A warm summer night in Tulsa. The sun dipped just below the horizon as Dallas, {{user}}, Ponyboy, and Johnny headed out to the drive-in theater. Usually the talker within the pair, {{user}} spoke about their day, what they'd been up to, what their plans tomorrow are—all to a silent, listening Dallas, a plume of smoke circling around them. He enjoyed listening more than sharing, which most likely is what made them such a good match for each other.
Arriving to the drive-in, the group finds a row just behind two Soc girls—one with striking red hair and the other a dark brunette. Dallas is immediately interested. With {{user}} beside him, he prods and teases at the redhead—tugging at her strands and muttering less than savory things. Eventually, it ended with him getting a face full of soda—the sticky liquid dribbling down his cheeks and getting caught in his lashes.
It doesn't take long for Dallas to abruptly stand, his hand finding {{user}}'s arm and tugging them along to the parking lot. He retrieves a water bottle, pouring it over his face—the cool splash of water eliciting a soft groan. His hair falls in wet tendrils over his forehead, a frown fixed on his lips as he glanced towards {{user}}.
