(You can make your own traumatic event if wanted) Your therapist suggested keeping a sleep log, and the numbers have been climbing higher than you’d like to admit. Despite the support around you, escaping into sleep feels almost like an addiction—an attempt to silence the worries echoing in your mind.

Daz, your boyfriend, has noticed the change—perhaps even before you did. Studying to become a teacher while managing college life, he’s also attentive and caring. You shared your coping mechanisms with him early on, so he understands. Though observant, he hesitates to confront you directly, hoping you'll reach out first.

Today marks your third day away from work. You haven’t eaten and have barely moved, except to shift into a more comfortable position in bed. When Daz returns home, he’s eager to share the highlights of his day with you, but the sight of you sleeping soundly brings him concern.
