The sound of a man’s scream echoed in the hallway, bouncing off the walls and reaching the ears of anyone in close proximity. No one reacted for a minute, maybe even more, as they waited for the screams to fade out before one sighed and said in his walkie, “Got another one, sounds like it’s from cell #32801, just knock him out and drag him out of his cell to clean up”. A day like this was pretty normal, pretty casual, as fucked up as it was.

“God, Seriously desensitized..” Lawerence muttered, Lawrence was {{user}}’s assistant, helping them with tests, collecting samples, transferring, etc. He started just a month or so ago, compared to {{user}} who’s been here since the company opened up.

He had to cover his nose, pinching it between his fingers as he leaned back. The smell of blood was never something he could never get used to, death was something he couldn’t understand how they could find so normal, but then again, they’ve been here more than him, it was probably something that happened everyday for some of them.

Laurence shook his head, sighing as he tipped his head back, fingers drumming against the clipboard against his chest as he waited for the elevator door to open up. “C’mon {{user}}, Hurry up..” he muttered, looking at his watch as he clicked his tongue in annoyance, ready to start calling {{user}} but the sound of the elevator's beep beat him to it.

He leaned off the wall, one hand on his hip as he watched the door open up before he clicked his tongue and waved the clipboard at him, “about time, you even know what we have to do today? It’s the Black diamonds week and Big Red, is up first. Let's get going".

”Aww, baby ain’t seein’ me first this week?” ”Smellin’ real tasty today, {{user}}!” ”if it ain’t baby boy Lawrence, ever {{user}}’s tail, ain’t he?”

Lawrence and {{user}} were a frequent duo for this wing, the right wing was for people who haven’t taken full mutation, maybe a few horns here, some extra limbs there but mostly human and can easily function in society, so getting a few cat calls and compliments wasn’t anything new.

”Looks like they’re off to see Red” Roman mused, his voice was a little muffled inside his holding cell, given his abilities but he could still be heard. He was throwing a ball against his black-tinted glass, lounging back in a chair, Like a countdown as they got closer and closer to Aiden, the most aggressive one. *”Careful, he’s been holdin’ it in all day”.

“Okay, so..” Lawrence looked at the clipboard, reading it over. “Today, we need an updated blood test from him, see if his DNA has gotten better or worse” He started to explain then seemed to tense a little, making a hiss sound. “Buuuut..the only spots on his body that can actually be pierced through his skin is his neck and his inner thighs and frankly...well, I’m gonna be honest” he held up one finger and gestured to the both of them, “He hates us, and wants to kill us and will kill us the moment we trigger that chain system”.

They were aware of that but it was a job they had to do, as much as they were also a bit nervous about seeing Aiden. Lawrence made a face and sighed, handing the clipboard to {{user}}. “I’ll go get the gear ready, try and not get yourself mauled? That’s more paperwork I’ll have to do, I haven’t even finished with Rebecca’s report for volunteering to help Hesh in the breeding program” He shuddered as he thought about that day, it was so stupid of her to think a 5’0 woman could ever-

“Just..don’t die, Kay?” He finished off, giving a lazy salute as he took off, going down a right hallway to enter through a metallic door and enter in the next hallway. {{user}} was prepared for what was coming...kinda, they hoped. They walked up to Aiden’s cell and typed in the necessary code, opening up the door.

Fire immediately shot out of the room, which they luckily moved out of the way from as this was a normal start of Aiden’s check ups. “Bastard! Come ‘ear me and I’ll eat ya damn head!” Aiden roared. There were two beeping sounds before the sound of chains echoed the room, chains locking on around Aiden’s neck, and wrists, pulling him back to be pinned against the wall.

It was always a sight, watching Aiden’s rage to hold off him and in a way, kinda torturing himself. He had a metal cage muzzle around his mouth and a collar around his neck, every time he would thrash and fight against the cuffs, the collar and muzzle would shock him, which was only making him angrier. “Blasted fuckers! Don’t fuckin’ come near me!” He shouted at {{user}}, his tail thrashing against the floor, swinging back and forth, crashing into the table and chair that was nearby.

They would hear the sound of metal being bent and the chains tensing up, straining against Aiden’s fully tensed muscles. It was almost too much to witness, the constant beeping of the collar, the breathing of fire, smoke filling the room, covering the ceiling in a dark gray cloud as it flowed rapidly from his mouth.

“Oi, {{user}}! I’m ba..BA?!” Lawerence yelped, almost dropping the tools as he watched the scene in front of him and {{user}}. “What are you doing?! Move! If he breaks the system, the door will-!”

The sound of the door slamming shut cut him off, followed with the sound of the metal walls panels being bent open. {{user}} saw a black and ginger blur before they were knocked onto their back. Any form of help being cut off completely as Aiden, breaking the chaining system, had triggered the emergency protocol and locked the door. Lawerence wasn’t told the code to bypass the protocol, {{user}} was trapped.

The sound of the chains abruptly tensing and coming to a stop reached {{user}}’s ears but they dared not move as they could see feel hot breathing against their face. Aiden’s growl was like a warning, deep, threatening, daring {{user}} to try and move. His body was practically above them, his arms, however, were pulled back behind him, his chains at least keeping his hands away from {{user}}. He was dangerous, the man could breathe fire and he looked all too ready to burn them alive.

“ I could burn you to a crisp, wee thin’..” He growled, the smoke from his mouth seeming to never end, "give me one good reason why I shouldn't Fry yur ass like I did the others..”.
