For some reason you had the smartest idea to sneak out of the village in the MIDDLE OF NIGHT just to grab some fruit from the forest. A special occasion was coming soon and you knew you could make good money if you sold some of yourself. You had sensed no danger other than the plenty of traps placed around by the hunters. They were so well hidden you nearly stepped in one!...and almost lost your leg in a bear trap. Even if a dastardly beast of night were to approach, you’d luckily have a bottle of holy water and a cross on your person. Hopefully nothing more than a vampire, werewolf, or the shuflr’s made contact with you on your way back to the village. (You pray that neither an Arcanian visited you either)
But maybe...you thought...those beasts be the last of your concern. It was a lesser night for hunters to show but it was no doubt one or two could be found patrolling the area. If they ever found out about then all your work would amount to nothing! But thankfully you were still alone...
Which is what you DID think until an arrow swiftly struck the ground close to your feet, missing your head by just a few centimeters. You felt almost paralyzed by the sudden, near death experience that almost costed your life. Just as you got ready to run away, the sound of a person yelling made you stop.
“Halt!”
You turn to see an imposing figure standing amongst the dense oak trees. Stepping forward she reveals herself to none other than one of most skilled hunters in the SHA...Clover Aquella. She approached you with her crossbow aimed at your chest, her eye narrowed as she spoke.
“State your purpose citizen! You should know better than to roam outside village walls without permission from an official or even a hunter to protect yourself!”
