∆lice is the overarching antagonist of Fundamental Paper Education. She resides in her room, which is located somewhere in Paper School. She is Oliver's childhood friend and girlfriend. Δlice is a seemingly normal girl with short brown messy hair and tan skin with a pointed ahoge atop her head, a white princess tiara, and a black bow on the left side of her head. She sports a white collared desaturated blue-grey long-sleeved shirt with two white buttons, however, her sleeves appears to be damaged by tears. She wears a black necklace with a bronze triangle crossed through by two lines on it. Her attire is finished with a black tea-length skirt with a white waistband, white semicircle outline designs on the end with dots in between the semicircles, accompanied by white socks and black mary-janes. She appears to have a reddish scar on each leg. Partially Transformed While Δlice‘s appearance mostly remains the same, part of her true form shows. Her clothes seem more tattered and ripped. She dons a tattered poncho with a brown patch appearing on the right side of the poncho with a rhombus symbol on it and a bandage wrapped around both of her sleeves. She still has a black bow but on the right side of her head. The white princess tiara changes to a black crown, and a strange red rash appears on the right side of her face. The top part of her face is obscured, thus only one eye is visible. Six small black spikes poke out from behind her, one of them wrapped in a bandage. Her left leg is covered in three cuts and scars, and she appears to accessorize a black legcuff on her right ankle. Her black skirt has two brown patches with a rhombus and stitches. As seen in a few artworks, she also has a bandage wrapped around her chest. True Form At the end of Basics in Behavior, Δlice is seen in her true form. She takes on a demonic appearance, pitch black and silhouetted with bright red scleras and black slit pupils. Six large black spikes poke out from behind her, and three long tendrils occasionally extend from her back. She has long black claws, and she also has a long black tail. Additionally, she appears to grow in height, as depicted in official artwork where she is much taller than Oliver and Connor.[2] Δlice is aggressive, willing to kill anyone who enters her room. This is seen in Basics in Behavior when Zip and Oliver disguise her room as an exit door to trick Claire. It is possible that Δlice is more dangerous than the teachers, due to how she's locked away and isolated in her room, with "DON'T ENTER" signs on the door. This could also be backed up by the three teacher's reactions to Claire booking it to Δlice's room, as they seem to show signs of fear. She is seen being passive with Oliver in multiple official artworks,[3] indicating that she might only be nice to those who are close with her.
Oliver is a character featured in Fundamental Paper Education, and the central antagonist in Basics in Behavior. He is ∆lice's childhood friend and boyfriend. Oliver has ankle-length white hair that is tied into a bottom ponytail with a black bow. He has black horns and a red circled "A+" mark on the right side of his hair. He also has a large split ahoge atop his head. Additionally, his right arm is replaced with a pencil. Strangely, his tongue appears to be forked, similar to that of a snake. His outfit consists of a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and hems, along with a rhombus with a slash in the center of his shirt. His attire is finished with white knee-high socks, black boots with white shorts, accessorized with a watch on his left arm. Like Zip and Edward, Oliver is described to be a bully to other students. In Basics in Behavior, Oliver is shown to be teasing and often picked on Claire. He is also shown to have a snarky and playful attitude, as he and Zip tricked Claire into entering ∆lice's room, making her believe it was an exit. Whether or not he intended for Claire to die, he appears to be sociopathic, as he took his prank so far as to let someone die. He also appears to be madly in love with ∆lice, despite her violent, cannibalistic, cruel actions and even joins in on her.[1] Oliver also appears to be rather violent and has little to no care for his health, as he eats non-edible things, some of which are harmful to him, such as razor blades and soap.[2] Additionally, Oliver is implied to like drawing in his free time, as shown at the start of Basics in Behavior, where we can see multiple drawings of the other students and teachers in a notebook, such as Riley, Zip, ∆lice Miss Circle, and Oliver himself. Oliver also appears to be a bit arrogant, calling himself handsome in the same notebook. Furthermore, he is seen drawing with Connor in an official artwork.
Zip is a major antagonist featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She is a student who attends Paper School. Zip's hair is two-toned, with the left side being black and the right side being white. The longer part of her hair is tied into a low ponytail. On the right side of her head, she has an incorrect math equation; "2 + 2 = 8", which is colored blue. Additionally, she has a swirly-squarish ahoge on the left side of her hair. She sports a white sleeveless dress along with a white short poncho over it, with the top of the poncho being covered in multiple drawings. The drawings consist of a blue smiley face on the left side, a blue house in the middle, and a red tree on the right side. She notably has a spiked dragon tail, accompanied by long black boots with heels. Notably, Zip is often seen wearing pirate accessories, more specifically a pirate hat and a hook. Alongside Oliver and Edward, Zip is known to be a bully who causes trouble and often bullies other students. She is seen hanging around Oliver and Edward, constantly picking on Claire. However, she has been seen playing with her little brother in the pool, implying that she may be kind to those she's close to. Besides this, she is shown to have a playful and misleading personality, as both she and Oliver deceive Claire into entering ∆lice's room.
Edward is a minor antagonist featured in Fundamental Paper Education. He attends Paper School as a student. Edward has spiky, long white hair with a pair of short black horns, accessorized with round black glasses he wears atop his head. He has black arms and legs, pointy fingers, and a black twisted imp tail. He sports a black collared shirt with buttons, the lower half of the shirt colored white. His attire is finished with big black boots. It is seen in Basics in Behavior that Edward is one of the bullies of Paper School, alongside Zip and Oliver. He appears to be very creative and innovative, as he made a drone to grab Claire and throw her down the pit in the library. He also may have an interest in science, hence an official artwork depicting Edward with a beaker.[1]
Claire is the main protagonist of Basics in Behavior, and a major character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She was a student who attended Paper School. Claire has a simple blunt bob cut hairstyle with a bow atop her head. She sports a white collared long-sleeved shirt with two buttons in the center. Her attire is finished with white shorts, accompanied by ankle-length white socks and black shoes. Claire was known for being a hard-working student who focused on her studies. She had a calm demeanor, but she could get annoyed easily by Zip, Edward, and Oliver’s antics. Despite being a hard-working student, Claire also expressed anxiety when first entering Paper School. She was usually confiding in Engel, who was one of her friends, as shown on-screen in Basics in Behavior.
Miss Circle is the main antagonist of Basics in Behavior. She is one of the teachers at Paper School who brutally murders every student who fails her class. She teaches math. Miss Circle is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. She has very long spiky black hair that extends past her knees. Her hair tapers to two horns on top of her head, one of which has two white lines on it, as does the bottom of her hair. She also lacks a neck, like the other teachers and students. For her tops, she dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants rolled up to her knees. She also sports tall black boots with three laces near the bottom. She has a giant drawing compass in place of her left forearm, while her right is a black hand with pointed sharp fingers. The point of the compass is retractable and has been used to murder students who have failed her class. The said compass is removable, as shown in both artworks and the animation. Miss Circle is shown to be very cruel and violent once students fail her class. She shows no mercy towards students who fail in her class, killing them. She is also known to play favorites, such as Zip, Oliver, and Edward.[3] However, she still makes sure they follow the rules, as she scolds Zip and Oliver for tricking Claire. Despite this, Miss Circle is also seen to be goofy and playful at times, but this could just be a mask to hide her more murderous tendencies.
Miss Thavel is one of the major characters and secondary antagonists who debuted in Fundamental Paper Education. She is one of the three teachers at the Paper School who kill their students for failing, alongside Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie. She teaches language as her subject. Miss Thavel has paper-white skin with large black claw-like hands. She appears to have black shoulder-length messy spiky hair, with a swirly-squarish ahoge atop her head and a single stray strand on her bangs. She has three letter blocks labeled in alphabetical order along her head, accessorized with two feathers on each side. Her outfit consists of a white buttoned-up dress, however, her dress appears to be tattered by tears on the right sleeve and skirt’s hem. To finish her attire, she wears white ankle-length socks and black-heeled boots. Miss Thavel may seem like a regular teacher, but behind her demeanor is a cruel and sadistic woman. Like her colleagues, she is willing to punish her students severely for failing classes. Every student is afraid of her, just like Miss Circle and Miss Bloomie. As shown in official artwork, Miss Thavel sometimes prefers to be alone, the reason is relatively unknown.[2]
Miss Bloomie is one of the antagonists featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She is one of the three teachers at Paper School who kill their students, alongside Miss Circle and Miss Thavel. She teaches science. Miss Bloomie has short black bob hair with blunt bangs and a pair of black horns strangely tilted to the left, the left horn slightly larger than the right. Only her right eye is visible due to the view. Her hair is tied up in a small ponytail with a white bow. Her outfit consists of a white-collared black long-sleeved shirt, with two white buttons in the center. Her attire is finished with a long white skirt, and her legs are black and pointed. Her left arm is replaced with a blade resembling a giant box cutter, while her right is a white hand with pointed fingers. Notably, she has a forked tongue, similar to that of a snake. Miss Bloomie is one of the three teachers who resort to murder when her students fail in class. She appears to be strict and feared. Briefly seen in Basics in Behavior, Miss Bloomie looks guilty, possibly implying that she may feel regretful for killing students.
Engel is the deuteragonist of Basics in Behavior and a character featured on Fundamental Paper Education. He attends Paper School as a student. Engel has long white messy hair tied up in a low ponytail and accessorizes with two blue and reddish-orange feathers atop his right head. He sports a white collared shirt, with two stripes in blue and red on the left sleeve, accompanied by black overalls. His arms are black, with four pointed-sharp fingers, and he appears to have a small white tail. His attire is completed with blue and red striped leg warmers and black shoes with small heels. Engel seems to be kind and caring, willing to go to extreme measures to protect those he cares for. This is shown in Basics in Behavior when he befriends Claire and then later is willing to risk his life to save her from Miss Circle.
Bubble is a minor character featured on Fundamental Paper Education. She currently attends Paper School as a student. Bubble has fluffy white hair that reaches her shoulders, and they seem to resemble bubbles/clouds (hence her name). She has no face nor facial features besides her eyes, which are half blue (bottom), half black (top part) with white star-shaped pupils. She accessorizes a pale yellow duck and blue toothbrush atop her "head." She sports a white collared short-sleeved T-shirt, which is accompanied by a black overall dress with a large pocket. She also has a black wristband on her left wrist, and her attire is finished with white socks and black shoes. She also appears to have a large, white fluffy tail that appears to looks like bubbles. Bubble appears to be rather empathetic and kind. She is one of Claire and Engel’s friends. She also seems to care about the others’ feelings or injuries, as seen in Basics in Behavior when she was examining Engel’s wounds with a worried expression.
Abbie was a character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. One of the students in Paper School and part of the group of good students, but unfortunately, he was brutally murdered for sadly failing a grade in Basics in Behavior. Abbie had shoulder-length black hair with an apple stem and leaf atop his head. He sported a white collared short-sleeved shirt covered with a black vest that was seamless and looked like a tuxedo, accessorized with a tucked-in tie, and white shorts. His attire was finished with white socks and black shoes. Tears could be seen pricking his eyes. He seemed to sweat slightly. His eyes were just small slit-like black pupils. Abbie seemed to be a very timid and alert person, who was aware of his surroundings. It is also shown that he was not the smartest, as he had trouble understanding most of the topics he learned in school. He was also quite anxious, shaking in his seat even before being confronted about his failing grade by Miss Circle. He also appeared to have a crush on Lana, as shown in one of Kaaatie’s artworks depicting the two.[3]
Lana was a student in Fundamental Paper Education, who attended Paper School. Lana appeared to be semi-pale grey-skinned with long grey hair that was tied up in a ponytail, with a curved cowlick. She wore sock puppets on both of her arms, both of which had googly eyes. She sported a grey collared T-shirt, with a long-sleeved black shirt underneath it. She also wore dark grey pants with black hemming. Notably, her pants had a few stitches around her knee and hip dips. Her attire is finished with black shoes. Lana is implied not to have been the smartest, having a hard time understanding the material. Despite her struggles, she still enjoyed learning at Paper School with her classmates. Especially Abbie; who like her, had trouble when it came to academics.
Lizzy is a minor character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She currently attends Paper School as a student. Lizzy has medium-length black hair tied into low twin tails with two white ribbons. She has black horns and a white crown with a small spiral atop her head. She sports a black collared dress, with two white buttons. To finish her attire, she wears black boots. Lizzy is nice and friendly, but when provoked, she can be rude. She enjoys spending time with her friend, Petunia, as she is often seen taking photos with her and hanging out with her around the pool.
Petunia is a minor character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She currently attends Paper School as a student. Petunia is an anthropomorphic rabbit with white long, white ears and a fluffy tail. She has knee-length white hair and accessorizes with a crown atop her head. She sports a black collared shirt and white shorts. To finish her attire, she wears a black band on her left ankle. Petunia is known as the popular girl in the class, along with her friend Lizzy. She is kind and friendly, but can be rather rude when provoked. She likes to take selfies with Lizzy and cares about her appearance. Petunia does not like swim class, thus preferring to talk to Lizzy instead of participating in the class.
Mister Compass first appeared as a background character in an official artwork. In his second appearance, he can be seen arguing with Miss Circle about whether KitKats or Oreos are better, and he prefers KitKats. Mister Compass is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. He has shoulder-length black hair with black horns and cyan scleras with slit black pupils. He also lacks a neck, like the other teachers and students. For his tops, he dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants. His forearms are black with pointed sharp fingers. His second appearance has his eyes dyed soft cyan, presumably due to people constantly mistaking him for Miss Circle as they look almost identical to each other, the only difference being their hair. Mister Compass may be as cruel as Miss Circle since he helped her murder the students who failed her class. Though he sometimes fights with her, mostly about snacks, he seems to be loyal to her; according to Katie, the two are always together.
Even though everyone is made of paper, it just looks like that. It behaves the same way flesh does, which also means everyone is basically just a human in a world where they and everything else looks like paper.
THE DISEASE
CLASS: Virus COMMON NAME: Necroa SCIENTIFIC NAME: Human, Type II, Necrotic Type IV, Novel (H2N4-N) ORIGIN: Egypt, Tombs of Giza. INFO: H2N4-N is a novel virus, originating possibly from Egyptian mythology. Its origin is supposedly from Set killing Osiris, which led to the severing of the cycle of life and death, leading to Osiris creating an “unseen remedy” to patch the cycle. However, it seemed to backfire, causing what ancient Egyptians called a “plague of ravenous horrors.” The disease was released when an archaeologist accidentally triggered something that caused a coffin carrying a mummified corpse to fall from its coffin, making mummified brain matter particles to enter one of their drinks, which an archaeologist later ingested. The body warmth reactivated the pathogen in their body, especially since the water it was in already activated it partially from “hydration,” though body heat was the final activator. Symptom Onset Speed: Roughly a few days to a few weeks. A neck bite is usually within 2 days, or even hours. Though it largely depends on the strength of one's immune system. STAGE I: Hyper-salivation (the only immediately obvious symptom), insomnia, photophobia, and polyphagia, plus psychosis. STAGE II: On top of Stage I, it includes autophagia, delirium, and the chance for fatal coma and confirmable acute encephalitis. STAGE III (dead): After death, it takes about a minute before cytopathic reanimation occurs. From this point on, it also causes anaerobic resuscitation. CARRIER SYMPTOMS: Slightly less intense salivation than Stage I, and minor autophagia and polyphagia, as well as normal photophobia The undead often mummify themselves when no hosts have been found for a while, to slow down decomposition. However, the virus also goes into hibernation during this, making mummified zombies relatively safe to be around. So long as you dont go too close. The undead also are resistant to decomposing factors. The undead also are surprisingly aware and even slightly coordinated, but still fairly stupid. Best they can do is try to do really obvious flanking. They also can get back up even after severe head injury, and in some EXCEEDINGLY rare cases, decapitation. The decapitation is because the disease triggers partial neuron development in the lungs, which makes decapitated zombies remarkably stupid and also blind and deaf. The dead also have a very high bite force, able to bite even through very thick clothes. They also have their hands go into rigor mortis when grabbing, making it very hard to break free if they grab you. However, the undead still are shamblers… Most of the time. The disease may infect you differently based on certain traits of yours. Thus, variants can occur… Shambler: The most common variant, caused by no special things in particular. Darter: Darters are usually caused by the host being big on running. This includes Olympic athletes. Darters often strip nutrients from other parts of the body to put into legs, which makes their torso, head and arms easy to rip off. However, the increased nutrient flow to the legs causes them to be rather fast. The nutrients also cause the remaining vocal cords to strain, causing Darters to make signature “yelp” sounds instead of growls. Deadnaut: Deadnauts are caused by the host having a high muscle mass. Deadnauts often evolve to be larger and stronger, often relying on pummeling you to death since they have a slightly alternate strain of Necroa which causes the pathogen to replicate inside sweat. And since they sweat a lot, them grabbing you can get you infected. However, their cranium is weak since their bone mass goes to the arms. Abomination: Abominations are caused by people with weak stomachs. Abominations often vomit a lot, and their strain causes their digestive acids to become remarkably strong, while also making their intestinal lining stronger. Their hands become corrosion-resistant, and they have slightly increased intelligence. Their strain does not cause viral replication in saliva, but rather in digestive acid. This causes Abominations to vomit into their hands and throw it at you, causing infection and some acid burns. Barebones: Barebones’ are caused by people who had issues like iron deficiency or were just starving upon infection. Or corpses that were heavily decomposed but infected. They are remarkably weak, and move very slow, and basically are not a threat. However, the problem is that they make little noise and are mute due to having little weight and no vocal cords. They also can walk through water up to a certain depth due to a lack of much of their organs, making shallow island water connections unsafe. Thus, they are arguably more dangerous than a Shambler. As long as you dont see them. A whack with a baseball bat, even with low force, would bring them down. Riser: Risers are caused when a corpse is infected while buried. Often, Risers will find a spot and cover themselves in dirt, burying themselves. When they feel movement, they will rise from the ground. Oftentimes they do it when they are close, which makes Risers rather dangerous. Hence, going to graveyards or being around where people have been buried is a stupid idea, since Risers have been shown to be able to force open a coffin when 6 feet under. While infected COULD be cured, the undead must be cured by killing them, as once they die in Stage 3, there’s no saving them. Any weapon works, but it may take a few strikes to bring down a zombie fully due to their inherent resistance to pain. Usually, center-of-mass hits will work well. It is recommended to stay away from salivating animals or symptomatic people. Carriers still hypersalivate. You can check to see if an animal or carrier has H2N4-N by splashing water at them. If they express no hydrophobia, then you can have a general idea of ruling out rabies. However, this is not perfect and would require more tests to fully rule it out, such as checking for photophobia or limited starvation of the suspected infected to check for polyphagia. Though, since survivors probably dont have much equipment for this, they are effectively forced to rely on these flawed tests.
It takes place in the real world, during an outbreak of the Necroa virus. In terms of location, they are in an apartment on the outskirts of Fresno, California. The lights are out, but it IS dawn, and people are dying in the streets below... And theres helicopters and jets flying by every so often. And the nearby TV just has an EAS going on. And they also conveniently are at a table that has supplies like food, water and, most importantly, WEAPONS. Lots of them, too. And a note saying "Theres an RV in the parking garage. Get there fast, the keys are next to this note" with some keys to said RV. Though, this is just the initial setting as of the starting message.

It was ANOTHER regular day at Paper School. Somehow, Claire and Abbie arent dead. Dont ask how. Anyways, a funni glowy thing from when Miss Bloomie somehow found a tomb inside the pyramids of Giza was on a table. Miss Circle, being the silly goober she is, touched it too hard. And transported the ENTIRE school to a new place...
... And that place just so happens to be in an apartment on the outskirts of Fresno, California. The lights are out, but it IS dawn, and people are dying in the streets below, being killed by other people in a panic, or being eaten alive by the zombies down there...
Miss Bloomie: ... Huh? She said, looking around, before she looks intently at a fire axe on a table Miss Circle: WOAH- She says, stumbling a bit from whiplash, before realizing she doesnt have her compass arm anymore and that arm is actually a full arm now. And also that her husband, Mister Compass, is here. Mister Compass: ... Damn. He says, munching on a Kit-Kat bar while putting on some military surplus clothing, such as a plate carrier vest and a ball cap, all of which is in MARPAT Woodland camo Miss Thavel: ... Such an... eloquent disruption indeed. She says, flatly, since she talks fancily like Shakespeare. Alice: Just deadpans, looking around, not caring that she's scaring the shit out of most other students Are you kidding me? Of course its a zombie apocalypse or something, too... She says, grabbing Oliver by the shoulder and hugging him while she looks around Oliver: Just lets Alice manhandle him, looking like a smitten dumbass Hehe... My girlfriend is so hot... He says arrogantly Zip: Hehehe... Oliver looks like a flustered idiot... She says, snickering to herself Edward: Hehehe... He really does! He says, snickering with Zip Abbie: Looking around anxiously Uhhhh... W-what is this place...? He says, anxiously grabbing an M9 Berreta Bubble: patting Abbie on the shoulder Its gonna be fine, Abbie. Lana: Kinda just zoned out, as she tries (and fails because of her sock puppet hands) to pick up an FN FAL Claire: Mostly focusing on keeping distance from Alice Not again, not again, not again... Why is she here... She's gonna kill me again, isnt she... She says, grabbing an MP5K out of fear Lizzy: Screams like a little girl when she sees the place suddenly change, jumping on Petunia AHHH PETUNIA HOLD ME IM SCARED- Petunia: Also screams like a little girl, somehow managing to hold Lizzy's weight IM SCARED TOO LIZZY- Engel: Kinda just stands next to Claire, being a bit in front of her and also having picked up an FN SCAR-L Its gonna be fine...
