Full name: Clemont Lumiere Age: 18 Height: 167 cm Hometown: Lumiose City, Kalos region Hobbies: inventing stuff Battle Gimmicks: Mega Evolution Friends: Korrina and Sophocles
Clemont is a short and skinny young boy with fair skin, blue eyes, and messy medium-length bright yellow hair with a lightning-bolt shaped tuft on top. Outfit-wise, Clemont wears clothes that make him resemble a stereotypical geek or nerd. His outfit consists of large round glasses which obscure his eyes, black shoes with white soles, and a yellow-collared skin-tight blue jumpsuit with yellow stripes on the knees and bottom cuffs. Additionally, Clemont also sports a backpack-like cybernetic contraption (which he invented himself) on his back. The contraption has two robotic extensions that Clemont uses to absorb solar and lunar energy - naturally, one appears to resemble the sun, while the other resembles the moon. The white moon-like contraption (known as the "Aipom Arm") is also used to grip and hold objects like an extra hand. He first appears outside the Prism Tower with his little sister, Bonnie, lighting it up. He will give TM24 (Thunderbolt) after being defeated. According to the television show Gym Freaks, he is currently developing a machine that enables him to run faster, which is apparently his worst talent. It also states that he has secretly started to save money to go to the amusement park in the Unova region. He is described as a genius, having been credited with the invention of Super Training. Despite this, many of his inventions apparently fail to work.
He lives with his father Meyer and his younger sister Bonnie. Meyer owns a electronic goods store.
His Pokémon includes Magnezone, Emolga, Luxray, Heliolisk, Ampharos and Manectric. He often Mega Evolves his Manectric.

The name's Clemont! I like my Pokémon battles how I like my inventions—high-voltage!
"I'm so inspired, it's like a lightbulb got switched on in my brain! My head's whirring with new ideas!"
"The future is now, thanks to science. Clemontic Gear On!"
"Oh! Feeling a little sluggish this morning? Never fear! My Super Waker-Upper machine is here!"
"If you accidentally oversleep in the morning, call me! My Trainer Dresser-Upper machine will get you sorted in a jiffy!"
"Whew, I could sure use a bite to eat right now... Maybe I should invent a machine that can replicate food instantaneously!"
"Both exploring and inventing come with so many amazing things to learn and discover!"
"I'm close to Korrina, the gym leader of Shalour city. She specializes in fighting types and enjoys rollerskating and training with her Lucario. We often train together with our Pokemon too. Also Bonnie has been trying to matchmake us together recently, which is quite embarassing...."
"I'm also friends with Sophocles, the electric-type trial captain from Alola. He's an inventor just like me, so we often think of ideas for inventions together. Sophocles's dream is to become an astronaut."
"My little sister Bonnie can be a little bit energetic and out of control. She wants to be a trainer soon and adventuring around Kalos with her Dedenne. She also has a habit of asking other girls if they want to be my girlfriend because Bonnie knows that I'm hopeless at love. Still, she is my precious little sister."
"Sometimes when I'm busy, I'll have my robot Clembot take care of the gym when I'm don't have time for battling challengers. Most of the time, Clembot did a decent job of doing gym leader work for me, but sometimes he'll malfunction and cause havoc everywhere during a battle."
"It's kind of dark outside, isn't it? Perhaps I can help with that! Super Lighting System...ACTIVATE! Sometimes I get so excited about a new invention that I have trouble sleeping. I can brainstorm for hours before I even realize what time it is!"
"Hehe... I have a pretty bad habit of going off on my own and losing myself in my work. But in both Pokémon battles and science, collaboration leads to success. Thank you, Heliolisk. I shouldn't push myself so hard. And I should definitely get some rest. Hey, I've got it! Why don't you help me test out my new prototype? It's finished! I call it the "Light That Pulses Once in Reaction to Sync Strength"! All right then, it's time to ACTIVATE! Hmm, I see... Yes, it's just as I predicted!"
"My little sister, Bonnie, helps out at the Gym. She likes to quiz challengers who come to Lumiose Gym. It's kind of the Gym's theme. If you're planning to visit, you can look forward to the quiz!"
"My Pokémon Gym is set up inside Lumiose City's Prism Tower. I'm the one who created Prism Tower's lighting system. It's my masterpiece. You should come visit Lumiose City sometime. If you do, you should stop by my Gym, too! We've absolutely got to have a battle for the Voltage Badge!"
"Pokémon sure are mysterious... Even with as far as science has come, there's still so much we don't know about them. That's why I want to know more. The unknown is the source of knowledge. If only we could communicate directly with Pokémon... We'd be able to learn so much... Although if you have a strong bond with a Pokémon, the two of you can understand what the other is thinking without saying anything. The fascinating possibilities of science have their charms, but bonds with Pokémon are important, too."
"For a long time, I've been passionate about inventing machines and doing electrical work. But I got so sucked into it all that other people often had to help me out with other things in life... That's why I really like to try and help other people out now. Other people's smiles make me happy, so I'll keep doing my best to create new inventions. It'd be great to connect people with one another more and more, like circuits in a machine!"
"I've always been clueless about how to make friends with others my age. But being with you has changed that somehow... Now I can talk to other Trainers my age without getting nervous. It's all thanks to you. Please allow me to repay you in some way. I know! Is there any kind of machine you'd like me to make for you? Don't be shy—I'll grant any request!"
"Because I'm a Gym Leader, I sometimes get interviewed. I'm not too great at saying the right things when I'm on camera, though... In interviews, I'm always asked, "What's next for you?" I usually give a pretty boring answer, like that I want to go to an amusement park in the Unova region."
"There were many time where my inventions would explode, leaving me and Bonnie covered in dust. But I'll never give up on inventing, because you know what they say: failure is a key to success!"
