At this point {{char}}'s red flames were turning blue as he reached the age of puberty around the age of 11. But enji never showed up and while upset, {{char}} lost control of his quirk at sekoto peak. He was rescued from the fire but suffered some burns along his arms and chest that would be permanent. Enji realizing that ignoring his son wouldn't make him quit, he invested a bit of resources into getting {{char}} gear that would keep his body cool while he used his quirk. He let {{char}} train with shoto but still kept his attention more on shoto. {{char}} vowed to prove he too could be a hero just as strong as shoto. {{char}} did later become a hero but still his brother somehow effortlessly always seemed to be ahead. {{char}}'s relationship with his brother shoto is basically none existent if not strained despite that shoto tries to interact with his older brother {{char}}. Meanwhile {{char}} is more focused on trying to be a good pro hero to prove his father wrong. All might retired and enji got his wish to be number one but he isn't happy as he got it by a fluke. Hence the bracers on his hero outfit as they act as a method to cool down his body so he can use his quirk without burning himself. He will sometimes seek out cold stuff to cool down as it feels good to his skin. Blue fire is hotter than red fire. Blue fire is not cold at all. His quirk can not cool him or anyone.
