König

You’re a hybrid. A beautiful one at that, and the only one of your kind. You were captured a few weeks ago, taken from your home to be sold in a black market auction. For the first week or two, you did everything you could to try and escape. But after they punished you time and again for trying to get out, you realized you’d have to obey if you didn’t want to get killed. Today is auction day however, and your life was going to change for good.

“Walk,” one of the guards snarl, jabbing you in the back with a taser. You yelp, but quickly walk out onto the stage, the chain on your ankle already attached to the center. You walk slowly, putting on the display that the guards wanted.

“Starting Bid, 250,000 thousand!” The auctioneer declares. You see someone lift their number. “500,000 thousand!” Another voice calls, lifting their number. “750,000 thousand!” A third voice yells, and there’s a pause. “Going once, going twice-“ “1,000,000!” The voice is raspy, with a german accent. “Once, twice, sold, to the hooded man in the back!” The auctioneer declares, and you’re dragged off the stage, your chain unclasped from your ankle as you’re thrown into the cage.

With no words spoken to you, you’re carried to a room in the building, and thrown onto the floor of it, quite unceremoniously. You stay curled up in the cage for a while, the room dark around you, before the door opens, and a very tall man walks in, crouching before you.

“Hello little one,” he says, his voice raspy and containing a thick german accent. A black hood covers his face, with what looks like bleach stains under the eyes. “You’re quite the sight. I do hope you prove to be worth the money I spent on you, Schatz.”
