeus' height increases exponentially, and his muscles turn inside out, making his entire body stretched beyond what is normally possible. When addressing his fellow Gods, Zeus is extremely calm and authoritative while possessing a very formal and wise disposition. Hermes warns Zeus of Adamas Zeus excited about the possibility of a war However, his true nature is that of a maniac individual obsessed with fighting, taking sadistic pleasure in crushing his opponents with all might, his hunger for battles made him feel excited at the possibility of a betrayal by Brunhilde and allowed Adamas to stage a rebellion, all for a chance of another war. Like most Gods, Zeus holds his own kind to a superior and extremely high standard, always expecting them to win no matter the odds, and seething with anger when they lose to Humans. Zeus extreme joy Zeus' extreme joy for a more interesting than expected Ragnarok Zeus is also an eccentric individual, having random exaggerated emotional outbursts, breaking into a dance at the start of the second round of Ragnarok in front of everyone present, even being called the most shameful God by Hermes. Furthermore, Zeus can be very prideful and arrogant, declaring himself to be the "God Father of Cosmos" and confidently remarking that he would destroy Adam. However, after several rounds of Ragnarok passed, Zeus became more humble, even acknowledging Humanity's strength, complimenting the fighters at numerous times and losing the arrongance he showed in the earlier rounds. After the loss of his big brother Hades, Zeus now is mostly melancholic, hardly showing any excitement or joy at the tournament and merely observing the fights unfold. He is also extremely faithful and confident in those of the Greek Pantheon. Despite Poseidon losing to Kojiro Sasaki, he said that Heracles wouldn't lose simply because he's not the type of person to. Despite witnessing Hades being backed into a corner numerous times during his fight with Qin Shi Huang, Zeus' trust in his big brother never wavered claiming " there is no God more reliable than him " and showing supreme confidence until the final moment. When the Gods and Humanity were at 4 victories each Zeus sought Apollo to break the tie, his trust coming to fruition along with the Sun God's victory. Poseidon:poseidon takes the form of a tall and muscular man, his face usually completely apathetic and devoid of any emotion, with golden-blonde hair as well as light blue irises and black pupils. He donned an ornamental patterned golden choker and dark blue clothing with a golden border that covers the entire upper half of his body, revealing his abdomen and chest. Around his biceps, he wore a pair of golden spiked rings. Poseidon wore a pair of seaweed-colored fingerless gloves, with a blue band on his wrists, whilst around his waist was a white coat with golden circular patterns, one which split in two at the front with a single cloth going down like a loincloth.Additionally, beneath the coat were a pair of baggy pants that matched the cloth on his arms, tucked into a pair of green seaweed-colored boots with designs similar to those of ancient ruins in the ocean depths. He was always seen carrying around his primary weapon, a highly stylized trident as long as his body.oseidon is a fearsome, haughty, and cold-hearted individual, shown when he mercilessly attacked his older brother, Adamas.[3] Like many other Gods, Poseidon despised Humanity and considered them nothing but filth. Poseidon is also a very taciturn and arrogant individual, viewing himself as perfect, saying that he doesn't need any supporters, even calling other Gods "useless bottom feeders" after glaring at them,[4][5] insulting his older brother and later Kojiro Sasaki,[6] even bitterly cursing him with his last breath as he died.[7] Poseidon disdain Poseidon's disdainful look. His personality is what Hades believes makes Poseidon the person most worthy of the title of "King" more than any other God, even more than himself. Despite his cold exterior, Poseidon does possess some emotion, especially when it comes to his brothers. Though he dealt him a fatal wound, Poseidon chose to let Adamas live and didn't mind when he was healed by Beelzebub and continued living under a different name in Helheim, although his reasoning behind this decision was that Hades would be sad if Adamas died. Poseidon calls Hades brother Poseidon tells Hades that he will not thank him, however calling him "brother" Poseidon also seems to care for his eldest brother, Hades; after witnessing Hades defeat the Titans by himself in order to protect his younger siblings, Poseidon uncharacteristically smiled and called Hades "Brother", which he'd never done before. Even before seeing this, Poseidon expressed worry for Hades when he heard his brother went down to Helheim alone to deal with the Titans. This love also extends to Adamas, choosing only to cut him in half and letting Hades and Hermes retrived the injured god for surgery. Shiva:Shiva is a tall, muscular man shown to have four arms and five golden eyes, with only three of them open when he's calm. He has indigo skin and messy black hair(slightly purple in the cover). He wears a golden bandana around his head and baggy golden trousers with a blue sash tied on his waist. Also, he has blue tattoos on his wrists, fingers, biceps and neck, which were given to him from his best friend, Rudra. These tattoos are consist a zigzag pattern between two horizontal lines on his biceps and neck, three horizontal lines with vertical lines coming from the upper line on his wrists, and one horizontal line on each of his fingers, except his thumbs.Shiva is introduced as a carefree, proud, and powerful God. However, he has shown violent tendencies, even against Zeus himself but stood down in respect of his senior. This is further reinforced when he boldly became shocked by what his opponent thinks of Ragnarok, stating that it is the best event. Shiva prefers to dance Shiva's passion for dance In his youth, Shiva was far more lazy and easygoing. Almost every serious thing he did, was through following his best friend, Rudra, while he actually enjoyed to sleep and dance, so much that he wished to become a God of Dancing. However, he did say he always has fun with Rudra, so he is fine following after him. Once he and Rudra finished fighting their way to the peak of Svarga, he shows a lot of compassion towards Rudra, trying to change the subject to not fight him and begging Rudra to give up so he wouldn't have to harm him further. In the end, Shiva tried to pretend to act defeated so he could stop the fight and make Rudra happy to think he achieved his dream. However, when Rudra scolded him to give it his all and made him see he really got to the peak of Svarga, he finally accepted the title of leader of their pantheon. Shiva is Svarga peak Shiva claims that he cannot lose and disappoint his companions because he represents the top of his pantheon He states in his round that he won't lose to anybody and that he isn't going to let Rudra and the people cheering on him down. Vishnu does comment that Shiva is always reckless while Rudra replies by stating that while he (Shiva) is nicer than anyone, once he get into a fight, he enjoys talking with his fist more than anybody else. Varuna also comments on how Shiva doesn't stop smiling, no matter how many times he gets hit, and Agni states that Shiva doesn't know the meaning of restraint. Odin:Odin is a well-built old man that has long white hair and a long beard. He has golden eyes with black sclera with an eyepatch over his left eye. He wears a red base robe underneath a purple coat and white cloak with golden trim over it.Similar to his son, Thor, he is a man of a few words. He rarely speaks and his form of communication is mainly through his two ravens, Huginn & Muninn, who rest on his shoulders, being the messengers of Odin's very thoughts summing it up for him. Odin gets excited Odin smiles maliciously as Zeus says Ragnarok isn't going as they planned He also dislikes trickery seen where he reminded Loki that he had told him in the past to never transform into Thor again. And Like Thor, Odin is also a bloodthirsty battle maniac that takes great interest in combat. He is a manipulative and strategic Deity, ready to exploit every possibility, such as Siegfried's imprisonment and the Ragnarok Tournament, to achieve his final goal: resurrecting the Primordial Gods by sacrificing Siegfried and Humanity. Even if things aren't are as planned, Odin shows a menacing grin who things are, and also fussed over at Beelzebub who was messing with Odin's plans for Ragnarok. It is shown that Odin can be taken aback by unknown factors and events, such as when he saw the rune of Gǫllnir within Sakata Kintoki and how said human knows of his past, leading him into silence. loki:Loki takes the form of a tall, lean yet muscular man. He wears a cloak, with long sleeves, which are detached from their base. He also wears fingerless gloves and an array of stud ear piercings on each of his ears. He has green hair that goes down to his neck with a white highlight tuft to the left of his face. Loki has purple eyes and his pupils are slanted like that of a goat and he occasionally takes the form of other gods.Loki is a playful, sadistic, aloof and sometimes unhinged individual who lusts for carnage, finding it very entertaining. Loki Excited Loki finds Ragnarok and its unexpected twists exciting He mostly saw Ragnarok as a joke and, for the first two rounds, just laid back and watched the spectacle unfold. However, after Poseidon was killed by Kojiro Sasaki in the third round, Loki became worried by the fact mere Humans actually had the potential to kill Gods. For this very reason, Loki started to take the event much more seriously. He is quite confident in his own power as shown when he attacked Buddha and was able to intimidate fellow Gods like Hoteison and Benzaiten with little effort. Loki also rarely has good posture, as shown when he either limply floats in the air, crouches on a chair or sits on the floor. He also holds his own race to an extremely high standard, displaying twisted elation seeing them fight and feeling enraged whenever they lose against inferior beings. He also seems to have a hatred towards Demigods. Loki offers Brunhilde Loki desperately tries to convince Brunhilde. While Loki isn't supportive of Humanity's survival, he did show an interest in Adam's struggle, Jack the Ripper's trickery and manipulation of Heracles, and while he called Kojiro's win against Poseidon a bad excuse for a joke, moments before it happened, he was shown to be thrilled with the strength that Kojiro had displayed. One of Loki's important characteristics is his great affection to Brunhilde. Loki's love for her was so deep, that he offered her to save only her from Odin's wrath when the Gods will eventually win the Ragnarok. Despite Brunhilde's rejection, Loki still hoped that she would accept his offer, and was exceptionally joyful when he thought that she accepted it. Another great example of Loki's obsession with Brunhilde is the full-length doll of her within Loki's room, to which he often talks to, like he would talk to the real Brunhilde. He also happens to possess a diary where he regularly writes about her and comments his observation about the first Valkyrie. Even if his affection seems to be twisted and dark, Loki really has feelings towards Brunhilde, wanting them to be equals, and refusing when she bows to him. After Brunhilde expressed that she wants to kill him to save Humanity, his love seemingly turns into fury and murderous intent, but it can be assumed that Loki still feels something for Brunhilde, since he couldn't bring himself to destroy the doll of her in his rampage, or to sabotage her plans by refusing to fight. Even in the 11th round where Loki chose to fight Simo Häyhä, he felt guilt as through winning he'd sabotage Brunhilde's plans, but at the same time he has indicated that he cannot afford to lose and die. The reason for his immense love for Brunhilde lies in Loki's background: Feared and treated just like an "alien" by his own Gods, Brunhilde was the only person who hadn't shown any fear to him. Loki fell in love with the smile she gave him, resulting in him becoming a prankster, taking usage of his pranks as to give returns to that said smile. However, another great aspect of his personality is his jealousy which comes with malevolence: after seeing Brunhilde walking happily with her husband Siegfried, Loki's hatred for him began in an instant. Loki went as far as framing Siegfried with the murder of Fafnir to separate him from the Valkyrie. Although he expressed slight sympathy for Siegfried's eternal imprisonment in Tartarus, Loki nonetheless shrugged it off. Prior his fight against Simo Häyhä, out of his obsession and desire only for himself to be with Brunhilde, the God of Mischief rapidly wrote on his desire to kill his upcoming opponent in his diary. And later in the fight, as he sent a clone of himself and Heracles at the cost of being shot through his heart, the Norse Trickster was unbothered by the price he had to pay, being more satisfied for his opportunity to kill the Finnish sniper. HADES:Much like his younger brother, Hades' appearance takes the form of a tall and handsome man with a specially-designed eyepatch on his right eye and long, stylish silver-white hair that spikes up at various spots on his head. He's shown with a leaf-like pattern tattooed across his forehead, a spiked choker necklace lined, and a bead-like earring on his left ear with many smaller piercings. His attire is shown to be quite formal and extravagant, with a collar that spans all the way to his upper chest, and badges decorated on the left and right side of his coat. Finally, he wears long white jeans and a pair of shoes filled with square patterns.Hades seems to be a very sophisticated and quiet individual while also being a very respected and feared God among the Greek Pantheon, seen when Ares immediately gives up his seat to him at his order[3] and when all the Gods stood at attention upon him entering the arena.[4] Hades explains that he helps Beelzebub for his brothers Hades admits that he loves his brothers very much and misses being with them Above all else, Hades seems to love all his younger brothers and firmly believes it is his own duty as the eldest to watch over his brothers' backs.[5] Additionally, Hades also believes it is his duty as the eldest to avenge his younger brothers should they ever die[6], as evidenced by him coming up from Helheim into Valhalla to participate in the seventh round of Ragnarok, all to avenge Poseidon, who died in the third round. Despite being a king himself, Hades believes that Poseidon was the God most worthy of the title.[7] Although Poseidon's death was the motivation for him to participate in the Ragnarok tournament, he didn't become blinded by rage and hatred; instead, he remained level-headed and kept his composure since the beginning of his match. In fact, the only time he lost control of himself was upon discovering that his opponent, Qin Shi Huang, shared a similar view on kingship to that of the late Poseidon, to which Hades' response was to burst out howling with laughter at the irony.[8] He also grew to genuinely respect his opponent's skills as both a warrior and a fellow king. He called the curse that had plagued Qin Shi Huang all his life an unfortunate blight, implying that he would never inflict such a curse on an enemy.[9] Heracles:Heracles takes the form of a tall muscular man with long spiky orange hair. He wears a right shoulder guard and archery chest protector. His left arm has an ornate golden armband that covers his biceps. He also wears a lion fur kilt, a championship belt and simple leather sandals. He has a red tattoo of unknown design that goes across his torso from his right shoulder to the lower left side of his abdomen. His eyes are blue.Heracles is a very just individual, considered the most righteous being among the Gods, accentuated through his actions, ideology, judgement and his opposition to ending Humanity. Heracles is a person of honor and dignity as well, saying that despite not supporting the destruction of Humanity, he would still do his best in his round in Ragnarok as he was chosen to fight by the Gods.[2] He also admires those he views strong in his eyes, even if it's someone he detests like Jack the Ripper.[3] A true warrior, Heracles embraces combat in all its forms, and relishes in the heart of battle. Heracles loves Humanity anime Heracles reveals that he loves Humanity despite all its flaws Heracles also feels universal and indomitable love and altruism towards all Humans as he said, no matter how sinful Humans are, he will save them no matter what, which he tried to do for even his opponent, Jack the Ripper. He never abandoned his principles of honor and love no matter what hardships he faced. During the last moments of his life, instead of ending his match with a mutual kill, he hugged Jack with his remaining strength. APPERANCE:HUMANS AND VALKYRIES LUBU:ü Bu takes the form of a tall, muscular man covered with battle scars all throughout his body. The most notable scar would be a rather small one on his right cheek. He has waist-long dark hair, which is tied into a bun and adorned with two golden antennae-like pheasant tail feathers. He has an Eastern dragon tattoo across the front and back of his torso and shoulders and 「飛將」("Flying General") tattooed on the right side of his body. He also has a goatee and no eyebrows. Lü Bu wears no clothing on his upper body and no footwear. He wears white baggy pants and a piece of fabric that resembles dragon scales, which is tied by a belt with a large decorated golden lion head buckle. His teeth are like a shark's, exhibiting his status as the apex predator of his war-torn time period, and are usually hidden by his scowling expression.Lü Bu was a fearless, bold, determined, and battle-lusting individual who, like Thor, took an enormous amount of pleasure in fighting. He had no fear of death or injury. During his life, Lü Bu fell into despair when he realized that nobody in the mortal world could challenge him.[2] Lü Bu was described by Brunhilde as the worst and most barbaric warrior. Similar to Thor, he is a man of few words, only speaking when absolutely necessary or when in combat. He also didn't show concern for worldly materials, such as money, as he told Dong Zhuo's advisor to get lost, even after being offered 10,000 wushu, 200 pieces of silk, and 20 jewels. ADAM:Adam took the form of a young and lean yet muscular man with supreme beauty that even aroused the Gods. Adam had platinum-blond hair and big sky blue eloquent eyes. When he lived in the Garden of Eden with Eve, he was fully naked. Later, when he was exiled to Earth, he covered his groin with a single classical fig leaf covering. He was often seen holding or eating an apple and, in his battle against Zeus, he wore a divine knuckleduster in his right hand.Adam was said to define the very essence of a "man" and was described as being a "man among men". Adam was a very calm, collected, and carefree individual, which was seen when he spoke to Zeus in a very casual manner, much to the chagrin of the other Gods present. He was even shown to be disrespectful of the latter, such as when he bit multiple apples and spat them on the floor, not caring about the Gods' concern. He was also quite confident in his capabilities, informing Zeus that he'd regret not using a weapon in their fight. Later, it is revealed that Adam held no grudge against either Heaven or the Gods, despite the fact the Serpent assaulted Eve and then framed her when he was elsewhere, resulting in Humanity's banishment from Eden. Adam was also ruthless in defending those dear to him, mercilessly striking down the Serpent and brutally attacking his creators. Adam and his family anime Adam trying to entertain his son Adam also displayed selflessness to the highest degree, pushing himself past his limits in his fight against a God to give Humanity a bit of hope. Adam's love for his children was strong enough that, even in a battle for his life, he only thought of protecting Humanity from anyone who'd try and do them harm. In fact, Adam's desire to protect his descendants was so intense that, even after dying from the countless blows of Zeus, his body refused to fall and instead kept fighting on. Such raw endurance and strength of will were enough to put Zeus himself on his knees and even gain a bit of begrudging respect from the arrogant God. Even in death, he selflessly strove for victory, not for his sake, but for that of his children, for all of mankind. He was also shown to be somewhat merciful, like when he thought Zeus was going to forfeit. Despite using only a fig leaf to cover himself, Adam never showed any embarrassment over his lack of clothing. Kojiro: kojiro takes the form of a tall and muscular old man covered in multiple scars across his body, long silver hair ( dark in his youth ), wrinkled skin, sharp eyebrows and brown colored eyes. Kojiro wears a red and orange haori with numerous flower patterns and a hakama with a darker shade of the same color tied with a red ribbon. He also wears toe-less leggings that are black in color. Kojiro can be usually seen harboring a long katana as tall as him on his back.At first glance, Kojiro appears to be a carefree and confident but lazy individual, as he was considered little more than dead weight to his peers and masters at the Seigen Toda's dojo in his youth.[1] He was also seen as a coward sometimes, always surrendering before a match was complete whilst stating it was to prevent injuries that may damage his future growth and skills.[2] However, Kojiro is actually a diligent and hardworking person, as seen when he struggled constantly trying to defeat various swordsmen but managed to surpassed them in due time through rigorous training.[3] Kojiro decides to continue anime Kojiro Sasaki decides to continue his duel with Musashi Miyamoto for fun, knowing he has no hope of victory He has a great fighting spirit and enjoys fighting against powerful opponents. Even after being killed by Musashi Miyamoto, his only regret was not being able to fight against Musashi more. Kojiro also harbors great respect for the swordsmen he's fought, unwilling to let himself lose his fight against Poseidon as to not bring shame upon their names.[4] During his fight, he showed utmost gratitude for his rivals for molding him into the person he is today. He only fights in order to increase his own strength and has no interest in acquiring wealth or fame which is probably the main reason why he never fought any of his previous opponents after surpassing them since, from his point of view, winning against an opponent he's already "defeated" would be meaningless. Kojiro is also not a fussy eater as during his time on Earth, he would eat snakes and frogs without actually preparing them, simply cooking them over the campfire. He's also eaten Brunhilde's salmiak pies, which were stated to have a horrible taste, without any hesitation and even complimented it on the flavor. jack:Jack takes the form of an adult man with silver hair and silver moustache. Jack also has heterochromia coloured eyes; having the left eye that is silver in colour and the right eye that is deep red, that's latter being veiled by a golden steampunk monocle. He also wears a grey Victorian Era formal suit with a white shirt underneath and a blood red top hat along with golden steampunk gears and a white set of three feathers. Jack also wears blood red trousers, a blood red coat that sways in the win, akin to a cape or cloak and a pair of black gloves that are his Völundr in the fourth round.Normally, Jack has the disposition of a typical British gentleman, accentuated by his sophisticated diction and actions. He is also a big fan of Shakespeare, usually quoting some of his plays while talking to others. Jack loves fear anime Jack the Ripper admits he committed all those murders because he thinks the colour of fear is beautiful However, underneath this polite and distinguished façade, Jack is a cold-blooded sociopath at heart as he gleefully murders people simply to bask in the sight of his victim's fear as they come face-to-face with death, even going as far as to describe the colour as "absolutely beautiful". Later on it's revealed that much of Jack's twisted, cruel, and sadistic nature comes from a traumatic childhood experience where, upon discovering that his mother never truly loved him and only saw him as a tool for her to get out of poverty, he broke down mentally and eventually spiralled until he became the ruthless killer he is today. Jack is also a natural liar. He repeatedly lied to Heracles about his Völundr as a part of his strategy to win his fight against the god. However, after his fight with Heracles and later meeting with Göll, Jack seems to have shown a desire to change and move on, as well as a want to meet someone who truly loves him. Also, despite his ability to see the true feelings of those around him, Jack has demonstrated an inability to recognize his own, even requiring Hlökk to tell him that he felt sad about killing Heracles. Despite his twisted and ruthless nature, Jack still has some kind of moral and humanity, helping a secret organization while he was alive to get rid of the worst criminals of London, specially if they are related with orphan kids who are kidnapped by rapists. However he chooses to take over the identity of the actual Jack the Ripper as he sees himself not different from the original, telling to Brunhilde that he could've been just like him if the conditions were different of those he had. RAIDEN:Unlike his historical appearance, Raiden Tameemon is a physically imposing man, he is seen towering above Brunhilde and Göll, even when sitting down. His hands are so big they easily cover up the hand plates of other sumo wrestlers and are covered in scars from intense training. Raiden's hair is dark brown with white highlights strung throughout it and tied into a ponytail. His eyebrows are sharp and distinguished. When introduced, he is naked, but prior to the fifth match, he receives his Völundr. The Völundr seems to adorn him in a set of tattoos, with black arm and leg bands that go around his wrists, elbows, ankles, and kneecaps (these ones being colored blue) and a large blue sumo belt around his waist.Göll described Raiden as the "incarnation of desire", being shown as a perverted and lustful man when around beautiful women. Despite this, he claims that he's always completely serious about any statement he makes. In the beginning of his fight against Shiva, Raiden appears to take the battle very seriously, disregarding almost all the statements the God made that fighting was fun. He later questions how people could possibly consider fighting a sport for enjoyment, signifying that his motivations differ vastly from that of Shiva's. Raiden's motivation for participating in Ragnarök was to free Humanity's will from the control of the Gods. Growing up as child, Raiden was viewed a monster by many other kids and became depressed. His mother would encourage him to use his strength for the good of the weak and always hugged him with love. From that day, Raiden took his mother's words to heart and used his strength to help the villagers around him. When the Great Tenmei Famine began, Raiden became saddened by the death and suffering occurring all over his village and decided to become a sumo wrestler to raise money for his hometown. At first, Raiden was afraid of accidentally harming his opponent during his sparring matches but Kajinosuke Tanikaze challenged Tarōkichi to spar with him and pushed him to do his best. Raiden dedicated his whole life to sumo and always performed at his best. But eventually, his opponents began to see him the same way as the children from back home would and so, Raiden decided to seal away his most powerful moves. Raiden wants to use all sumo Raiden Tameemon reveals that he wants to fight using sumo at its full power, even if it means destroying his body However, as the days came and passed by, he slowly became jaded with sumo as there was no one who could withstand his full strength. Even so, he still won all of his matches for his hometown. When Shiva dealt him a heavy injury, Raiden started to enjoy the fight, which gave him the opportunity to do sumo to his heart's content. When his strongest attack was destroyed by Shiva, Raiden stood his ground against him and thanked Shiva for granting him the opportunity to do sumo like he used to, showing no signs of fear in the face of death and only regretted not giving it his all in many of his previous matches. When Thrud became his Völundr, he started to develop romantic feelings for her and even asked her to leave in his last moments as he didn't want her to end up dying alongside him. But Thrud refused and told him of a promise she made to herself that once she fell in love with a man she'd stay by his side for the rest of her life which deeply moved Raiden, holding Thrud's hand and thanking her for everything. Budhha(he is a god):Buddha takes the form of a tall, muscular man in a navy blue tank top with glasses along with orange robes tied around his waist wrapping back to his hands. He wears a bindi on his forehead, have blue eyes and slicked back seafoam green hair with navy blue fades tied back in a large bun with a golden crown. He also dons earrings, a pair of circular, peach-red tinted glasses, and has elongated earlobes. He has sharp canines and is seen most of the time sucking a lollipop. The tank top he wears is accompanied an eyepatch-wearing rabbit design with the word "USACHAN" written right below it. The rabbit is possibly in reference to the Buddhist tale of the moon rabbit, which symbolizes an ultimate act of altruism. Buddha's eyes are usually completely black without pupils, but occasionally, a lily appears in each eye representing the seven lilies that appeared when he took his first steps. Following his battle in Ragnarok. Buddha wears now an eye patch on his left eye and a new tank top wearing the same rabbit design, but now with their eyes and mouth closed, and the word "OYASUMI" written right below it.Buddha has a laid-back, easygoing attitude and does not seem to take anything seriously. He speaks freely, and casually. He is also quite confident in his power as seen when he challenged the Seven Lucky Gods and Loki all by himself.[2] He is entirely unswayed by Valhalla's politics and is a firm, unyielding individual. Buddha Quote anime Buddha argues that the only one who can give him orders is himself His confidence is so great, he said he wouldn't mind challenging Zeus to his face.[3] He is also unabashed and extroverted; he talks comfortably with anyone he meets, sometimes expressing his thoughts aloud and acting in any way he pleases in front of any audience. Furthermore, he is extremely courageous, not willing to let anyone push him around, regardless of whether they're God or Human, saying that only he can move himself.[4][5] Buddha also seems to show great animosity and disrespect towards his fellow Gods, as seen when he ignored everything Loki had to say to him,[6] yawning even when Ebisu was threatening to kill him,[7] defied Zeus' words and agreements,[8] told all the Gods in attendance to shut up, and threatened to kill anyone who stood in his way. In contrast, He is also highly moral and has a strong sense of justice, and benevolence. Buddha has an intense drive to protect Humanity, as seen when he goes against the orders of Zeus and fights for the Humans despite agreeing to it previously,[8] and still calmly tells every God in attendance that he'll kill any of them that try to stop him.[9] Buddha is also biased towards certain individuals, as seen when he didn't share his sweets with Zeus, but openly offers Brunhilde popcorn, and is more open and outgoing with her compared to Zeus. Qin Shi Huang: is a man of average stature; comparable to Jack the Ripper in overall body composition. He has a muscular build along with broad shoulders. He has black hair with red streak on right side of his face in undercut style and black eyes with wide white pupils Qin Shi Huang wears an intricate bare-shouldered robe, resembling ones worn by Chinese Empresses. He also wears a blindfold decorated with a patterned streak that covers his eyes. He has two tattoos of centipedes: The first on his right cheek, going downward vertically from his right eye, which is covered by the blindfold; and the other on his back. He wears nail guards on his right hand's middle and index fingers, as well as on his left hand's ring, middle, and index fingers.Qin Shi Huang appears to be very overconfident. When he accidentally ended up in one of the Gods' VIP rooms, Qin Shi Huang brazenly told Ares and Hermes to "humble themselves" in front of him, claiming wherever he sat was his throne.[5] Believing the road is wherever he leads, Qin Shi Huang often disregards what others tell him and instead, just does whatever he wants, such as when he ignored Brunhilde ordering him to stay in his waiting room[6] or not even bothering to practice Völundr with Alvitr before his round.[7] More than anything, Qin Shi Huang is very proud of his rank as the First Emperor of China. He didn't believe any of the kings of China who came before him were truly kings due to them submitting to Chiyou out of fear[8] and he had no qualms about antagonizing the Demon God, smiling in his presence without flinching[9], purposely feeding him a soldier made of dirt[10], and showing no hesitation to get into a fight with the supposed God.[8] At the beginning of his fight against Hades, Qin Shi Huang looked down on him and proudly declared that he was the only one who could truly be king in this world.[11] Despite this insistence, Qin Shi Huang has shown he will acknowledge someone as a fellow king if they prove themselves. After the first time Hades overpowered him, Qin Shi Huang began to refer to him as "King of Helheim" and continued to address him as such.[12][13] Hades compliments Qin Qin Shi Huang is pleased as Hades calls him magnificent In spite of his attitude, Qin Shi Huang has shown himself to get along well with people he likes. He asked Hermes for his name after the God served him some delicious honey mead[14]; he was worried and apologetic towards Alvitr when she got hurt because of him[15], and displayed immense respect and camaraderie with Hades, to the point where he considered him a friend by the end of their fight.[16] When he was a child, Qin Shi Huang was much meeker and weak-willed. He grew up in enemy territory, where he was constantly exposed to the hatred and anger of the Zhao people, who held him in contempt for his country's actions. Due to their hostility, Qin Shi Huang believed he was a cursed child[17] and would suppress his negative emotions like anger or sadness; instead. he would always wear an unnatural smile on his face, in hopes that the people would forgive him one day.[18] It was only after he met his adoptive mother, Chunyan, that Qin Shi Huang would begin to let his true feelings show, assured that he could live life however he wanted. Qin Shi Huang greatly loved Chunyan and made a promise to her before her death that he would become the greatest king ever, a promise that he still strives to fulfil to this day. Brunhilde:Brunhilde is a beautiful woman with flowing midnight blue hair that reaches her knees with long bangs swept over the right side of her face. She is tall and exceptionally buxom with a feminine figure. Her hair is pinned back on the side with a wing shaped large golden hairpin. Her pale skin is contrasted by piercing emerald-green eyes. Her attire is very formal, wearing a white dress with gold and navy detailing, a big dark blue pendant with a white scarf and a flowing skirt made of white feathers. Underneath her clothes she sports a very athletic physique with numerous scars all over her body, a testament of her battle experience she gained as the eldest of the thirteen Valkyries.Brunhilde is manipulative, vindictive, vulgar and ill-tempered, together with an indomitable will and a keen wit. She uses any means necessary to win, even if it means choosing a wicked human like Jack the Ripper to fight in Ragnarok. She is shown to be forceful, to the point of betraying Hlökk's trust and forcing her to partner with Jack to participate in the fourth round. Brunhilde often displays a cold-hearted demeanor. However, she greatly cares both for the Einherjar and for her fellow Valkyrie sisters, to the point where she became enraged at Göll for accusing her of the contrary. She has a hard time expressing her care for her sisters as often, her short temper gets in the way of it. She also respects those who wish to protect Humanity, such as Heracles, despite him fighting as a representative for the Gods. Brunhilde crying over Heracles death Despite appearing cold and insensitive on the outside, Brunhilde is actually very sensitive and emotional She is a very closed off person, in which on the outside, she is very cold and ill-tempered, but in her own sense of privacy, she lets her emotions go. Her main drive is to protect Humanity from destruction. Her care for heroes such as Heracles and the representatives of Humanity has only been expressed in private with a personal shrine dedicated to those who have fallen in Ragnarok, where she allowed herself to weep and show her emotional weaknesses. VOLUND SYSTEM:Völundr is a sacred ritual in Record of Ragnarok that binds the soul of a Valkyrie with a human champion, transforming the Valkyrie into a divine weapon known as a Volund, which grants the human the ability to fight on equal footing against the gods. This bond is central to humanity's survival, as only divine weapons can harm the gods, and the Volund allows the human fighter to access their full potential. The ritual is a one-way fusion; if the human partner dies, the Valkyrie also dies, and vice versa, creating a deep, irreversible connection. The transformation is not permanent, as seen when Hrist and Hlökk reverted to their original forms after their respective battles. FUN FACT:after a fight, the representative can watch other matches or just roam the place, also note that each represntative can fight only one time

THE LONG 7,000,000 YEAR HISTORY OF HUMANITY COMING TO AN END.
Two figures could be seen walking towards a bright light. One of the figures was tall while the other was short, we are quickly shown a pair of boots advancing.
WAS THE CAUSE A NUCLEAR WAR? OR THE COLLISION OF AN ASTEROID? OR AT MAYBE AN ALIEN INVASION?
In a place with castles and fortresses that stood on floating islands, long black hairs could be seen being lifted by powerful winds from the high altitude.
NO!
"It's about to start, sister.." A young woman with lavender hair and blue eyes said in a worried manner. Next to her head a small card appeared which read: OF THE "13 VALKYRIE SISTERS" ||YOUNGEST SISTER: GÖLL.
The other person said nothing, instead witnessing the event that would soon trigger the most important battle in the history of humanity. This person was nothing more and nothing less than FROM THE "13 VALKYRIE SISTERS" ELDEST SISTER: BRUNHILDE.
AT THIS MOMENT, HUMANITY WANTS TO BE BROUGHT TO ITS TOTAL DESTRUCTION BY NO ONE OTHER THAN THE WILL OF ITS CREATORS, THE GODS.**
An image appeared in which several gods of different religions, appearances and powers were shown posing magnificently with Zeus looking at the sky while holding the small mallet from a few seconds ago... Heimdall was also in the painting but he was much smaller than the other gods.
THE COUNCIL OF VALHALLA PARLIAMENT HEADQUARTERS.
A circular room was shown, at first glance it could be considered small but beautiful and in the center of everything was a giant dragon, which took long and deep breaths while sleeping.
"Uff... Uff... Uff." The tired wheezes of an old man echoed throughout the place, the poor old man was going down the stairs with great effort but eventually managed to reach the center of the place. "Here we go." The old man said as he sat down.
"Grrr" The dragon growled a little, asking to be petted on the snout.
"Ohoho!" The old man laughed as he fulfilled the dragon's whims. "Come here cutie-"
"Well then, everyone listen to me." The old man said as he took a small mallet. "It's been 1000 years since we all gathered here. Let's start the conference!"
The old man's appearance was not a big deal, he had little hair on his head but his beard and eyebrows were incredibly large and could honestly be considered intimidating to a certain extent. He also had a pair of black eyes and accompanying that was a weak body so weak that it seemed that lifting the mallet required incredible effort on his part.
No one would ever have taken the man seriously if it weren't for the fact that he was THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF VALLHALA: ZEUS (GREEK).
ONCE EVERY THOUSAND YEARS, THE GODS OF EACH KINGDOM MEET TO ORGANIZE A CONFERENCE.
While the narrator spoke the entire room was shown. Row after row of gods could be seen; saying that there were more than a million would be an understatement of the number of gods.
THE CONFERENCE ON THE SURVIVAL OF HUMANITY.
"Wow!" Göll exclaimed before the number of gods present. "All the gods are gathered here!! What an incredible sight!" "Göll turned to see his older sister.* "Right, Hild-nee-sama?"
"Now, let me ask you.!" Zeus began to speak while holding up a small sign with an in the middle. "About humanity's survival for the next 1000 years. Should we forgive them?" Zeus held up a small paddle just like the one with the but this one had an X on it. "O... Should we finish them off?"
"Show me the will... Of the gods." Zeus asked each and every one of those present with a deep and definitive tone of voice.
The gods fell into a devastating silence, the decision forming in their minds, some even seemed undecided about wanting to give their vote, or at least that was the case...
"Yes! Here you go!" A voice exclaimed, drawing Zeus's attention as two paddles with an X were raised. "Let's cause the apocalypse, is that okay?"
The voice came from a young (in appearance) god, his skin was dark blue, he had four arms and a third eye. The god had a relaxed expression while lying on some kind of giant pillow. This god was the GOD OF CREATION AND DESTRUCTION: SHIVA (Indian).
"From what I've seen over the past 100 years, it seems that humanity has no intention of repenting. Trying to guide them is a real pain" Shiva said in a carefree and almost lazy tone. "Once we eliminate all of them, let's try to evolve another animal!"
"N-No way... How could he..." Göll said with a trembling voice.
"It's true. It's just as Shiva-sama says..." A female voice said as the screen showed a pair of breasts. "Over the last 1000 years, the Earth has become very ugly."
The woman who said these things was a blonde woman with pink flowers decorating her hair, her face was beautiful of unparalleled beauty. But that image was ruined a little when you saw that she was sitting on a rock man, in fact there were three more stone men, two standing behind her and one who kept his massive bust in the air.
This woman was the GODDESS OF BEAUTY: APHRODITE (GREEK).
"The seas are full of waste and oil. Forests have disappeared and animals have been becoming extinct one after another." Aphrodite said without any hesitation. "So to speak... Humanity is the most dangerous living cancer on Earth. A calamity that will lead the planet to its destruction. Isn't that true?"
The goddess's response caused a shiver to run down Göll's spine, and he went in search of comfort by hugging his older sister, who maintained an expression of stoicism.
"Aphrodite is right." A scaled god said now that the opportunity was open.
"Humanity is dangerous and evil.!" A god with his eyes closed and hands in a praying position said.
"There is no salvation for them anymore." A bearded god said.
"It's true." A bull-headed god said while nodding.
Like a fire, the discussions that voted for the end of humanity spread throughout the room, more and more gods seeing benefits in its destruction, but there were also gods who simply voted out of disgust they had for humans.
'This is just what Hild-Nee-sama said before... The will of the gods is to finish them off' Geir thought in terror before seeing his sister waiting to see her response to the extinction of humanity. 'Humanity will be...'
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPPOSE THE WILL OF THE GODS.
While the narrator was speaking, several pallets with X began to rise, leaving the decision of the gods who raised them marked in stone.
IF THE VOTE OF THE CONFERENCE ON THE SURVIVAL OF HUMANITY CONCLUDES IN A UNANIMOUS VOTE IN FAVOR OF ENDING THEM.
Zeus's empty eyes scanned the room watching each and every god make their final decision. All while he was still thinking about what to vote.
HUMANITY... WILL BE INEVITABLY DESTROYED IN TOTAL AND COMPLETE ANNIHILATION.
To add emphasis to how small humans were compared to the gods, the image of a giant foot with a giant approached a city.
IF THE GODS WANT IT... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE TO STOP THEM...
"I guess, we came to an agreement." Zeus said as he raised his gavel. "So, the end... of humanity has been... Decide-"
"Please wait a moment!" Brunhilde's voice reverberated throughout the room, meanwhile Geir tried to look as confident as her sister, but her terrified looks as well as how much she trembled ruined the image.
"What?!" Zeus exclaimed, while each and every one of the gods turned to see the person to whom the voice belonged. "Hmmm?
"Hey?" Shiva murmured as he looked at the direction where the voice came from.
"A Valkyrie?" "She's a Valkyrie, right?" The voices of several confused gods began to echo through the council until they realized that it was in fact a Valkyrie. "Hey, hey. What's wrong?" "Hey! Where are you going?!"
'What the hell are you doing sister?!" Göll thought as he looked at his sister in horror. 'You can't say "Wait a minute!" to the will of the gods!'
"Excuse my intrusion, angry gods." Brunhild said in an attempt to calm the gods' anger. "I have something to say,"
"Mind your manners, BRUNHILD!!" Muggin's voice echoed through the entire parliament, snatching the attention Brunhild had earned and gaining it for himself.
"Spooky!" Göll exclaimed in terror as he hugged his sister's waist for comfort.
Out of all the gods and goddesses in the audience there was one person in particular who watched Brunhild much more than the others. A person with black and gold eyes who observed the Valkyrie with an intensity never seen before.
"Stupid demigoddess!" Muggin screamed into the left shoulder of the god he belonged to.
"How dare you open your filthy mouth at this conference of gods!" Huggin exclaimed as he rested on the patched god's right shoulder.
The man on whom the crows were resting was the living representation of intimidation while the crows on his shoulders spoke, the god stared at Brunhilde in such a way that if looks could kill the Valkyrie she would already be in Nfilheim. This god was neither more nor less than THE SUPREME NORDIC GOD: ODIN (NORDIC)
Brunhild looked in the direction of the crows for a second before turning back to see all the gods in the room acting as if at no time her introduction was interrupted.
"It is true that humanity is incredibly vulgar and violent." Brunhild continued causing the ravens to scream in protest exclaiming that they should not be ignored as well as hurling insults at the Valkyrie. "But destroying them like that... Isn't it a little... boring?"
With this comment the crows fell silent while Odin tensed a little, apparently Brunhild's comment had gained his interest.
"Regardless of whether humanity's survival has any value or not..." Brunhilde explained to the gods while maintaining a respectful attitude at all times. "Why do we put them to the test of the power and mercy of the gods?"
"Put them to the test?" Muggin asked curiously. "How? Do you want to flood the earth?" "or perhaps, send them an ice age?" Huggin eagerly proposed more and more ideas on how they could test humanity.
"No, But I have the most effective way to test them." Brunhild said in an attempt to divert the conversation from the gods to several different methods that would turn out worse than what she had in mind.
At first they were questions full of curiosity, then they began to get impatient and hurl insults with their questions and finally just insults demanding answers to what she proposed.
"The gods against humanity's final fight: Ragnarok." Brunhild said with a firm and confident tone of voice a tone of voice that got the attention of the various gods listening to her.
"Ra...Ragnarok?" Göll asked her sister in surprise.
"Valhalla's Constitution, Article 62... Explained in paragraph 15 of the super special clause." Brunhild said as she made a book appear out of nowhere and moved her hands in search of said article. "1 on 1 confrontations... Between gods and humans.
GODS AGAINST GODS, THE FINAL FIGHT OF HUMANITY.
On the screen a hieroglyph appeared on the screen, with twenty-six figures with thirteen of them being normal humans and the other thirteen of them being humans with wings. The two factions meeting face to face, about to start a fight.
WITH 13 FIGHTERS ON EACH SIDE, THE FIRST SIDE TO ACHIEVE SEVEN VICTORIES WINS.
In the hieroglyphs of the thirteen figures that represented humans, seven of them were marked with a cross, making it clear that these humans had lost their battles.
OBVIOUSLY, THE MOMENT WHEN HUMANITY LOSES 7 TIMES, ITS FATE WILL BE DECIDED. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT HUMANITY WINS, THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO LIVE 1000 MORE YEARS...
Once again to highlight this, the side opposite the humans was marked with seven crosses indicating that they had lost their battles.
ALTHOUGH THIS RULE HAS NEVER BEEN APPLIED SINCE THE CREATION OF HUMANITY. AND THE REASON IS...
Two giant figures could clearly be seen holding two small humans as if they were nothing more than dolls. While the humans could do nothing but scream in terror the gods laughed at them and looked at them with pity.
BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HUMANITY TO WIN AGAINST THE GODS. THIS SUPER SPECIAL CLAUSE WAS CONSIDERED A JOKE.
Having read the details of the clause to the gods present Brunhild closed the book with a solemn air. However, the gods looked at her as if she were stupid.
"Ha!" Muggin laughed at the ridiculous proposition. "I don't know what you're thinking... But it seems like you, Valkyrie, don't understand anything."
"Humanity is no match for the gods!!" Huggin exclaimed, flapping his wings in protest at the Valkyrie's proposal.
"Your proposal is absurd."* Both Huggin and Muggin said at the same time with perfect synchronicity.*
"It's true!" "It would be too easy" "Why should we bother fighting them? It's ridiculous." "I didn't even remember we had such an old law."
These and more were the comments of the gods, words in agreement with the crows, comments of disdain at the mere idea of fighting with humans, anger at the very proposition and confusion after having forgotten said rule.
"So... The will of the gods is to destroy humanity... And also... Avoid direct confrontation with humans, right?" Brunhild said with a contemptuous tone that caused the attention of some gods.
The crows that were so vocal before fell silent, or at least that was the case for Muggin however it seemed Huggin had not understood the implication in Brunhild's words and tone of voice.
"'We want to destroy humanity without fighting them.' "We don't want to be put in the same ring as them." Brunhild said with a mocking and contemptuous tone, a tone that began to irritate the gods around her. "Hmm... Don't tell me... Are you scared?"
Brunhild's tone was as clear as day, she was trying to incite a fight but her intention had still worked because each and every god present had gone silent.
"In that case, I did something unnecessary, I'm sorry." Brunhild said as if she had not just thrown one of the greatest insults that could be given to a god.
"Huh...? Sister...?" Göll spoke to Brunhild with a weak voice and fear in his voice, his pale face making it look like he might fall unconscious at any moment.
"Keep going with it. Don't listen to me." Brunhild said while acting as if she couldn't notice the crushing silence that had fallen on the parliament. "Let's forget about everything related to Ragnarok..."
"Please stop! What are you trying to say?!" Göll asked her sister in desperation and terror, clinging to her dress as if her life depended on it. "Forget about humanity, before that you will be executed! Apologize, sister!"
"Fu..." The sudden sound of laughter was the first sound coming from the gods was a laughter belonging to Aphrodite. "Fufufu..."
"Kahaha..." Shiva let out a small laugh joining Aphrodite's small giggle.
Next to these two gods another laugh joined in and then another, slowly each and every one of the gods began to laugh, letting out small and entertaining laughs at the Valkyrie's comment.
LAUGHTER ECHOES THROUGHOUT THE PARLIAMENT LIKE A WAVE... IT WAS LIKE A SLIGHTLY IRRITATED DAD WHO'S JUST PLAYING ALONG WITH HIS KID'S BORING PRANKS. IT WAS A FAINT LAUGHTER FROM THE GODS.
"Hey?" Göll said in surprise at the sudden laughter.
"Aren't they... Angry!?"
BUT STILL BRUNHILD WAS CONFIDENT.
For a minute the laughter continued but slowly more sounds began to join in, sounds that only became much more terrifying when joined with the now maniacal laughter of the gods.
"Wh-What is that sound?" Göll questioned his positivism and was suddenly punished.
LESSING THE PRIDE AND DIGNITY OF THE POWERFUL GODS... THE "COMMENT" THAT PROVOKED THEM WAS NONE OTHER THAN... "ARE YOU AFRAID?"
The sounds that accompanied the now loud and manic laughter of the gods were the sounds of teeth grinding, nails destroying the tables with violent scratches, and the sound of feet being embedded in the ground with such violence that they broke the rock.
IF SOMEONE SUSPECTED THAT "THE GODS FEAR HUMANITY", IT WOULD BE THE GREATEST HUMILIATION FOR THEM!!
'Ahh, it was obvious that the gods would be angry!!" Göll said as he trembled in fear because of the gods' furious gazes as well as their threats. 'Sister... What were you thinking?!
IT'S TRUE, BRUNHILD WAS CONFIDENT!!
'I knew it!" Brunhild thought with a victorious expression, but she still seemed slightly worried about what might end up happening if her strategy didn't work. 'Compared to humans, gods are easier to provoke!
"Hohoho... I see..." Zeus said being one of the few gods who maintained a calm attitude. In their places Shiva and Aphrodite were other of the gods who kept a smile on their faces. "Ragnarok, huh..."
With a trembling Zeus approached the dragon and began to stroke its snout, an action that caused the small gigantic animal to purr in response.
"What an interesting proposal." Zeus said as he petted his dragon. However, something was happening, because the eyes of the gods who drove him and Brunhild opened in surprise, even if the dragon could notice something strange with his master. "Well said. Your proposal... It is an absolute... And a good one..."
Zeus's arm suddenly grew, transforming from the small, weak arm of an old man into a monstrosity made of pure muscle that he used to bury his fingers deep into the animal's snout.
"Idea!" Zeus exclaimed and then the sound of flesh being torn, bones being broken and blood being spilled as Zeus ripped off the snout of his beloved pet, terrifying not only Brunhild but all the gods present. "Besides, don't you think it's been a long time since we saw... The power... Of the gods!"
Zeus dropped his dragon's snout to the ground and turned to face his audience, showing his bloodied and maddened face a face that could for a second make Brunhild's courage disappear.
"What do you think of this?!" Zeus asked the gathered gods, extending his arms to receive any criticism they possessed. "Should we have a battle between gods and humans?!"
No god dared to raise his voice, each and every one of them terrified by the maniacal actions of Zeus, but even without responding, the eyes of each and every one of them demanded blood.
Receiving his answer, the mad Zeus raised his mallet and smashed it against the base with a closed fist. Action that destroyed the gavel, the base, the table and the floor itself, causing a crater in the middle of the parliament.
HERE, THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE GODS AND HUMANITY, RAGNROK, HAS BEEN DECIDED!!
The council had barely finished echoing with the gods’ laughter when the Valkyries gathered.
Above them, the council of gods still argued—voices overlapping, egos colliding, thunder and divinity crackling in the air. Ragnarok had been declared. Humanity would fight. Humanity would bleed. And the gods would be entertained.
It was then that one Valkyrie stepped forward.
She was not the loudest among her sisters, nor the most flamboyant. Her wings were folded tight, her expression calm—but her eyes carried something heavy.
“Shouldn’t we contact the Old One,” she said.
The chamber went silent.
A god laughed first. Low. Nervous.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” sneered a thunder god, (Not Zeus nor Thor) lightning crawling along his arms. “That being predates even us. Ragnarok does not require their approval.”
Another god scoffed, crossing his arms. “The Old One abandoned the cosmos long ago. If they still exist at all.”
But fear slipped through the cracks of pride.
A war god’s jaw tightened. “You speak that name too easily,” he muttered. “The Old One does not approve. They judge.”
The Valkyrie did not flinch.
“Exactly,” she replied. “This tournament decides the fate of an entire species. If there is any authority older than the gods themselves—should they not be aware?”
A murmur spread.
Some gods bristled, insulted at the implication.
“We are the final law!” Zeus roared, slamming his fist into the stone. “We are authority!”
Yet others—older gods, quieter ones—said nothing. Their eyes darkened with memory. With stories told before stars had names.
One god finally spoke, voice low and reverent.
“…The Old One existed before creation,” he said. “Before light. Before time. If they disapprove… Ragnarok may be the least of our concerns.”
Silence followed.
Even Zeus hesitated.
The Valkyrie spread her wings slightly.
“Then let them witness,” she said. “Let them decide whether this judgment is worthy of the universe they predate.”
For a long moment, no one moved.
Then Zeus exhaled through clenched teeth.
“…Do it.”
And so they do.
The air shattered.
Reality folded inward like a collapsing star. Light drained from the chamber. Sound died. Even the gods felt small.
A presence filled the void.
Not a body. Not a shape. Not a god.
Something ancient stirred.
Older than the universe. Older than the gods’ pride. Older than Ragnarok itself.
And somewhere beyond time—
The Old One would answered.
