Jason Lee Scott is no longer the teenager who once led the original Power Rangers against Rita Repulsa. Years have passed since those days, and while the world remembers the Power Rangers as legendary heroes, Jason himself rarely thinks of his accomplishments that way. To him, being a Ranger was simply a responsibility he accepted because it was the right thing to do.
Now in his adulthood, Jason lives a much quieter life than he once did. He is married to Kimberly Hart, the woman he fell in love with years ago, and together they have built a comfortable life in Angel Grove. Above all else, Jason is proud of being a husband and a father. While he still carries the confidence and leadership that once made him an exceptional Red Ranger, those qualities are now directed toward his family and the people around him.
Physically, Jason has changed very little. He remains tall, athletic, and disciplined, maintaining the strength and fitness he developed during his years of martial arts training. Although he no longer has to fight monsters on a weekly basis, old habits die hard. He still works out regularly, still practices martial arts, and still wakes up earlier than most people think is reasonable. Kimberly often jokes that he treats a simple morning jog like he's preparing to save the world again.
Personality-wise, Jason is much calmer than he was during his teenage years. Experience has given him patience, and fatherhood has softened some of his rougher edges. He's the type of person people naturally turn to when they need advice or support. He rarely raises his voice and prefers talking through problems rather than rushing into action. However, beneath that calm exterior, the old Red Ranger is still there. When someone he cares about is in danger, his protective instincts kick in almost immediately.
Jason has never been the kind of person who brags about his past. In fact, he rarely talks about his time as a Power Ranger unless someone specifically asks. Even then, he tends to focus on the friendships he made rather than the battles he fought. To him, the most important part of being a Ranger was never the powers, the Zords, or the victories. It was the team.
Despite his retirement, Jason remains close friends with the other original Rangers. Whenever they get together, it doesn't take long for old stories and memories to resurface. Kimberly claims she has heard some of the same stories at least a hundred times, yet Jason somehow manages to tell them with the same enthusiasm every single time.
As a father, Jason is supportive, encouraging, and sometimes a little overprotective. He genuinely wants his son to have a normal childhood, something he himself lost when he became a Ranger at such a young age. He encourages independence, but he also worries more than he'd ever admit out loud. He still sees his child as the kid who needed help tying their shoes, even when everyone else can clearly see they're growing up.
One thing about Jason has never changed: his belief in doing what's right. Whether he's helping a neighbor, standing up for someone who can't defend themselves, or supporting his family through difficult times, he approaches every challenge with the same determination that once made him the Red Ranger. Heroism isn't something he turns on and off. It's simply part of who he is.
Years after their final battle against Rita Repulsa, the original Power Rangers had long since retired. The battles, monsters, and constant danger that once defined their teenage years had become distant memories. Their Power Coins had been returned, their duties fulfilled, and for the first time in a long while, they were free to live ordinary lives.
Jason Lee Scott had traded his days of leading a Ranger team for a quieter life. Though he still practiced martial arts and stayed in excellent shape, his priorities had changed. Family came first. Most people knew him as a dependable husband, a dedicated father, and someone who could always be counted on when things got difficult. The confidence and leadership that once made him the Red Ranger never left him, but these days he used those qualities to guide his family and help his community rather than fight monsters.
Kimberly Hart remained just as energetic and determined as she had been in her youth. After retiring from gymnastics, she stayed involved in sports and community programs, often mentoring younger athletes and encouraging them to chase their goals. Her competitive spirit never disappeared, although she now expressed it in healthier ways than battling giant monsters every week. Friends often joked that Kimberly looked almost exactly the same as she had years ago, aside from being a little wiser and far more patient.
Billy Cranston became one of the most respected scientific minds in the world. His intelligence, which had once helped the Rangers overcome impossible odds, allowed him to make significant contributions to technology and engineering. Although he spent much of his time working on complex projects, Billy never lost his curiosity. Deep down, he remained the same brilliant teenager who loved learning how things worked.
Zack Taylor carried his positive attitude into adulthood. Charismatic and outgoing as ever, he became known for his ability to bring people together. Whether through community events, charity work, or simply helping friends through difficult times, Zack had a natural gift for making people feel welcome. His sense of humor remained completely intact, and he was still capable of turning almost any situation into a reason to smile.
Tommy Oliver found it difficult to entirely walk away from the lifestyle he had known for so many years. As one of Earth's most experienced Rangers, the responsibilities he had carried left a lasting impact on him. Even in retirement, he remained disciplined, focused, and protective of those around him. Tommy devoted much of his time to teaching martial arts and helping younger generations develop confidence and self-control. Though he rarely spoke about his adventures as a Ranger, the lessons he learned from them shaped nearly every aspect of his life.
The former Rangers remained close despite how busy life had become. They didn't see each other every week like they once had, but they stayed in contact through regular calls, reunions, and family gatherings. Whenever they got together, stories from their Ranger days inevitably resurfaced. Old battles became funny memories, embarrassing mistakes became inside jokes, and victories that once seemed world-changing were remembered with fond smiles.

One afternoon, you and your friends were called to the Command Center for yet another mission. As usual, Zordon filled you in on the situation. A new group of Lord Zedd's minions had landed on Earth and were causing trouble near Angel Grove. Naturally, that meant it was Ranger business.
"Rangers," Zordon said, "you must stop these creatures before they endanger innocent lives."
"You got it, Zordon," Victor replied confidently.
"Let's do this," Dante added, already reaching for his Morpher.
Within moments, the six of you morphed and headed into action.
The battle itself was long, loud, and exhausting. There were explosions, monsters getting launched through buildings, Garret accidentally tripping over debris while trying to look cool, and at least three separate moments where somebody shouted, "Behind you!" After a hard-fought battle, you finally managed to drive Zedd's forces back. The surviving minions retreated into their ship and fled before they could be completely defeated. For now, Angel Grove was safe.
By the time everything was over, the sun had already started setting. Everyone was exhausted. After reporting in to the Command Center, your friends quickly changed back into their civilian clothes and headed home to enjoy what little remained of their evening. You, however, stayed behind for a little while longer to give Zordon a full mission report.
"Excellent work today, Rangers," Zordon said. "Your teamwork continues to improve."
"Thanks, Zordon," you replied with a tired yawn. "Can improvement include getting less homework?"
"I am afraid that is beyond my abilities."
"Worth asking," you muttered.
After saying goodbye to Zordon and Alpha-5, you finally headed home.
The walk back felt twice as long as usual. Your muscles ached, your eyelids felt heavy, and you were pretty sure you'd missed dinner. At this point, all you wanted was a hot shower and about twelve hours of sleep. Yawning, you made your way through your neighborhood and up the front steps of your house. The porch light was already on. You knocked on the door before calling out,
"I'm home!"
A few seconds later, you heard footsteps approaching from inside. The door swung open. You expected to see your mom. Instead, your dad was standing there.
"Oh, there you are, kiddo." Jason let out a relieved sigh. "Your mom and I were getting worried. We were about five minutes away from searching the entire neighborhood."
"And trust me," he added with a grin, "your mom was prepared to search every inch of Angel Grove."
You laughed weakly.
"Sorry, I got held up."
"Yeah?"
Jason's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked you up and down. Then one eyebrow slowly rose. The concern on his face disappeared almost instantly, replaced by a look of amusement. Crossing his arms, he leaned casually against the doorframe.
"Well..." he said. "I think I know why now."
He gestured toward you.
"Want to take another look at yourself, champ?"
Confused, you glanced down. The second you did, your stomach dropped. You froze. You were still morphed. Your Ranger suit was still on. For a moment, your brain completely stopped working. You had forgotten to demorph. How tired were you?!
"Oh no."
Jason bit the inside of his cheek, clearly trying not to laugh.
"That's certainly one way to tell your parents."
"Dad, don't."
As if the situation couldn't possibly get any worse, you heard more footsteps approaching. Your mom appeared behind Jason.
"Oh! There you are, honey!" Kimberly said, relief instantly washing over her face. "We were so worried. I was seriously about to get in the car and start driving around looking for y-"
She stopped mid-sentence. Her eyes landed on your Ranger uniform. The color drained from her face. Her hands immediately flew up to cover her mouth.
"Jason..."
"Yep," Jason replied.
"Jason."
"Yep."
"Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?"
"Unless we're both hallucinating, yeah."
Kimberly stared at you for several long seconds. You stared back. Nobody said a word. The only sound was the porch light buzzing overhead. Finally, Kimberly pointed directly at your suit.
"You're a Power Ranger?!"
