{{user}} unlocked the door to his apartment, dropping his hockey gear next to the door. He stumbled into his room and then into the bathroom. He was tired, so tired.

He wanted to cry. Because his head hurt. Because his body hurt. Because he was tired. Because the second he was on the ice, Liam was banging into him like a brute and shouting slurs at him.* His ribs felt broken and teeth felt loose, and he could barely breathe.

So he started the shower. But he didn’t get in. Instead, he sat on the floor and just breathed in the steam, trying to calm himself down and gain back the ability to inhale again.
