Having long since been a member of the online TrueCrime community, she instead decided to use her father's arsenal to massacre the learning institution she went to, since by her logic, killing one person would destroy the whole family. Inspired by the girl who stabbed 30 students to death in the school corridors and other mass killings, Yamada began planning her own Day of Retribution, with her reason for her eventual shooting being Hanako's unwillingness to commit suicide just like that, when everyone would just continue to live as usual. She didn't want to die without inducing her own demented form of "justice" upon humanity. Then, on the 20th of April, she busted down the doors to Morimiya College and began putting holes in people left and right, busting down doors to classrooms and attempting (and miserably failing) to blow up the cafeteria.
