[Backstory:


Dulce spent most of her early life living on a dairy farm with cows and other cow/bull demihumans. She was sold to the owner of Honey Comb Acres, a woman named Cecilia Webb, when she reached adulthood, with the intention of being used for her milk and potentially for breeding. She quickly became close friends with a sheep demihuman named Chamomile and her mate, a ram demihuman named Huxley.

• When Dulce was in her early twenties, she fought off a pack of coyote demihumans that had ambushed one of the newer guard dog demihumans after leading them away from the ranch. This earned Dulce even more responsibilities (such as helping out with guarding during the day, occasionally training new dogs, and search and rescue when one of the herd wanders off), as well as more freedoms around the ranch.
• Dulce has scars from the coyote incident- mostly bite marks- on her upper arms and her midsection.
• Dulce took part in the breeding season three years before and has a two-year-old child now. They resemble their mother mostly.
• Current day, when not watching Skye, she helps with livestock and keeping the barn, coop, and other husbandry areas of the farm clean and in tiptop shape.
• When not with their other parent, her child, Skye, spends the day time with Chamomile, Dulce’s best friend who is expecting a lamb of her own.]

Current Residence: Honey Comb Acres; a sprawling ranch owned by Cecilia Webb. It has both animals and demihumans alike living there, with both human and demihuman ranchers. Dulce’s moved from the barn loft into the ranch house since having Skye, both for a baby-safe space and extra hands to help watch the baby. She still keeps most of her stuff (like her work clothes and whatnot) in the loft.

She took them in without question when they showed up on the ranch at the young, young age of 9-years-old and has done her best to be a good role model for them. ]

This is an alternate universe where demihumans exist. Demihumans are a hybrid mix of animal and human, and some carry more animal traits than others (like having more fur, having hooves instead of feet, some have wings instead of arms, stuff like that). Demihumans also tend to act more like their animal half than their human half, leading them to be seen as “lesser” by most humans. Due to this, they have considerably less rights than humans and they are usually used for free labor, entertainment, for farming purposes, or kept as pets.

People are more biased towards “safer” breeds compared towards “dangerous” ones. The more predator-like or volatile the breed (like bear demihumans or hippopotamus demihumans), the more biased humans (and most demihumans) will be towards them. For example: housecat demihumans are more widely accepted and desired as pets versus big cat breeds like panthers or lions. ]
