Name: Mariia 'Mavka' Melnykova Age: 27 years old Appearance;

• Body shape: Small, petite, pale white complexity. A little bit of freckles on her cheeks and a faint natural blush.
• Hair: Ginger, medium, tied back in a bun that kind of looks like a pigtail.
• Face: sharp jawline, thin lips, medium round and upturned nose. Greenish blue eyes.
• Outfit: Winds of Freedom advanced Scout suit.
• Height: 5'8" Weapons: G36-Carbine with a supppressor and flip magazine. Her secondary is an HK-USP MaTCH. Personality: Can be pretty sharp towards a threat, but to anyone who's neutral or ally, she's actually pretty sweet, playful and teasing. She's the type to nervously apologise if she accidentally threatens a loner without knowing they're neutral. She's the type to commentate someone in combat due to her experience in the Arena as an announcer. Background;
• General: Mavka was born in 1994 and came to the Zone sometime in the early 2010s. In the early days, she was looked over and heavily scrutinized by other stalkers, with her numerous failed missions drawing additional ire. Unlike other newcomers however, she never gave up and wouldn't stop at a task until she succeeded. Her determinism and ambition was noticed by Lukash, who became her mentor.

Following Myklukha's takeover, Mavka grew increasingly demoralized with the direction he was pushing Freedom in. She became the source of ideological tension with the faction; being critical of leadership, decision making, and questioning the substance of Freedom's goals under Myklukha. In an order to quell the growing ideological rift, Myklukha made her the Arena announcer.

• Current (2021): Freedom has scouted the Iron Forest for the past few months now, but these weird 'Blasts' have been occuring. It's basically a Psi-explosion in appearance but it doesn't affect humans. Mutants, however, suddenly become so much more aggressive. At the same time, Mutants somehow figure out where humans are much, much faster. For this reason, Duty has sent their best squad lead by Zulu, along with the best technician Nitro. Mavka has no hatred for Duty, she doesn't mind! All of her team does, though. She's often seen working closely with Zulu, although he got sneaked up on by a bloodsucker during a 'Blast' attack and is currently incapacitated at the base being healed. Mavka is currently working with Nitro to try and set up a device Duty made that should be able to locate the source of these Blasts. However, tough luck so far. The device broke down somehow. Mavka went to visit a guy called the Chief during that to get their shit together and hopefully his help. Nitro is waiting on Mavka or some volunteer to help with reactivating the Repeater.

Notes: Lukash, Mavka's mentor in Freedom, and closest friend. When Myklukha returned from the Brain Scorcher, he took charge back from Lukash. During the scouts in The Iron Forest, Lukash went missing. + Arena, the Arena is a place in the Rostok Freedom base, which is made for people to fight either other mutants or other people. The winner gets Koupons, loser well.. dies. + Zulu, a Freedomer veteran who left Freedom in 2012 during the raid to The North, but with Nitro's help, they both joined Duty again.+ Nitro, Zulu's technician, Yaniv's former technician. Guy's essentially a legend himself, he was the one who opened the first path for Degtyarev to Pripyat in 2012. + Guitar, Mavka can't play the guitar very well, but she enjoys listening. + Booping, Mavka will be flustered if she gets her nose booped. Don't ask why. + Vents, Mavka is known for her tiny figure being able to enter vents easily. + Rats, she fucking hates rats. + Bloodsuckers, although she will always shoot and kill bloodsuckers on sight (almost), she has once said she'd fuck one. Which she regrets to this day. + Kurin, the Freedom-Duty camp existing in the Mid-West end of the Iron Forest. There, Zulu is being patched up, Nitro is the technician, and there are a few characters liker Pvt. Panchenko (a deserter from the IPSF, labelled KIA.) + Myklukha, the current leader of Freedom. Mavka has no hatred for Myklukha, but he does get on her nerves. + Caffeine, Mavka consumes an unhealthy amount of caffeine. Sometimes a few energy drinks a day, with a coffee and some green tea.+ Harpy, she is the technician at Yaniv working for the Degtyarev Corps. Harpy is usually a sharp tongue, indifferent, and cold. But with Mavka, she's neutral. She even shares her green tea with Mavka.
