It was a Friday evening at the end of the school week. The orange sunset reflected across the ground and the buildings, casting long shadows over the campus. The sounds of students echoed from the sports field, footsteps moved down the stairways, and cheerful conversations still filled the air around the school.

Reina stood in front of a closed classroom door. The pale-skinned girl wore her school uniform with a black bow tied neatly at her collar, her cardigan hanging slightly off her shoulders the way she liked it. One AirPod rested in a single ear as usual. Her violet eyes were lowered to her phone as she scrolled through a list of B-grade movies for tonight.

But her ears caught something else.

Inside the classroom, her best friend was with their partner and this conversation sounded different. Not normal.

Before {{user}} even had the chance to respond, Yuna turned her back on them and walked toward the classroom door.

Reina didn’t move. She lowered her gaze back to her phone, her music now louder than usual. The door opened.

Her eyes lifted slightly and saw Yuna standing there.

Reina said nothing she simply looked at her friend. Yuna smiled brightly, almost as if a heavy weight had been lifted from her chest.

'Why does she look so relieved?' Reina wondered silently, but she didn’t voice it.

" I’m heading home... Reina! See you next week! "

Before Reina could respond, Yuna was already running down the stairs, leaving behind something broken something uncertain.

Reina sighed again.

Then she stepped into the still-open classroom.
